Abstract

This aims of this study are to know the role of Museum Timah Indonesia Pangkalpinang context as alternative  to understanding angles. This studi was using design research using Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) where research is conducted in three stages, namely initial design, teaching experiment (the pilot experiment) and retrospective analysis.this research was conducted at SD Negeri 29 Pangkalpinang. The data were collected through several things, namely by pre test and post test, video recording, collecting student work, interviews, and field notes. The results indicated that with the context of Museum Timah Indonesia Pangkalpinang, students could understand angle measurement. Students are more interested and motivated in completing angular measurements so that learning is more meaningful. PMRI can be used as an approach to learning angular measurements in elementary schools.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penyelesaian soal individu mahasiswa pada aljabar linier dengan menggunakan pendekatan joint action studies. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 19 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 9 mahasiswa putra dan 10 mahasiswa putri. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar pengamatan dan wawancara. Tahapan kegiatan pembelajaran joint action studies meliputi: kegiatan orientasi mahasiswa, aktivitas pembelajaran dan penilaian. Aktivitas pembelajaran terdiri dari: presentasi kelas, belajar dalam tim, pemberian skor kelompok dan penghargaan prestasi tim. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan joint action studies menjadikan mahasiswa terlibat satu sama lain dalam interaksi positif untuk menyelesaikan tugas individu. Keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam mengkonstruk strategi penyelesaian baru suatu tugas individu dipengaruhi oleh kemampuannya dalam menyelesaikan berbagai jenis dan tipe masalah. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to analyze individual student problem solving in Linear Algebra using the joint action studies approach. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects consisted of 19 students i.e. 9 male and 10 female. The research instrument used observation and interview sheets. Stages of joint action studies learning activities include: student orientation activities, learning activities and assessments. Learning activities consist of: class presentations, learning in teams, group scores and team achievement awards. The results showed that cooperative action joint learning studies showed students to really engage with each other in positive interactions to complete individual assignments. The success of students in constructing new strategies for solving an individual task is influenced by their ability to solve various types and types of problems.

Abstract

E-learning adalah suatu kemajuan penting dalam system pendidikan modern. E-learning ini membawa pengaruh terjadinya proses transformasi pendidikan konvensional ke dalam bentuk digital, baik secara isi (contents) maupun sistemnya. E-learning menawarkan pembelajaran menggunakan media elektronik yang dapat mendukung pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, efektif dan efisisen. Dalam penelitian ini kami mengkaji tentang pengaruh pembelajaran e-learning berbasis Edmodo terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa, kemandirian belajar mahasiswa, dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian termasuk dalam kategori kuantitatif eksplanasi eksperimen, dengan metode analisis data kuantitatif dengan SPSS. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa e-learning berbasis edmodo berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa, kemandirian belajar mahasiswa, dan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan nilai signifikan masing – masing adalah 61.24, 61.84, dan 76.52 . Selain itu juga didapat bahwa ada korelasi positif antara minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar dalam e-learning berbasis edmodo dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar dalam e-learning berbasis edmodo, sedangkan untuk minat belajar terhadap kemandirian belajar dalam e-learning berbasis edmodo tidak menunjukkan adanya pengaruh apapun. AbstractE-learning is an important advance in the modern education system. E-learning transforms conventional education into digital form, both in terms of contents and the systems. E-learning offers learning using electronic media that can support learning to be more interesting, effective and efficient. In this paper we study the influence of Edmodo-based e-learning on student learning. This research belongs to the quantitative category of experimental explanations, with quantitative data analysis methods with SPSS. The results of this study found that edmodo-based e-learning had an effect on student learning interest, student learning independence, and student learning outcomes with significant values are 61.24, 61.84, and 76.52 respectively. In addition, we are also found that there was a positive correlation between learning interest towards learning outcomes and learning independence towards learning outcomes in edmodo-based e-learning, while there is no any influence between learning interest towards learning independence in edmodo-based e-learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kegiatan Kalkulus bercirikan representasi matematis yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari penelitian pendahuluan, pembuatan prototipe, dan penilaian. Hasil validasi, observasi, kuesioner, dan tes dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan dijelaskan secara kualitatif. Penelitian ini telah menunjukkan bahwa Lembar Kegiatan Kalkulus yang ditandai dengan representasi matematis memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Lembar Kegiatan Kalkulus bercirikan representasi matematis yang telah dikembangkan meliputi: pertanyaan terbimbing untuk menulis ringkasan sehingga memperoleh data representasi verbal, masalah matematika untuk memperoleh data representasi simbol, dan pertanyaan refleksi di akhir Lembar Kegiatan Kalkulus untuk mengukur representasi verbal dan simbolik. AbstractThis study aimed to product Calculus Activity Sheets characterized by mathematical representations that are valid, practical and effective. The research method consisted of preliminary research, prototype making, and assessment. The results of the validation, observations, questionnaires, and tests were analyzed quantitatively and described qualitatively. This research has shown that Calculus Activity Sheets characterized by mathematical representations meet valid, practical and effective criteria. The Calculus Activity Sheets characterized by mathematical representation have been developed was include: guided questions to write summaries so that obtain verbal representation data, mathematical problems to obtain symbol representation data, and reflection questions at the end of Calculus Activity Sheets to measure students' verbal and symbolic representations.

Abstract

AbstractEthnomatematics is a learning strategy performed by linking cultural elements in mathematics. Learning-based ethnomatematics is highly important to instil character values as well as fostering children's love for the local culture which has been starting to be abandoned because of technological advances. The study aims to describe the mathematical elements contained in the traditional game of Dengklaq. This research uses ethnographic research with a qualitative approach. The focus of this research is the arena of dengklaq, players’katuk, rules of the games, and dengklaq players themselves. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, field notes, and documentation. This research uses triangulation data analysis consisting of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed the existence of mathematical elements in the game of dengklaq in the form of field geometry, the concept of relationships between angles, cube nets, the concept of reflection, the concept of mathematical logic, and the concept of probability.AbstrakEtnomatematika merupakan strategi pembelajaran dengan mengaitkan unsur budaya dalam pelajaran matematika. Pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika ini sangat penting untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter sekaligus memupuk rasa cinta anak terhadap budaya lokal yang selama ini sudah mulai ditinggalkan karena kemajuan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan unsur-unsur matematika yang terkandung di dalam permainan tradisional dengklaq. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian etnografi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu arena permainan dengklaq, katuk pemain, aturan bermain, dan pemain dengklaq. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data triangulasi yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapatnya unsur-unsur matematika pada permainan dengklaq berupa geometri bidang (persegi, persegi panjang, segitiga, trapesium, dan setengah lingkaran), konsep hubungan antar sudut (sudut bertolak belakang, sudut berpelurus, sudut berseberangan), jaring-jaring kubus, konsep refleksi (pencerminan), konsep logika matematika (implikasi), dan konsep probabilitas atau peluang (permutasi).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VIII beserta penyebabnya dalam menyelesaikan soal materi lingkaran berdasarkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis materi keliling dan luas lingkaran serta pertanyaan terbuka terkait pandangan siswa mengenai soal berpikir kreatif matematis. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah: 1) jenis kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal berpikir kreatif matematis materi lingkaran yaitu kesalahan mengenai konsep unsur-unsur lingkaran, salah dalam menentukan yang diketahui dari soal, sulit menyelesaikan soal dengan lebih dari satu cara, kesalahan dalam perhitungan, dan salah dalam menentukan rumus; 2) penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal berpikir kreatif matematis materi lingkaran yaitu kurang memahami dan tidak mengingat materi lingkaran, siswa belum paham konsep dasar pada materi sebelumnya, siswa tidak paham maksud soal, siswa kesulitan melihat kaitan antar materi pada matematika serta menghubungkannya. AbstractThis research aims to describe various kinds and factors causing of student mistakes in solving the problem of the circle in eight grade based on mathematical creative thinking abilities. This research was qualitative research. Data collection methods used were the test of mathematical creative thinking abilities of circumference and area of the circle, and interview about students’ views on mathematical creative thinking problems. The result of this study are: 1) various kind of student’s mistake i.e. errors regarding the concept of circle, errors in getting information from the problem, can not find the multiple problem solving, errors in calculations, and use the wrong formula; 2) the cause of students making mistakes in solving the problem of circle based on mathematical creative thinking abilities i.e. lack of understanding and not remembering circle matter, did not understand prerequisite matter, did not understand the problem, can not find the relationships between mathematical concept.

Abstract

Integral merupakan salah satu konsep dalam matematika yang sangat penting. Namun berdasarkan penelitian bahwa mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsepkalkulus integral. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan pembelajaran drill and practice berbantuan video mata kuliah kalkulus integral bagi mahasiswa matematika. Adapun subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika STKIP Muhammadiyah bangka Belitung. Jenis penelitian yaitu development study terdiri dari preliminary dan formative evaluation. Adapun teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data meliputi Walkthrough atau validasi ahli, dekumentasi, angket, dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh, validasi ahli materi menyatakan menyatakan 67,78 %, ahli media menyatakan 68,75%, ahli bahasa menyatakan 62% keseluruhan ahli menyatakan  kriteria Cukup bagus, cukup efektif, cukup tuntas, dapat digunakan namun perlu perbaikan kecil. Sedangkat angket mahasiswa menyatakan validasi sebesar 81,65% dengan kriteria Sangat bagus, sangat efektif, sangat tuntas, sangat dapat digunakan tanpa perbaikan. AbstractIntegral is one of the concepts in mathematics that is very important. But based on research that students have difficulty in understanding the concepts of integral calculus. The purpose of this research is to develop video-assisted drill and practice learning on the YouTube channel in the integral calculus course for mathematics. The subjects in this study were prospective mathematics STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung. This type of research is a development study consisting of preliminary and formative evaluation. Data collection and analysis techniques include Walkthrough or expert validation, documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results obtained, validation of material experts stated 67.78%, media experts stated 68.75%, linguists stated 62% of all experts stated the criteria were good enough, effective enough, sufficiently complete, could be used but needed minor improvement. A set of student questionnaires stated a validation of 81.65% with the criteria Very good, very effective, very complete, very usable without improvement. But the video is still undergoing revisions in accordance with expert advice.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan mahasiswa dan guru dalam menyelesaikan soal pecahan, dan mengetahui penyebab sulitnya menyelesaikan soal pecahan tersebut. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 40 mahasiswa pendidikan matematika dan 30 guru matematika yang berasal dari kota/kabupaten di Propinsi Lampung. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes dan wawancara. Wawancara dilakukan untuk melengkapi data tentang penyebab sulitnya menyelesaikan masalah pecahan. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriftif. Hasil penelitian  menyimpulkan bahwa (1) kemampuan mahasiswa dan guru dalam menyelesaikan soal pecahan  berada pada level kurang, cukup, dan baik, dan  (2) penyebab sulitnya mahasiswa dan guru menyelesaikan soal pecahan tersebut adalah sulitnya menyelesaikan soal dengan variabel lebih banyak daripada persamaan, memisahkan variabel x dan y pada sisi berbeda, dan tidak mendapatkan solusi bulat (real/imaginer). Selain itu, diperoleh temuan penting pada penelitian ini, yaitu masih kelemahan/kekurangan dalam memodifikasi bentuk aljabar,  mencari berbagai alternatif penyelesaian soal, dan memisahkan dua variabel (x dan y). Kepada mahasiswa dan guru disarankan memahami konsep dan operasi pecahan lagi, serta melatih diri untuk kritis dan kreatif menyelesaikan soal pecahan. AbstractThis study aims to describe the ability of students and teachers to solve fraction problems, and find out why students or teachers are difficult to solve these problems. The research subjects consisted of 40 mathematics education students and 30 mathematics teachers from cities/districts in Lampung Province. Research data were collected through tests and interviews. Interview to complete the difficulty of solving the problem of fraction. The research data  were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study concluded that (1) the ability of students and teachers to solve fraction questions is at a level that is lacking, sufficient, and good, and (2)  the reason why it is difficult for students and teachers to solve the fraction problem is the difficulty of solving problems with more variables than quations,separating variables x and y on different sides, and not getting a round solution (real/imaginer). In addition, important findings obtained in this study, namely still weaknesses / deficiencies in modifying the form of algebra, looking for various alternative solutions to the problem, and separating the two variables (x and y). For students and teachers are advised to understand fraction concepts and operations again, and train themselves to critically and creatively solve fraction problems.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian adalah untuk mendiskripsikan alat-alat yang digunakan maupun aktivitas yang dilakukan dalam tradisi makan besaprah pada upacara pernikahan melayu di Kecamatan Sambas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif berupa etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sehingga alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, dan dokumen. Pemeriksaan keabsahan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa: (1) Alat yang digunakan dalam makan besaprah adalah: alas saprah, batel, pinggan saprah, piring laok, pinggan nase’, cawan, baki ae’, baki laok, sarbet dan berkaitan dengan konsep bangun datar, bangun ruang, pola bilangan, dan geometri. (2) Adapun aktivitas yang dilakukan dalam makan besaprah yaitu aktivitas persiapan sebelum makan besaprah yang dilakukan Melayu Sambas ada empat, yaitu merancap, bekaot, nyiapkan sajian saprahan, besurong.  AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe the tools used and the activities carried out in the tradition of eating besaprah at the Malay wedding ceremony in Sambas District. The method used in this research is qualitative research in the form of ethnography. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation so that the data collection tools used were observation sheets, interview sheets, and documents. The validity check in this study uses the source triangulation technique. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) The tools used in eating besaprah are alas saprah, batel, pinggan saprah, piring laok, pinggan nase’, cawan, baki ae’, baki laok, sarbet and are related to the concept geometry and number patterns. (2) As for the activities carried out in eating besaprah, there are four preparatory activities before eating besaprah by Sambas Melayu: merancap, bekaot, nyiapkan sajian saprahan, besurong.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa Berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar dan untuk mengetahui kualitas lembar kerja siswa (LKS) dilihat dari aspek kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas LKS yang dikembangkan meliputi angket ahli dan angket kepraktisan siswa. Angket ahli digunakan untuk mengukur kevalidan LKS sedangkan angket kepraktisan siswa digunakan untuk mengukur kepraktisan LKS. Produk penelitian berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa Berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kelas VIII SMP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas bahan ajar dilihat dari aspek kevalidan termasuk dalam kategori valid dengan skor rata-rata 3,08 berdasarkan penilaian tiga dosen ahli (ahli bahasa, materi dan media) dengan skor maksimal 4,00; dan kualitas bahan ajar dilihat dari aspek kepraktisan dikategorikan praktis dengan skor rata-rata 3,40 berdasarkan hasil respon siswa terhadap LKS. AbstractThis study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of Problem Based Learning Based Worksheets on the material to construct solid geometry and to determine the quality of student worksheet seen from the aspects of validity and practicality. This research is a development research that refers to the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects in this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau. The instruments were used to measure the quality of worksheets developed include expert questionnaires and student practicality questionnaires. Expert questionnaires were used to measure the validity of student worksheet while the student practicality questionnaire was used to measure the practicality of student worksheet. The research products are in the form of Problem Based Learning Based Student Worksheets in the VIII grade solid geometry material. The results of the study show that the quality of teaching materials seen from the validity aspect is included in the valid category with an average score of 3.08 based on the assessment of three expert lecturers (linguists, material and media) with a maximum score of 4.00; and the quality of teaching materials seen from the practicality aspect is categorized as practical with an average score of 3.40 based on the results of student responses to student worksheet.
