Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the performance of human resources in the factory of PT. Wijaya Karya Beton PPB Pasuruan. From all these factors will be searched the most dominant factors that influence and then proceed with corrective action. Research is needed to do to find out what are the factors that highly affect the performance of human resources, more expecialy on the human resources factory. The method used is SEM method and IPA analysis. SEM analysis is used to find out that are the factors that higher affect the performance of factory human resources. While the IPA analysis, used to determine the step of improving human resource management in the implementation of the next project. The sampling of the research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the entire population of permanent factory employees with 35 respondents. External factors of HR are known to be a factor that is very influential on the performance of factory HR, compared with internal factors. This is evident from the SEM analysis, where internal HR factors are more dominant in affecting the HR performance of the project, especially those associated with coworkers and resources of permanent employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai konfigurasi jembatan rangka baja dan optimasi profil terhadap kinerja jembatan rangka baja. Terdapat 4 tipe jembatan tipikal, yaitu warren truss, pratt truss, howe truss, dan K-truss, serta 4 tipe jembatan modifikasi dengan menggunakan profil siku 40.40.4 yang diuji dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan perbandingan antara berat jembatan dan lendutan yang dinyatakan dalam suatu effeciency ratio sehingga diketahui konfigurasi jembatan yang memberikan kuat, namun juga ekonomis. Selanjutnya dilakukan otimasi profil terhadap 8 tipe jembatan tersebut. Optimasi profil dilakukan terhadap batang-batang dengan perbandingan luas dan gaya dalam yang masih mencukupi untuk dioptimasi untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomis jembatan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis struktur yang dilakukan terhadap 4 konfigurasi tipe jembatan dasar, yaitu warren, pratt, howe, dan K-truss, diperoleh bahwa tipe K-truss menghasilkan lendutan terkecil, namun merupakan struktur jembatan rangka terberat diantara keempatnya, sedangkan tipe warren, pratt dan howe truss mempunyai berat yang sama, dengan lendutan yang bervariatif untuk beban yang sama. Lendutan yang terjadi dari berbagai tipe jembatan, modifikasi konfigurasi, serta optimasi terhadap tipe dan modifikasi konfigurasi diperoleh hasil bahwa konfigurasi 4 memberikan nilai lendutan terkecil, yaitu 2,556 mm, sedangkan optimasi dari tipe Pratt memberikan nilai lendutan terbesar, yaitu 3,632 mm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimasi dari tipe jembatan Howe memberikan nilai efficiency ratio terbesar, dimana perbandingan antara lendutan dan beratnya adalah 57,387.

Abstract

Kekurangan dan kualitas air bersih yang menurun menjadi dampak dari suatu daerah bencana. Penanganan yang ada selama ini dengan pengiriman truk tangki namun seringkali terkendala karena jumlah dan akses terbatas. Untuk itu perlu suatu alternatif yang lebih mudah, murah, terjangkau dan tepat guna. Salah satunya adalah teknologi membran dalam proses forward osmosis (FO). Penelitian awal ini untuk mengkaji kemungkinan pemakaian teknologi forward osmosis di daerah bencana ditinjau dari sisi hidrolika. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen di laboratorium dan analisis data dikaji dengan menggunakan konsep hidrolika dan analisis kimia. Hasilnya adalah kecepatan aliran optimum 0,25 m/detik yang menghasilkan bilangan Reynold 2039 pada air baku dan 2620 pada larutan penyeimbang dimana termasuk jenis aliran transisi atau turbulen rendah. Pada kecepatan ini fluks air yang dihasilkan lebih tinggi 30% dari kecepatan 0,17 m/detik yakni 8,4 L/m -jam. Untuk penyisihan kontaminan tertinggi dicapai pada kecepatan 0,25 m/detik dimana penyisihan nitrit, nitrat dan kalium permanganat secara berurutan adalah 51,22%, 95,11%, 97,03%.

Abstract

Remote monitoring using high-frequency Wifi telemetry communications media is a solution that enables to benefits from data transfer speed, remote communication, data security system and uses less energy. This study aims to establish a telemetry communication system of integrated sensor networks for the volcanic geographic area with some advantages such as the physical parameters of a volcano conditions accurately in real-time and online, the higher transmission speed, easily duplicated, and the flexibility for additional high sensors as a part of the decision making to determine the volcano status. Wifi telemetry 2.4GHz offers a high data transfer speed, the current supported equipment or modules have been reached a speed of 100Mbps. Range coverage’s performed on this test reached a maximum distance of 2 km line of sight, the data in the form of sensor data and moving images. The visual data expected is not in fully real-time, because there are 5 seconds delays from the production time. To use a shorter delay in order to the image goes faster, the main processor of raspberry experienced some over heat, and then it is not suitable for a long-term continuous use.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology can help people solve their problems faced every day. One of them is the problem in transportation sector related traffic accident data often occur in Jember. Many agencies and institutions that play a role, making the existing data to be different. Traffic accident report from police and patient report in emergency room from hospital is collected from 2012 to 2014. The result of this research is a good integration traffic accident database system between police and hospital using PostgreSQL, an information system about traffic accident recording with the location can be presented in digital map using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, and a recommendations to improve the accuracy of existing traffic accident data.

Abstract

Arterial, collector, and local are the hierarchy of road function in urban areas. Each of them is composed by primary and secondary road network. Certain road functions have certain criterion. Those criterion help in determining the type of design vehicle. Dimensionals and turning radius of the design vehicle are related to road geometric, i.e. the lane width and the widening of horizontal curve and intersection. The aim of this research is to check the suitability of road function criterion with the intersection geometric condition at Dipatiukur and Hasanuddin streets in Bandung. Those streets are chosen because they experience a change of the design vehicle dimension. Dipatiukur street has a secondary collector function, while Hasanuddin street has a secondary local function. Pd.T-18-2004-B, the guideline about a determination of road function classification in urban areas, stated that bus is not permitted to get through a local secondary road. In fact, DAMRI bus line 7 can get through Hasanuddin street. The result of checking the suitability of road function criterion can be seen from both design speed and the width of the road. If the vehicle designed is a car, it can be concluded that those two streets meet the requirements. Meanwhile, the result of checking the intersection geometric condition shows that the turning radius, entering sight distance, and the path for a bus are not appropriate with Pt.T 02-2002-B guideline about a Geometric Intersection Designing Procedure and a Geometric Designing Procedure for Inter-Urban Road Numb. 038/TBM/1997.

Abstract

The use of bending structure components becomes economical if the cross section of the beam follows the moment-diagram form. In this research is a simple beam with concentrated load in the middle of the span, so that the height of the beam is maximum in the middle of span, too. The research purpose is to obtain the bending capacity and to know the buckling behavior for optimum design. The results are compared with theoretical calculations, and ANSYS validation. Concluded of this research that the larger the tapered constant, the greater the bending capacity. The smaller the tapered angle the greater bending capacity. For the same tapered angle with higher h max, the bending capacity is also greater. The collapse occurring on this beam is the lateral torsional buckling.

Abstract

PT. X is one of the largest precast concrete industry in Indonesia, where to realize the vision, they continue to develop products and improve productivity performance by trying to improve quality of service, production process, and delivery product to customer with minimal cost and on time. To reach that purpose, needed Lean Construction method to eliminate waste and identify activities that can affect the products value-added.Research begins with description of the company's condition using Value Stream Mapping. Waste was identified by questionnaires, then analyzed by selection of mapping tools on Value Stream Analysis Tools and analyzed the root cause for suggestion of improvement. The results showed that the most critical waste that affectted productivity were defects (37.50%), unnecessary inventory (25%), and inappropiate processing (15%). Lead time required for overall of the process was 479.56 minutes and after improvement was reduced to 463.83 minutes by unification T.III / T.IV (fixing and tightening of the bolt plate) which reduced non-value added 15.73 minutes.

Abstract

Good contractor performance can provide satisfaction for owners. The research is to identify factors influencing owners perception in assessing contractor performance in UB. Method of analysis using Importance Performance Analysis and Customer Satisfaction Index. The results of the analysis show satisfaction of 75.22% and 71.69% means that the owner is satisfied with the performance of their contractor. Attributes that are prioritized for improvement/improvement include: completion of work in accordance with the contract; the filing of MC-0 is done before the work begins; ability of human resources in handling material delays/scarcity, workers crisis, design change, environmental security, etc .; as well as the speed & willingness to repair the damaged buildings around the project site

Abstract

Rawannya korban gempa bumi akibat keruntuhan dinding, konsep pembangunan ramah lingkungan, serta efisiensi kinerja merupakan tiga aspek yang menuntut adanya inovasi di bidang konstruksi. Sejalan dengan perkembangan teknologi, salah satu inovasi tersebut adalah panel jaring kawat baja tiga dimensi yang merupakan produk SIPs, sebagai alternatif material penyusun dinding. Penelitian kemudian dirancang menggunakan dua seri spesimen, yaitu M4 dengan tebal EPS 40 mm dan M8 dengan tebal 80 mm. Keduanya memiliki lebar dan tinggi dinding berturut-turut 600 mm dan 900 mm, dengan tebal mortar mutu K175 yang disemprotkan 35 mm pada kedua sisi dinding, yang kemudian diangkurkan pada balok sloof. Pemberian beban dilakukan secara siklik dengan protokol pengujian berdasarkan kontrol defleksi. Mengacu pada analisis eksperimental, diperoleh bahwa energi disipasi pada seri M4 hampir 20% lebih besar dibandingkan seri M8. Sedangkan rasio redaman ekuivalen pada kedua seri spesimen dinding panel relatif sama.
