Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the perception of lecturer on the implementation of remuneration system in Universitas Brawijaya, and to know the description of satisfaction on remuneration system being applied. In this study the selected sample is lecturer at 13 (thirteen) Faculty in Universitas Brawijaya. Sample selection technique using incidental sampling counted 94 lecturers. Technique of collecting data by using Questionnaire, and analyzed by using descriptive statistic analysis. The results of this study indicate that the perception of the lecturer on the remuneration system is generally quite good, but there are still some things that are still lacking, which is related to the understanding of the system of calculation based on the system points imposed due to the lack of socialization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh suasana toko yang terdiri dari bagian luar toko, bagian umum dalam toko, tata letak toko, dan pajangan dalam toko yang mana dapat menciptakan emosi serta akan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian.Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui survey pada 100 pengunjung Hypermart Malang Town Square Kota Malang. Metode analisis penelitian ini menggunakan alat analisis  Partial Least Square  (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bagian luar toko, tata letak toko, dan pajangan dalam toko memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap emosi, sedangkan bagian  umum dalam toko tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap emosi. Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa emosi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

The background of this research is the compensation policy of a company's  performance  helped  determine  the  direction  of  its  employees  to support the company's goals. Compensation is one of the important factors to be able to attract potential employees. Work motivation is also another factor that must be considered in addition to compensation for employees of the company to realize the goals of the organization, the following job satisfaction. Those three things are important factors in the company to support employee performance. This study aimed to examine the effect of compensation on work motivation, job satisfaction, and performance of employees on permanent employees of PT. Otsuka Indonesia in Lawang, Malang. Formulated several hypotheses of the study are (1) Is compensation a significant effect on work motivation? (2) Is compensation a  significant effect on job satisfaction? (3) Is  compensation a significant effect on the performance of the employee? (4) Is the work motivation have  a  significant  effect  on  job  satisfaction?  (5)  Is  a  significant  effect  on employee motivation employee performance ?, (6) Is job satisfaction significantly influence employee performance ?. This research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The technique of collecting data from questionnaires and interviews. Research methods to process the data using path analysis. Based on the results of the study found a significant effect of compensation on employee motivation PT. Otsuka Indonesia, there is a significant effect of compensation on employee job satisfaction of  PT.  Otsuka  Indonesia, there is  a  significant influence on  the performance of the compensation of employees of PT. Otsuka Indonesia, there is a significant effect of work motivation on employee job satisfaction of PT. Otsuka Indonesia, there is a significant influence on the performance of the work motivation of employees of PT. Otsuka Indonesia, and found no significant effect of job satisfaction on the performance of employees of PT. Otsuka Indonesia. Employees of PT. Otsuka Indonesia are already satisfied with the salary he got in a long time felt it would be a regular thing. So prone to reduced performance, because by working casual or work hard to remain earned his salary by the same amount. Employees of PT. Otsuka Indonesia also feel responsibility for the work carried out so far have not been entirely in accordance with his ability means that the principle of "the right man on the right place" has not been felt by the employees of PT. Otsuka Indonesia. Interesting work and the work has not felt like a hobby for PT. Otsuka Indonesia as yet incompatibility refers to the responsibility of the employee's ability to be felt.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian yaitu, (1) menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas dan likuiditas terhadap variabel struktur modal perusahaan, (2) untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas dan likuiditas terhadap variabel nilai perusahaan, (3) untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel struktur modal terhadap variabel nilai perusahaan. Populasi penelitian yang digunakan meliputi perusahaan non-bank yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Indeks LQ 45 selama tahun 2009 hingga tahun 2011 dengan total sampel berjumlah 14 perusahaan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil analisis data membuktikan bahwa (1) variabel ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, dan likuiditas berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel struktur modal, (2) variabel ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel nilai perusahaan, sedangkan variabel likuiditas diperoleh hasil yang tidak signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap variabel nilai perusahaan, (3) variabel struktur modal berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel nilai perusahaan.   Kata kunci: faktor mikro perusahaan, ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, likuiditas, struktur modal dan nilai perusahaan.   ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are (1) to analyze and explain the effect of following variables on company’s capital structure: company size, profitability, and liquidity (2) to analyze and explain the effect of following variables on company’s value: company size, profitability, and liquidity (3) to analyze and explain the effect of company’s capital structure on company’s value. The population used on this research including non-bank companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange Index LQ 45 in the period 2009-2011 with total sample of 14 companies. The data are analyzed by using Partial Least Square (PLS) method. Analysis result proves that (1) company size, profitability, and liquidity significantly affect company’s capital structure, (2) company size, profitability significantly affect company’s value, while liquidity variable does not bring any significant effect (3) capital structure significantly affect a company’s value. Abstract

Kinerja bank, apakah dalam kondisi sehat atau tidak, perlu adanya pengukuran dan penilaian tingkat kesehatan bank.  Konsekuensi dari tidak terpenuhinya persyaratan pada kinerja bank agar dapat disebut sebagai bank yang sehat, tidak hanya menyempitkan keleluasaan yang dimiliki oleh bank, namun akan berdampak pada tingkat kepercayaan nasabah untuk menanamkan dananya di bank. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada PT. BPR. Syariah Al-Mabrur Kabupaten Ponorogo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian penjelasan (Explanatory Research). Di dalam penelitian ini (1) diduga analisis CAMEL mampu menjelaskan tingkat kesehatan bank dan (2) diduga rasio permodalan mempunyai nilai tertinggi untuk mempengaruhi tingkat kesehatan bank. Untuk membuktikan hipotesis di atas, maka penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis CAMEL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan CAR 32,20%, KAP 2,10%, NPL  4,68%, ROA 5,45%, BOPO 77,10, dan LDR 89,99%. Sehingga bank mempunyai predikat kesehatan Cukup Baik. Sedangkan nilai bersih CAR sebesar 25 yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai CAR paling tinggi dibandingkan rasio lainnya. Abstract

This research is a special assessment against profit organization or state-owned PT. Bukit Asam Tbk with its main product is the product of Coal. The purpose of this paper is to determine the strengths and weaknesses (internal environment) in the PT. Bukit Asam Tbk in the midst of intense competition, to identify opportunities and threats (external environment) faced by PT. Bukit Asam Tbk amid intense competition, and analyze strategies - strategies that can be used by PT. Bukit Asam Tbk, which can effectively be used to increase sales of coal in order to increase market share amid the competition.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh dari Kesadaran Merek, Persepsi Kualitas, Asosiasi Merek dan Loyalitas Merek terhadap Minat Pembelian dan Proses Keputusan Pembelian. Penelitian ini termasuk explanatory research. Metode pengambilan data teknik survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampel sistematis acak (systematic random sampling), sehingga diperoleh sampel sebesar 100 orang responden. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Konsumen Smartphone merek BlackBerry yang mengunjungi Malang Plaza di Kota malang. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Path Analisys, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kesadaran Merek memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Minat Pembelian. 2) variabel Persepsi Kualitas memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Minat Pembelian. 3) variabel Asosiasi Merek memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Minat Pembelian. 4) variabel Loyalitas Merek memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Minat Pembelian. 5) variabel Kesadaran Merek tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Proses Keputusan Pembelian. 6) variabel Persepsi Kualitas  memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Proses Keputusan Pembelian. 7) variabel Asosiasi Merek memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Proses Keputusan Pembelian. 8) variabel Loyalitas Merek memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Proses Keputusan Pembelian. 9) variabel Minat Pembelian memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Proses Keputusan Pembelian.   Kata kunci: Kesadaran Merek, Persepsi Kualitas, Asosiasi Merek, Loyalitas Merek, Minat Pembelian, Proses Keputusan Pembelian.   The objective of this study is to analyze and explain the effect of Brand Awareness, Perceived Quality, Brand Association and Brand Loyalty toward Purchase Intention and Purchase Decision Process. The research belongs to explanatory research. The samples are taken by using systematic random sampling. The size of samples determined 100  people. Population in this study is  Customers BlackBerry Smartphone who visited Malang Plaza in Malang. The data is analyzed by using Path Analisys . The findings of this study show: 1) Brand Awareness significant effect on Purchase Intention. 2) Perceived Quality significant effect on Purchase Intention. 3) Brand Association significant effect on Purchase Intentio. 4) Brand Loyalty significant effect on Purchase Intention. 5) Brand Awareness did not bring any significant effect on Purchase Decision Process. 6) Perceived Quality significant effect on Purchase Decision Process. 7) Brand Association significant effect on Purchase Decision Proces. 8) Brand Loyalty significant effect on Purchase Decision Process. 9) Purchase Intention significant effect on Purchase Decision Process. Abstract

A-high qualified service is a crucial problem to be solved now. The change of service paradigm from bureaucrat-oriented to society oriented should be followed with a change in the working culture reflected in customer-oriented attitude and behavior.Customer want a cheaper, better, faster, newer, and simpler service could be realized. Service management is a responsibility of every level management and employee to improve customer satisfaction. There are four activities in service management to increase service quality : planning service that costumer needs; processing data; giving service; and respecting costumer complaint. Abstract

Service quality is crucial to the service providers to maintain markets in the long run. Good service quality will earn customers’ positive feedback. This research is conducted to find out and explain whether there a significant correlation between service quality, customers’ value, customers’ satisfaction and customers’ loyalty.  This  research  utilizes  Partial  Least  Square  (PLS)  technic analysis combined with hypothesis testing to examine the effect of the treatment to the determined variables. This research uses explanatory research with 60 sampel in health pediatric clinic Malang. Sampling technique used probability sampling with sistematic sampling approaching. The findings of the research indicate that service quality retains a significant effect to the customers’ value, customers’ satisfaction and customers’ loyality.  The customers’   value   correlates   significantly to the  customers’ satisfaction and customers’ loyality. The customers’ satisfaction correlates not significantly to the customers’ loyalty. Key words: services quality, customers’ value, satisfaction, customers’ loyalty, health pediatric clinic.Keywords: service quality, customer value, satisfaction, customer loyalty and child health clinics.ABSTRAKKualitas layanan merupakan kunci utama bagi suatu instansi jasa untuk mempertahankan pasar dalam  jangka waktu  yang  panjang.  Kualitas  layanan yang baik akan memberikan suatu nilai yang baik pula bagi pelanggan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh signifikan kualitas layanan terhadap nilai pelanggan, kepuasan pelanggan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis Partial Least Square (PLS) disertai dengan pengujian hipotesis untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel   penelitian   yang   telah   ditentukan.   Penelitian   menggunakan   jenis penelitian eksplanatori dengan sampel sebanyak 60 orang pada salah satu klinik kesehatan anak di kota Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probabilty sampling dengan pendekatan sistematic sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas layanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai pelanggan, kepuasan pelanggan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Nilai pelanggan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan.Kata kunci : kualitas layanan, nilai pelanggan, kepuasan, loyalitas pelanggan dan klinik kesehatan anak.

Abstract

The manufacturing companies ability in facing the economic fluctuation finally influence the policy making, including dividend policy. Beside that the ownership composition of manufacturing companies in Indonesia that mostly dominated by institution, make research to investigate the agency relation in the developed countries interesting. Agency theory was appears at the mature countries where the stock ownership is spread  and not as in Indonesia. At the manufacturing companies that listed at Indonesian Stock Exchange only few stockholders that have initiative and ability to control and monitor the management decision  and activities, then the agencies will emerge so the dividend become important that influence the company stocks price volatility. The research aimed at 1) to know the influence of  institutional ownership  to the dividend policy 2) to know the influence of free cash flow to the dividend policy 3) to know the influence of institutional ownership to the stock price volatility, 4) to know the influence of free cash flow to the stock price volatility 5) to know the influence of dividend policy to the stock price 6) to know the influence of institutional ownership to the stock price volatility through dividend policy 7) to know the influence of free cash flow to the stock price volatility through dividend policy. The research is explanatory research, explained the causal relation among researched variables through hypothesis testing. The researched samples were 12 manufacturing companies. Data analysis by path analysis. Result of the research 1) the institutional ownership directly influence the dividend policy 2) free cash flow directly influence dividend policy 3) institutional ownership directly not influence the stock price volatility 4) free cash flow directly influence the stock  price volatility 5) dividend policy directly influence the stock price volatility 6) dividend policy able to mediate the institutional ownership influence to the stock price volatility 7) dividend policy able to mediate the free cash flow influence to the stock price volatility. Keywords: institutional ownership, free cash flow, dividend policy, and stock price volatility.   Kemampuan perusahaan manufaktur dalam menghadapai fluktuasi ekonomi pada akhirnya berimbas dalam pembuatan kebijakan, termasuk kebijakan dividen. Selain itu, komposisi kepemilikan saham perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia yang masih banyak dikuasai oleh institusi, membuat hubungan agensi di perusahaan manufaktur menjadi menarik untuk diteliti. Hal ini dikarenakan teori agensi dibangun di negara-negara maju yang kepemilikan sahamnya bersifat menyebar, tidak seperti di Indonesia. Pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia hanya ada sedikit pemegang saham saja yang mempunyai insentif dan kemampuan untuk mengontrol dan memonitor keputusan dan aktivitas manajemen, maka masalah agensi akan muncul sehingga dividen menjadi penting yang akan berpengaruh terhadap volatilitas harga saham perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengetahui pengaruh kepemilikan institusional terhadap kebijakan dividen,  2)  mengetahui pengaruh arus kas bebas terhadap kebijakan dividen, 3) mengetahui pengaruh kepemilikan institusional terhadap volatilitas harga saham, 4) mengetahui pengaruh arus kas bebas terhadap volatilitas harga saham, 5) mengetahui pengaruh kebijakan dividen terhadap volatilitas harga saham, 6) mengetahui pengaruh kepemilikan institusional terhadap volatilitas harga saham melalui kebijakan dividen, 7) mengetahui pengaruh arus kas bebas terhadap volatilitas harga saham melalui kebijakan dividen. Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk penelitian penjelasan (explanatory research). Explanatory research adalah penelitian yang menjelaskan hubungan kausual antara variabel-variabel penelitian melalui pengujian hipotesis. Jumlah sampel yang diteliti adalah 12 perusahaan manufaktur. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Path Analysis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Kepemilikan institusional secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen. 2) Arus kas bebas secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen. 3) Kepemilikan institusional secara langsung tidak berpengaruh terhadap volatilitas harga saham. 4) Arus Kas bebas secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap volatilitas harga saham. 5) Kebijakan dividen secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap volatilitas harga saham. 6) Kebijakan dividen dapat memediasi pengaruh kepemilikan institusional terhadap volatilitas harga saham. 7) Kebijakan dividen dapat memediasi pengaruh arus kas bebas terhadap volatilitas harga saham.
