Abstract

Islamic Comic Learning Media is a media or tool developed to improve student learning outcomes. Comic media can be used in a two-way learning process, namely as a teaching aid and learning media that can be used by students themselves. The results of initial observations show that there is still limited media used in the learning process at MIN MIN 7 Banda Aceh, especially classes in class V. The objectives of this research are 1) To determine the process of developing Islamic Comics media to improve the learning outcomes of class V students at MIN 7 Banda Aceh, 2) To determine the feasibility of the Islamic Comic media being developed to improve the learning outcomes of class V students at MIN 7 Banda Aceh. The research method used is research and development (R&D) and uses the Borg and Gall theory through 7 stages. Data collection was carried out through a validation process and product testing. The result of this research was that the development of Islamic comic media was said to be suitable for use. This is based on the assessment that comic media as a whole has been declared feasible with a percentage result of 92.69% and can improve student learning outcomes at MIN 7 Banda Aceh based on the product test analysis obtained, namely tcount = while ttable = 1.711. So it can be concluded that tcount > ttable, which means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that students' final abilities are better than before using Islamic comic learning media. Keywords: Islamic Comic Media, Learning Results

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the advantages of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based learning at the elementary school level. ICT-based learning in elementary schools refers to the integration of information and communication technology in the learning process. The government has adopted initiatives to bring ICT into the basic education curriculum. The population in this study consisted of teachers, students and related parties at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Maguwoharjo 1, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The use of ICT allows wider access to distance learning, increases student learning motivation, makes it easier to understand material, and facilitates independent learning. Apart from that, teachers also find it easy to convey lesson material and minimize their shortcomings in coordinating the class. The use of ICT also provides easier access to learning resources, enriches learning, and facilitates the creation of important documents.Teachers need to address the challenges of technical preparation, device and internet accessibility, and changes in teaching methods. Schools must face the challenges of investment in ICT infrastructure, staff and teacher training, as well as unstable electricity issues. In facing these challenges, support from schools, teachers and other interested parties is very important to ensure the successful implementation of ICT-based learning. Keywords: Advantages, challenges, ICT, elementary school

Abstract

Education is an effort to develop a nation to be better in order to create the formation of individuals who have an ethical and quality spirit. The quality of education starts from school, as formal education institutions for the community to improve the quality of education by applying the National Education Standards (NES). NES is a minimum requirement standard for the education system in all regions of Indonesia including content standards, assessment standards, management standards, financing standards, process standards, infrastructure standards, graduate competency standards, educators and education staff standards. This aim is to determine the success of implementing NES at Kampung Krueng Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach with primary data sources, namely observation and interviews, then secondary data is collected from reading books, journals, mass media and written documents. The results of the study show that several studies on the success of the NES scope have not been classified as effective and efficient because some standards have not been met, there are standards that already meet the NES well but need effort to be better such as the standards of educators and education staff during the teaching and learning process for students trying to bring a comfortable atmosphere so that students are enthusiastic about learning and those that are still not supportive, namely the standard of facilities and infrastructure which is still minimal in terms of budget and goods by the Department of Education. Keywords:  Application, National Education Standards, Primary School

Abstract

Conditions at SD N 02 Bringin show low critical thinking skills which have an impact on low student learning outcomes in grade 5 mathematics learning. This is due to the lack of teacher variation in using appropriate learning models so that learning is less attractive to students' curiosity. Based on these conditions, researchers conducted research that aimed to describe the syntax of the 3 CM learning model Learning and with this model it can improve critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes of 5th grade students of SD N Bringin 02. The results showed that critical thinking skills in action I got an average of 76% with the critical category, in action II the average critical thinking skills increased to 88% with very critical category. For learning outcomes in action I as many as 11 students with a percentage of 46% have received a complete score, and as many as 13 students with a percentage of 54% have not completed. In action II there was an increase, 21 students with a percentage of 87% were declared complete and the remaining 3 students with a percentage of 13% were declared incomplete. Based on the results of research conducted at SD Negeri Bringin 02 for grade 5 by applying the 3 CM model Learning assisted by concrete media, especially in mathematics, is proven to be able to improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes

Abstract

The reading ability of beginner students at SD Negeri Lamklat is still low. In a reading lesson, they can name the letters of the alphabet in the reading sequence from A to Z. However, if the letters are scrambled, most students cannot remember how to pronounce the letters correctly. Apart from that, their pronunciation and intonation when reading are also inappropriate. Therefore, this research aims to determine the influence of the Picture and Picture learning model to improve the beginning reading skills of grade I students at SD Negeri Lamklat, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. The research method used is the One Group Pre-test-Post-test Design of Pre-Experiment. The sample of this study was 22 grade 1 students. An oral pre-test and post-test were used to collect the data. Completion of the initial reading ability test results is carried out using statistical tests with a significance level of 0.05 and using the percentage formula. The results of the research show that the use of pictures and pictures influences the students' ability. After testing, it is found that t-test = 4.395 and t-table = 1.721. Thus, t-test ≥ t-table or 4.395 > 1.721. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypothesis in this research (Ha) is accepted. In addition, the average score for the pre-test was 51.363 and the post-test was 91.363. Thus, the finding shows that there is an impact of the use of the Picture and Picture learning model in developing the initial reading ability of the students.

Abstract

The low level of student motivation in studying the water cycle has resulted in reduced instructional effectiveness. This factor is attributed to the limited utilization of technology by teachers to enhance the appeal of the learning process, with teachers predominantly relying on textbooks as the primary instructional resource. The research aims to evaluate the validity and practicality of animated video media as a supplementary tool for understanding the subject matter and fostering learning motivation, specifically concerning the water cycle topic for 5th- grade elementary school students. Data were obtained through the ADDIE model phases (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research findings indicated that the material presented in the instructional videos exhibits a remarkably high level of suitability for delivery to students, with an average validation percentage of 100% by subject matter expert and 95,14% by media expert. Additionally, an evaluation of the practicality of this media revealed an average percentage of 89% from student feedback and 100% from teacher assessment. Consequently, it can be inferred that this animated video product is both valid and practical for utilization within the realm of educational instruction. Keywords: learning media, animated video, water cycle.
