Abstract

The worsening sales trend of Jepara furniture exporters as a result of substandard marketing performance is the driving force for this research. Currently, a company's ability to improve its marketing performance is very important because it shows how well the company can meet its sales targets in the market. An effective method for identifying problems that impact a company's competitiveness and sustainability is to examine its marketing performance and the factors that influence that marketing performance. This study shows market sensing capabilities, dynamic capabilities, and new product development that can be used by Jepara furniture exporters to improve their marketing performance. This survey involved 60 respondents and used quantitative techniques. Purposive sampling is used in the sampling procedure. The research utilizes multiple linear regression analysis for data examination. Research findings show that market sensing capability, dynamic capabilities, and new product development all influence marketing performance. In this research, expanding market sensing capabilities, dynamic capabilities and new product development are recommended for Jepara furniture export companies. Thus, the furniture export business in Jepara will have better marketing performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate and elucidate the impact of employee commitment and motivation. The impact of work-related stress on the productivity of production staff at a Central Java cement company. The employed research methodology is quantitative in nature, placing emphasis on the analysis of numerical data (numbers) through the application of statistical methods. The sampling method employs cluster random sampling with a probability sampling component. Through the distribution of questionnaires, gather data, which will subsequently be analyzed using SPSS software. The data utilized in this study comprises subject data, which is collected from respondents via questionnaires that were disseminated. In order to ascertain the impact of the dependent variable, work performance, on the independent variables of motivation, employee commitment, and work stress, multiple linear regression was applied to the data. A total of 100 people were included in the research sample. Workers in the production department of a cement firm in Central Java were found to be significantly more productive when they were motivated and committed to their job. Abstract

This study explores the compliance of taxpayers in Indonesia from 2013 to 2023 by mapping research published in national scientific journals. The research methodology involves a thorough literature review, examining articles with the keyword "taxpayer compliance" on scientific journal websites. The population consists of articles on taxpayer compliance, and the sample is selected based on criteria such as keyword relevance, completeness, clarity, and online accessibilityThe mapping of journal names aims to categorize articles, facilitating information on journal consistency in publishing content related to taxpayer compliance. The findings reveal continuous publications on taxpayer compliance in scientific journals throughout the years, with 2017 dominating the articles. E-Jurnal Akuntansi emerges as the most prolific journal in publishing these articles. The prevalent research method is quantitative, with awareness of taxpayers being the most commonly studied variable. Implications of the study include recognizing E-Jurnal Akuntansi and Jurnal Akuntansi as promising channels for future researchers and the potential for more varied and in-depth results through the use of qualitative methods. The study also highlights the predominance of primary data sources and suggests the exploration of alternative sources such as observation and interviews for richer and more realistic data.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the impact of various corporate governance and financial factors—specifically company size, leverage as indicated by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), the presence of an independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and voluntary disclosure—on the cost of equity capital in transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from 2019 to 2023. The research adopts a purposive sampling technique to select relevant companies, focusing on a population of 37 firms within this sector over the specified timeframe. Data analysis is conducted using both descriptive and verificative approaches, with hypothesis testing carried out through multiple linear regression analysis to determine the relationships between these variables and the cost of equity capitalThe results of the study reveal that company size exerts a significant partial influence on the cost of equity capital, indicating that larger companies may benefit from lower equity costs. In contrast, DER, the independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and voluntary disclosure, when considered individually, do not significantly affect the cost of equity capital. However, when these variables are considered together, they collectively exert a significant influence on the cost of equity capital. These findings provide critical insights for corporate management and investors, emphasizing the need to consider both company size and the combined effect of governance and ownership structures when assessing the cost of equity financing in the transportation and logistics industry.  Keywords: Company Size, Leverage, Independent Board of Commissioners, Managerial Ownership, Institutional Ownership, Voluntary Disclosure, and Cost of Equity Capital.
