The purpose of this research is to know the solid waste volume which produced by society on Tavanjuka MasHousing and to determine the way to ménage solid waste. Collecting data in this research is done byinterview and direct measuring of solid waste volume on Tavanjuka Mas Housing. This research used 65numbers of samples to determine solid waste volume, then it are analyzed with simple linear regression usedMicrosoft Office Excel and geometric method to predict inhabitant sum. From the research result, theaverage solid waste volume produced by society on Tavanjuka Mas Housing1,3599 m3/day, which consist oforganic solid waste 0,920 m3/day and inorganic solid waste 0,4399 m3/day, with organic solid wastepercentage 67,72 % and inorganic solid waste percentage 32,28 %. Solid waste management on TavanjukaMas Housing can be done with sorting way, provision of place and then increasing of facilities like servicetransport of motor wagon with capacity 1 m3 as many 1 unit and the building of while place of exile withcapacity 1m3 for organic solid waste as many 2 units and inorganic solid waste as many 1 unit

Limited access to Public Transport (PT) to serve the needs of PT urban population will lead to the emergence of alternative PT. Limited access PT is partly due to the limited size of the geometric road and thelimited range of PT services. This generally occurs in the cities of Indonesia and one of its effects is theemergence of alternative public transport passengers is ojek motorcycles. Ojek Motorcycle(MC) appears dueto user response to the needs of PT and tends to consumer increases in Indonesian cities. How the user'sperception of the ojek MC service and whether the ojek MC still needed as part of the urban public transportpassenger? This study aims to investigate the factors that affect the quality of service and loyalty to the ofMC ojek transport as  urban passenger public transport. Survey has been done in Bandung city and datacollection by questionnaires and interviews directly to the user. The analysis was done with the approach ofthe causal relationship between the factors that influence with method of structural equation modeling(SEM).The study shows that the convenience factor/flexibility, time, Accessibility, safety and driver attitudes providea strong reflection to service quality of ojek MC. Factors pollution caused by the operation of ojek MC doesnot reflect the quality of service. While the indicators: it would continue the use of modes and wouldrecommend the use of other modes to give a good reflection of the loyalty. This study examines in depth about the software requirements to build a public information service system. Inprinciple, this research aims is to develop a plan needs public information service system that can assist andaccelerate the process of public service and reduce errors so that the information will result in services that can beaccounted for. This paper discuss about effectiveness of heat exchanger in the cooling system of hydropower generator.Data obtained from generator cooled PLTA at Sulewana, Poso. The type of heat exchanger is compact heatexchanger, with dimensions: : SL=0.021 m, SD=0.029 m, ST=0.04 m, L=1.5 m, DTubing=0.019m. The resultshows that air temperature continues to decrease after passing through the cooler. Air temperature duringthe first pass through to the cooler is 75°C and continues to decline as a generator that drives the movementof air through the cooler, and the cooling water continues to rise from the initial temperature of 28oC to34oC. One cause of the disruption of traffic on urban road are pedestrian crossing the street. The bridge crossing is one of the transportation infrastructure which aims to minimize traffic discruption by pedestrian crossing. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of utilization and factors that effect the use of the pedestrian bridge in front of Mall Tatura, Palu city. The research data includes the volume of pedestrians using the bridge crossing and pedestrian volume arenot using pedestrians bridge crossing. Data was collected in the peakhours on weekdays and outside the working day. The data analysis using statistical methods includes Cronbach’s Alpha Test, Relative RankIndex Test and Correlation Spearman Rank Testing. The result of this study is to found that the utilization rate of the pedestrian bridge in front of the Mall Tatura, Palu city is not very helpful.  Factors effecting the use of pedestrian bridge in the study area includes geometric/dimensional of bridge crossing, distance to/from the bus stop, the texture of the floor, the travel time to/from the centre of activity, travel time to/from the bus stop infrastructure, and lighting on the bridge crossing.

Bamboo use in civil engineering building has shown increasing demand whetter for in structural or non structural means. On the other hand, bamboo has not been optimally exploted althougth research results have shown that bamboo has strength and better performance compared to other building materials. This research was aimed to reveat the physical and mechanical properties bamboo. Preliminary research was made the physical and mechanical properties specimen bamboo, which following the ISO 1329-1975 standard test method. The result experiment showed that bamboo specific gravity 0,745 gr/cm3 of mainland area and 0,614 gr/cm3 for mountain area. One cause of the poor quality of some concrete blocks in the city of Palu is the lack of cement used in the concrete block. This is caused by the high price of cement so that income of concrete blocks maker decreases. To find a way out of these problems, a lot of waste material that can be used in the manufacture of concrete block, one of which is coal fly ash. The purpose of this activity is to introduce the use of coal fly ash in the manufacture of concrete block to business partners of  the concrete block makers in Palu city. The purpose of this activity is to make concrete block business group partners can increase their income without compromising quality concrete block produced.Activity counseling / coaching and mentoring manufacturing concrete block using coal fly ash has been done to the concrete block makers. To facilitate the implementation of the concrete block-making, each made the graduated graduated barrel of sand, cement and coal fly ash graduated. To facilitate the implementation of the concrete block-making, made barrel graduated ie graduated sand, cement and coal fly ash graduated. The composition of the mixture is introduced to the partners is 0.75 sacks of cement: 0.25 sacks of coal fly ash and ± 300 kg of sand or 1 cement barrel dose: 1  coal fly ash barrel dose and 2  sand barrels doses. The results of this activity is to get that quality of concrete blocks produced by using coal fly ash strongly increased compressive strength but does not increase the quality of concrete blocks (Remain quality II). This activity was also found that any use of the three sacks of cement will result in an additional gain of ± 130 concrete blocks. Nowadays, concrete construction even it small, medium and large scale; normally use natural sand (sand river) as fine aggregate and artificial aggregate from crushed stone as coarse aggregate; and it is rarely found concrete mix which consist of both natural fine and coarse aggregates because bond capacity between natural coarse aggregate and cement paste lower than between artificial coarse aggregate and cement paste.This research aims to know the performance of natural coarse aggregate, which was used for high performance concrete (HPC) with use admixture. Tests were carried out by using specimens of concrete cube with size of 15 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm and vary of water cement ratio and percentage of admixture CONPLAST SP – 420 using both natural and artificial coarse aggregate.The results of this research show that although natural coarse aggregate replaced by 50 % with artificial coarse aggregate; the resulted concrete compression strength not too significant compare to concrete mix use natural coarse aggregate; furthermore, replace 50 % artificial coarse aggregate with natural aggregate can reduce the cost of concrete production
