Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the behavior of students towards the social media they have. Where for the previous research there were more who discussed the influence of social media on consumer behavior, but in this study examined the opposite. The samples taken in this study were active students aged 18-23 years. This research is a qualitative research by conducting in-depth interviews. The results obtained are that student behavior towards social media is still reasonable because students' mindset of the negative impact of social media is very understandable but students cannot deny that when they study they often take the time to open social media due to throwing away their boredom and habits. or to seek information for the sake of smooth learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect lecturer’s competence, lecturer’s work discipline and organization’s support toward lecturer’s professional development in the faculty of economics Pamulang University. This research approach using quantitative research methods with observation method structured interviews and questionnaires closed. The population in this research is a lecturer Pamulang University economics faculty, while the sampling technique used is proporsionale stratified random sampling. The results indicate that there is positive and significant correlation between lecturer’s  competence toward lecturer’s professional development, there is positive and significant correlation between lecturer’s work discipline toward lecturer’s professional development, there is positive and significant correlation between organization’s support toward lecturer’s professional development, and there is positive and significant correlation between the lecturers competence, lecturer’s work discipline and organization’s support together toward lecturer’s professional development. So can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect between of  lecturer’s competence, of lecturer’s work discipline and organization’s support toward lecturer’s professional development in the faculty of economics Pamulang University.

Abstract

Today the need for health is in need for all people, health has become a basic necessity, everyone will try to do various things so that his health can be guaranteed, Health is a human right and one of the elements of welfare that must be realized in accordance with the ideals the ideals of the Indonesian nation. Health is a fundamental right of every individual and all citizens are entitled to health care. Therefore, it is necessary to manage the health control in terms of cost and quality. This study aims to examine whether timeliness, apology, redress, facilitation, credibility, and attentiveness affect customer satisfaction. The number of samples in this study were 125 respondents with Acidental sampling technique. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis technique. The result of data analysis shows that timeliness, apology, facilitation, credibility, and attentiveness have positive effect on customer satisfaction while redress variable has no significant effect on customer satisfaction. Based on the determinant coefficient test (R2) in the known Adjusted R2 of 0.745 it shows that the dependent variable of customer satisfaction can be explained by independent variables consisting of timeliness, apology, redress, facilitation, credibility and attentiveness of 75% while the remaining 25% by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

This study is to measure, describe, and compare the level quality of university in Banten and determine strategies for improving overall quality and each university using importance performance analysis. The object in this study was eight hundred fifty students from eight universities in five regions of Banten. This research mehod use survey quesionnaires which analyzed statistik deskriptif, t-test, Chi-Square tests, Factor Analysis and Importance Performance Analysis.

Abstract

This research aims at a). To know the factors that influence the motivation of employee work in the Human Resources Development Agency of Bengkulu Province. b) to be aware of factors that affect the level of individual characteristics with the motivation level of employee work. c). To determine the presence of factors that affect the level of occupational characteristics with the motivation level of employee work. D). To determine the factors that affect the characteristics of the working situation with the motivation of employee work. This research is a descriptive research analysis with a quantitative approach implemented by providing a list of questions relating to the research issues to the respondents. The Data analysis used in this study is a double linear regression analysis. The results showed that the individual characteristics, occupational characteristics, occupational situation characteristics positively and significantly affect the work motivation of the Human resources Development Agency. Where the motivation to increase the work of participants is 52% while the remaining 48% is influenced by other factors outside the study.

Abstract

This study examines volatility spillover effects from USA and Japanese to the ASEAN-5 equity markets and volatility spillover among the ASEAN-5 equity markets in the period January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2013. The whole time-period is divided into 3 periods as related to the world financial and economic crisis of 2008-2009, namely : pre-crisis, crisis and post-crisis. Bivariate GARCH (1,1) – FULL BEKK model is employed to simultaneously estimate the conditional variance between 7 different indexes. The following are the results of empirical research : The first, volatility spillover has a different nature and magnitude depending on the period of the pre crisis, crisis and post-crisis. Second, there is evidence that in the pre-crisis period, there are no volatility spillover among the ASEAN-5 stock markets, but the different results shown in the crisis and post-crisis period, during this period of volatility spillover occurs between the ASEAN-5 markets, but in times of crisis the magnitude is larger than the post-crisis. Internal volatility spillover occurs among ASEAN-5 is one-way (unidirectional). Philippine capital market is resistant to the crisis and easily affected by Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore stock market. While in the post-crisis, Indonesian stock market  is easily affected by the stock market turmoil that occurred in Singapore and Thailand stock market. Third, there is evidence of volatility spillover from the U.S. and Japan to the ASEAN-5 markets. At the time of pre-crisis period, the Japanese market volatility spillover effect is greater than the American market. While in times of crisis and post-crisis, the U.S. market gives greater influence than the Japanese market. Four, the external relationship between U.S, Japan and the ASEAN-5 markets become more complex during the post-crisis. Five, the countries that have large spillover volatility is influenced by trade and FDI in the form of shares. The tendency is, the higher the trade relations and investor funds were invested in these countries the higher the dependence of the country with partner countries.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the extent of the influence of work, promotion, co-workers, superiors and work environment on employee work productivity at PT. PRIMISSIMA MEDARI SLEMAN Yogyakarta. Validity and reliability tests show that all question items are from work variables (X_1), promotions (X_2), coworkers (X_3), supervisors (X_4) and work environment (X_5), all valid and reliable questions, t value calculated jobs 1.987 , the value of promotion t count is 2.326, the value of the worker's t count is 4,870, the value of the t count of the boss is 7,597 and the value of the t count of work environment is 2,363 which all shows greater than t table 1,984, so this hypothesis states that work (X_1), promotion (X_2) , coworkers (X_3), superiors (X_4) and work environment (X_5) partially positive effect on employee work productivity at. PT. PRIMISSIMA MEDARI SLEMAN Yogyakarta. F count is 142,920 with a significance value of 0,000 so that the value of F count> F table or 142,920> 2.46 or the level of significance (sig) 0,000 <0.05, then it can be concluded that simultaneously (together) between work (X_1), promotion (X_2 ), coworkers (X_3), superiors (X_4) and work environment (X_5), towards work productivity of employees at PT. PRIMISSIMA MEDARI SLEMAN Yogyakarta and the results of the coefficient of determination show that work (X_1), promotion (X_2), coworkers (X_3), boss (X_4) and work environment (X_5) contribute 88, 4% to Employee Productivity at PT. PRIMISSIMA MEDARI SLEMAN Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This research is an explanatory research that highlights the relationship between research variables and testing hypotheses that have been formulated previoustly by using a sample of 100 people in 4-wheeled vehicle users who often use toll road facilities in the Banten area. Multiple linear regression analysis was used in analyzing the relationship of variables in the study.Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the effectiveness of the Banten e-toll area, the quality of toll services and the satisfaction of customers of toll road users are considered to be quite good by respondents. The results of partial regression analysis found that the effectiveness of e-toll has significant effect on customer satisfaction at 0.502, while the quality of toll service has a significant effect of 0.528. Simultaneoustly the e-toll effectiveness and service quality have a significant influence.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effect of liquidity, profitability, capital structure to the company's value in the mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 until 2014. The population of this research is mining coal mining sub-sector, sub-sector of crude petroleum and natural gas production, sub-sector of metal and mineral mining, and sub-sectors land / stone quarrying. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling method so acquired 7 companies which qualify as samples. This study uses analysis tools Partial Least Square (PLS). PLS is one of the statistical methods SEM-based variant that serves to determine the effect of exogenous variables consisting of proxies current ratio, quick ratio, ROA, ROE on capital structure and corporate value. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence on the variables of liquidity, profitability of the capital structure. And there is an influence on the profitability of the company's value. While the liquidity variables to the value of the company does not have a significant effect. Liquidity and profitability through capital structure to the value of the company does not have a significant effect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Struktur Kepemilikan yang diproksikan dengan Kepemilikan Institusional terhadap nilai perusahaan yang diproksikan dengan Rasio Tobin’s Q dengan Return On asset sebagai variabel intervening. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan sektor industri dasar dan kimia yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2012-2017. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 22 perusahaan, dengan menggunakan metode Purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian (1) institusional ownership memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan (Tobin’s Q). (2) institusional ownership memiliki pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap return on asset. (3) return on asset memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. (4) return on asset  tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh institusional ownership terhadap nilai perusahaan (Tobins Q).
