Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in rice farming production of Inpari 32, Ir 64 and Cigelis varieties in the study area, to analyze the differences in rice farming acceptance of Inpari 32, Ir 64 and Cigelis varieties in the study area, to analyze the differences in income of Inpari 32 rice field rice farming, Ir 64 and Cigelis in the study area, analyzed whether the rice cultivation of Inpari 32, Ir 64 and Cigelis varieties was feasible from the ratio of revenue and cost (R / C) in the study area. This research was conducted in Tanah Miring District, Merauke Regency. The location selection was done purposively. The population was 4,770 farmers and the sampling was done by using purposive method, 5% of the population was taken, in order to obtain a sample of 128 farmers. The analysis technique used in this research is to use cost, revenue, income, and feasibility analysis. The results show that there are differences in production, acceptance and income of Inpari 32, Ir 64 and Cigelis rice fields with an average land area of 1.5 ha. With the R / C of the Inpari 32 variety of 3.05 BEP, the production was 995 kg and the BEP was 2.463 / kg. The R / C of the Ir 64 variety was 2.59 with a BEP of production of 1.055 kg and a BEP of 2,930 / kg and the R / C of the Cigelis variety of 2.50 with a production BEP of 1,036 kg and a BEP of 3,312 / kg.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on increasing protein levels in cassava skin through the fermentation process. Cassava skin is an organic waste that if not handled well feared can cause environmental pollution. The purpose of the research to reduce waste, also make use of cassava skin to have a value. The phase of the research is the waste of cassava skin cleaned from the skin of Ari then washed and diced with a length of ± 1 cm. After that analyzed pH, moisture content, and protein content using micro method Kjehdhal. From the results of the analysis, obtained fermentation data is done with pH 6 and water content of 81.6%. Protein levels of fermentation from day 2 to 7th day. Obtained using microanalysis Kjehdhal participated 1.52%; 2.27%; 6.93%; 7.62%; 3.79%; 0.57%. From this research can be concluded that the fermentation of cassava skin can increase protein levels and can be used as feed additives.

Abstract

Punagaya waters are one of the seaweed cultivation locations in Jeneponto Regency. In 2005, a power plant was built at that location. This development has raised concerns, especially for seaweed farmers in the area. The sustainability of seaweed cultivation and production in Punagaya waters is primarily determined by the water quality and several other related aspects. The purpose of this study was to find information on the physical and chemical conditions of Punagaya waters used for seaweed cultivation after the construction of the power plant (PLTU) and the possibility of contamination of Plumbum (Pb) and Cadmium (Cd). Samples for physical and chemical measurements of seawater were carried out in-situ at the study site, while the chemical analysis of water in the form of nitrate, phosphate, plumbum (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) was carried out in the laboratory. The results showed that the physical and chemical conditions of the Punagaya waters used for seaweed cultivation after the PLTU construction were still within the permissible limits for seaweed cultivation. However, it needs to be aware of the high-temperature value. The value of heavy metals is still in the lower limit for cultivation for seaweed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving several organic fertilizer formulations to the intensity of soybean leaf rust disease and its production, which in turn can increase farmers' income in this area. The study was conducted using randomized block design (RBD) with 3 replications. The treatments were husk ash, compost, chicken manure, and goat manure. The parameters observed included leaf rust disease intensity, disease progression rate, plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, weight of 100 seeds and weight of seeds per plot. Data analysis was performed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), if the treatment has a significant effect, it is followed by the DMRT test at the 95% level. The result showed that (1) the fertilizer formulation given caused different responses to the parameters of soybean rust disease intensity, plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, weight per 100 seeds and weight of seeds per plot, (2) The best fertilizer for controlling soybean leaf rust disease is goat manure, and (3) the best fertilizer formulation to produce production is abusekam with a production of 2156.66 gr / plot (equivalent to 3.594 tons / ha)

Abstract

Environmental degradation and the utilization of excess are very influential in a reduction of thepotential of Turbinidae Gastropod Resources. Morphology of shells can changes due to adaptation tothe surrounding environment resulting in misidentification. This study aims to analyze morphology andmolecular character of Turbinidae. Morphometric analysis is done by comparing the measureddimensions of the shell, while the molecular identification is done by using the DNA barcoding usingCOI gene to species identification. The results showed a comparison of growth between thedimensions shell of the Lunella sp. showed the negative allometric and positive allometric. Characterof shell growth between dimensions of the Lunella sp. shows the negative allometric and positiveallometric. Molecular analysis identified Turbinidae was found Lunella sp. its similar to DNAsequence Lunella sp. Sulawesi. The molecular analysis identifies Turbinidae found is Lunella sp. withsimilarities of 98.41 and 98.31%. The environmental conditions can affect change the morphology andgenetic of Turbinidae. DNA barcoding has been successful to identify Turbinidae gastropods.

Abstract

One of the efforts that can be made to increase the yield of red chili plants is by providing nutrients, one of which is the supply of organic fertilizers such as poration. Poration is fermented organic matter using bioactivators / bio-fertilizers M-Bio which functions to fertilize the soil and increase plant growth and yield. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best poration dose for palm waste and chicken manure for growth and yield of red chilies. This research was conducted from July to December 2020, at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Siliwangi University, Mugarsari Village, Tamansari District, Tasikmalaya City with an altitude of 374 meters above sea level. This research was conducted with an experimental method using a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 repetitions. The results of this study indicate that the measurement of poration of palm waste and chicken manure has an effect on the growth and yield of chili plants (Capsicum annuum L.).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the growth and condition factors of Snakehead fish (Channa striata Bloch, 1793) caught in the waters of the Wasur swamp, Merauke district. The research was conducted in September-November 2020 in the Wasur swamp waters. The method used is descriptive method with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis used was the long-weight relationship data to determine the growth pattern of snakehead fish and condition factors. The results of the research at the two stations in September and October showed the same growth pattern, namely negative issometric and allometric, while in November station I was allometric negative and station II was issometric. The value of the condition factor at the two stations in September, October and November ranged from 1.003 to 1.006, including in the not fat category.
