Abstract

Learning by a teacher needs touches all dimensions of humanity that includes spirit, mind, heart, passion and physical balanced. Based on these dimensions, namely: the soul (transcendent must be turned on), reasonable (rational must be taught), heart (surrender must be strengthened), lust (self-fulfillment to be controlled), and physically (ready to act should be actualized), needs to be grown through the learning model TADZKIROH (Tunjukan teladan, Arahkan, Dorongan, Zakiyah (Kesucian), Kontinuitas, Repetisi, Organisasikan,  Hati). So that the behavior reflects the faith and piety in the stage of primary school age can reflect as accustomed to have a prayer, always acts like respect for parents, teachers and friends used to run the religious orders, used to read and study the scriptures and also undertake activities that benefit the world hereafter.Keywords: teaching model, internalization, iman, taqwa, tadzkiroh.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of serious problems in the aspect of essay writing skill. The purpose of this study is to know the improvment of student activity and student learning outcomes of writing essay skill material at 5th grade students of SDN Panyingkiran III Kabupaten Sumedang second semester in academic year 2015/2016, using complete sentenselearning.The research method used is classroom action research. Data collected through observation and tests. The result of this study for student activity, on first cycle 48% of students got very good criteria, second cycle 80% and third cycle 96%. For student learning outcomes, on first cycle just 40% students who pass the evaluation, second cycle 72% and third cycle 92%. Therefore, the process and learning outcomes got increased by using complete sentense on writing essay skill based experience.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to 1) describe in depth the megalithic relics of Sekala Brak sites; and 2) to describe the design of local history learning materials based on megaliths relic of Sekala Brak. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Techniques used in data collection are techniques of observation, documentation, and literature study. Analysis of the data presented descriptively, that is to articulate and describe the findings of the data according to the problems studied. The results showed that: 1) The archeological relic found in the megalithic sites of West Lampung consisting of Situs Batu Brak, Batu Jagur, Megalitik Telaga Mukmin, Megalitik Batu Kepapang, Batu Bertulis (Prasasti Hujung Langit), Batu Tameng, Batu Jaya, Batu Bertulis Belalau, Batu Spadu/Batu Putri, Batu Nakka/Batu Tegak, dan Situs Batu Raja; 2) Lampung local history materials that can be implemented in elementary school learning include: a) Customs, b) Traditional arts (dance, rupa / craft, music), c) Historic places, d) Habits and philosophy of life, e) The relationship of kinship, f) folklore, g) The system of government (Kingdom, sultanate, keratuan), h) Heroes and heroism, i) Language, j) of local historical events of the colonial era, k) local historical events independence era, l) local historical events post-independence era, m) local history of contemporary events, and n) Historiography Lampung in the media. Keywords: megalithic Site Sekal Brak, local history learning materials, elementary school.

Abstract

Benefits of mathematics are to equip students with the ability to think logically, analytical, systematically, critically, and creatively, as well as the ability to cooperate. Based on observations in elementary school, there are 40% of students have not reached KKM and students have lack of critical abilities to understand math problems, and they have low activity of the study. One of models that can be applied is Two Stay Two Stray. The study used True Experimental Design with Posttest-Only Control Design. The population in this study was all fifth grade students of SD Negeri Semarang Rejosari 03. Data of critical thinking skills of the students in average on test of critical thinking skills mastery was 3.31 ≥ 2.67, it can be said to have a complete description. The conclusion is a model of Two Stay Two Stray being effective for critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students in SD Negeri Rejosari 03 Semarang.Keywords: two stay two stray model, critical thinking ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effect of SQ3R method to  the student skimming ability in the elementary school grade V.  SQ3R  method is a method of reading, which consists of five steps activities which  students have to do that is predicted, ask questions, read, respond to questions, and revisit. This research is an  experimental research. The sampling technique in the development of this research is the sampling area, while the design of the writer is using in this research using a control group design.  The instruments used are tests and observation to be quickly read ability. Based on the calculation of the t test is 3,75 with dk = n1 – 1or n2 – 1 = 22 - 1 =  21. At the significant level 5% (0.05) Is 2,08 (t-table). Because 3,75 of 2,08 then rejected Ho and accepted H1, meaning that contained the effect of the method SQ3R on the students quickly read ability in  the elementary school grade V.Keywords:  SQ3R methods, skimming ability, elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the significant relationship between attitudes, interests, and motivations with students’ knowledge of local history. This research employed a quantitative approach with regression analysis. The population of this study was the 5th grade students of an Elementary School in Bandarlampung. The number of the sample was 53 students. The technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument is a scale of motivation, interests, attitudes, and knowledge of local history. In analyzing the data the three predictors regression technique was used. The results showed that: (1) There is no relationship between attitude towards Local History Lesson (X1) with the Local History Knowledge (Y); (2) There is no correlation between Interest in Local History Lesson (X2) with Local History Knowledge (Y); (3) There is a significant relationship between the Motivation of Learning Local History (X3) with Local History Knowledge (Y); and (4) There are a significant relationship between Attitude (X1), Interests (X2), and Local Historical Learning Motivation (X3) along with Local History Knowledge (Y) of the 5th grade students of an Elementary School in Bandarlampung.

Abstract

This research is describing a prototype of multimedia interactive based on guiding inquiry. Research subject was obtained at fourth grade of SDN Pedurungan Kidul 01. Design and display this media be adapted by the student’s character. Teaching media products are approved by one who validated before used. One who validated was two lecturers and a teacher of fourth grade. The practicality of this research obtained at observation data from the teacher’s ability to manage the class and the students’ responses to multimedia interactive based on guiding inquiry. Based on the data could be concluded that the development of multimedia interactive based on guiding inquiry is valid, practical and effective in learning IPS at fourth grade of elementary school. This media could help the students’comprehension in formulate the problems, collect the data, analyzing and conclusion the problems. Abstract

The reading program is another name for reading literature used by SDN Bugangan 02Semarang. Implementation of the program likes to read that is 15 minutes before the learning activities of students reading books with the title as he wishes. In this study students are given a book entitled "a collection of children's stories about the habit of eating healthy food". This short story contains six titles of children with a theme of healthy food. This theme is in accordance with the 9th grade theme teacher's book. This study aims to determine the effect of reading programs on the ability to make students. This research uses Pre-Experiment Designs with quantitative approach. The sample of this research is all students of grade IV SDN Bugangan 02 Semarang. The results of this study indicate that reading programs affect students' writing ability.

Abstract

The result of observation in grade V students at SDN II Galanggang has a low understanding about the history of Islamic Kingdom in Indonesia. The reason among others, because the learning process that takes place more directed at the achievement of material targets, so that the impact on passive student activity and student learning outcomes have not shown minimal achievements that have been determined. Solution to overcome by applying mind-map model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research Method (PTK). The purpose of this research is to improve students' creativity and understanding. The results of this study showed an increase in student creativity in the cycle I 68.8%, 92.88% cycle II, and 95.6% III cycle. Likewise with students' understanding of the cycle I 77.7%, 84.4% II cycle, and 91.1% III cycle. Thus the application of mind map model can improve students' creativity and understanding on the history of Islamic kingdom in Indonesia. Keywords: mind map, creativity, comprehension.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in the research is to know whether the use of audio visual media can improve the learning outcomes of IPS students of grade IV SDN 2 Datar. The type of research used is quantitative research of experimental type with pre-experimental type with pre-postest design of desaign. Population used is all sample that is class IV even academic year 2016/2017 by using saturated sampling. The results showed an increase in the pretest and postest results experienced a difference. The average pretest is 65 and the posttest is 81, which means there is an increase in IPS learning outcomes of grade 4 students SDN 2 Datar after using audio visual media.Keywords: learning result, audio visual media, IPS.
