This study aims to describe the quality of irrigation services on rice farming as well as its corelation to the farmers Willingness To Pay (WTP) irrigation services. The study was conducted in rice farming centers namely Sleman and Bantul Regency based on irrigation river flows that crossed the region. Respondents were taken from each irrigation area as many as 5 farmers using simple random sampling with total number of samples were 125 farmers. The irrigation service data and farmers Willingness To Pay irrigation services were analyzed using rank Spearman correlation to see the corelation of both factors. The result showed that there was a negative correlation between irrigation services and farmers Willingness To Pay irrigation fees., In general, rice farming irrigation services in Special Region of Yogyakarta are in good category, however willingness of farmers to pay irrigation services (WTP) is low. In order to support the sustainability of longterm irrigation services, it requires public awareness, especially farmers in irrigation utilization and the provision of smart irrigation control in irrigation maintenance.

This research was conducted to determine the effect of economic orientation and environmental awareness both on productivity and yield of sugarcane community partners in the Wonolangan Sugar Factory. The study was conducted in Probolinggo and Lumajang Regency with 102 samples of farmers selected using simple random sampling. The measurement of the level of economic orientation and environmental awareness was carried out using Likert scale and was categorized as low, medium and high. The influence of economic orientation and environmental awareness both on productivity and yield of sugar cane were analyzed using multiple regression with the Cobb Douglas production function. Based on the results, the economic orientation and environmental awareness of farmers were relatively high and could increase sugarcane productivity and yield.

The problem of national food security could not be resolved if the problems at the lowest level (household) did not resolved. One of the effective strategy to achieve food security was increasing food diversification. This study compared the patterns of consumption and the level of diversification of household food among provinces that were resistant to food insecurity. This study used National Socio-Economic Survey (Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional/SUSENAS) data from Statistic Indonesia and analyzed using the Berry index and the Almost Ideal Demand System (LA / AIDS) model. This study found that the level of income and the level of food diversification in food secure province (East Kalimantan) were higher than those in food insecure province (East Nusa Tenggara). The patterns of household food consumption in East Nusa Tenggara province was more influenced by changes in income, while East Kalimantan was subject to price changes.
