Abstract

The fulfillment of children sexual education is still ignore,the sex education for children is watched as something negative and still dificult to be educated to children.The parents has an important role for the children sexual education because the parents is the first teacher for the children. So that is the reason, there should have an effort to give an explaination to the children about the function of their sexual organs.To get komperhensive understanding, it was done survey towards 80 parents, in one of Elementary school in Sragen.This reseach used kualitatif approach with fenimenology methode. Abstract

PAUD Aisyiyah 3 Salatiga consists of two (2) institutions namely kindergarten (TK) Aisyiyah 3 and Playgroup (KB) Aisyiyah 3 as one of the educational institutions in Salatiga. However, the processing of the academic data still established conventionally, in which the data is only written in a book. This is certainly unable to prevent the repetition of the data that is recorded. Repetition of data can lead to inefficient bookkeeping and frequent errors relationships among the data. In addition, the book is stored in filing cabinets that affect the occurrence of difficulties in the search for the necessary data at any time. This service activity carried out in order to help PAUD Aisyiyah 3 Salatiga perform academic data management through the website. It is considered as data management using the internet media is a means of managing data that can be done easily, quickly and cheaper cost. Thus, the output is a website for the education institutions PAUD Aisyiyah 3 Salatiga. The activity carried out with the first step is creating a management information system of school academic data. The system is made using a CMS with the programming language is PHP and Javascript. The information system is then hosted online. The second stage is conducting training for the school teachers. With this training, participants are expected to take advantage of academic data management information system optimally to manage the data of academic school. The result is a web-based academic data management information system at www.paudaba3salatiga.com. The information system is made with two types of users, namely as an admin user that has full access rights, and ordinary users with limited privileges. This system can be used to manage the data of teachers, students, parents / guardians of students, classes, inventory, learning activities, and assessment activities of the students. Meanwhile, the training result shows some problems, such as lack of Internet connections in schools, and the limited ability of teachers in the terms of information technology. Therefore, the team will continue to monitor the use of the information systems

Abstract

Kabupaten Boyolali merupakan salah satu wilayah yang sering terdampak bencana angin puting beliung. Bencana angin puting beliung hampir setiap tahun terjadi menjelang musim hujan tiba dan mengakibatkan kerugian material serta korban luka. Salah wilayah di Kabupaten Boyolali yang sering terdampak bencana angin puting beliung adalahi Desa Munggur. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan sebagai Penguatan Literasi Mitigasi Bencana Angin Puting Beliung untuk Peningkatan Kapasitas Masyarakat Desa Munggur, Kabupaten Boyolali, Jawa Tengah. Upaya tersebut dilakukan melalui edukasi yang dilakukan dalam focus group discussion (FGD). FGD tersebut dihadiri oleh 50 warga, kepala desa, perangkat desa serta tokoh masyarakat. FGD dimulai dengan pemaparan materi yang berisi pengetahuan ilmiah (scientific knowledge), dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab. Hasil edukasi adalah peningkatan literasi masyarakat Desa Munggur tentang bencana angin puting beliung serta upaya mitigasinya yang diintegrasikan dengan kearifan lokal (local knowledge), sehingga terjadi sinergi antara kearifan lokal (local knowledge) dan pengetahuan ilmiah (scientific knowledge). Sinergi tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kapasitas (capacity) masyarakat, sehingga tingkat risiko (risk) bencana angin puting beliung dapat diturunkan.

Abstract

his activity aims at proposing the contemplation and necessarytreatment to prepare workers in facing their retirement period so that theymay get rid of their anxiety which may disturb their life.  Therefore, themanagement of an institution should give necessary training for theirworkers to prepare their retirement period (MPP). This activity is conductedusing some methods as speech, discussion, and consultation. The solutionis taken from the participants since they are aware of their own needs, wants,abilities and obstacles. The solution from the participants is expected tobe conducted and applied easily, since they obviously tend to obey thecommitment created by them. After conducting this activity, there aresome significant changes in discourse from the participants in terms ofretirement condition, the next activities to be committed and how to starta new activity.

Abstract

Gereja Santo Yoseph Medari berada di daerah Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta. Gereja ini memiliki kegiatan ibadat rutin (ekaristi mingguan) dan juga beberapa kegiatan lainnya.  Kegiatan tersebut antara lain rapat dewan, rapat bidang, rapat tim, pertemuan kelompok-kelompok kategorial, latihan-latihan misdinar, dan perjumpaan informal dalam upaya mempererat paguyuban umat. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut ada yang terjadwal, namun banyak pula yang insidental. Aneka kegiatan ini seringkali bersamaan sehingga perlu adanya ruang-ruang pelayanan pastoral yang memadahi, seperti ruang rapat kelompok kecil, kelompok besar, dan ruang lainnya yang berguna bagi penunjang pelayanan pastoral. Ruang-ruang yang ada saat ini dirasa belum optimal sehingga perlu ditata ulang. Atas permintaan pihak paroki, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta menugaskan tim pengabdian masyarakat untuk merespon dan membantu kebutuhan tersebut. Tim pendampingan teknis ini telah mendampingi pihak gereja dalam upaya mendesain masterplan Gereja Santo Yoseph Medari. Masterplan yang telah dibuat menyesuaikan dengan kondisi eksisting tapak yang ada dan diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan ruang, baik sebagai pendukung kegiatan gerejawi di Gereja Santo Yoseph Medari maupun sebagai pendukung kegiatan umat paroki secara umum. Analisis terhadap potensi tapak dan kebutuhan fungsi telah dilakukan selama proses pengembangan desain agar desain masterplan yang dihasilkan sesuai untuk kebutuhan umat namun tetap sesuai dengan lingkungan fisik dan budaya masyarakat setempat. Proses pembuatan masterplan dibagi menjadi 2 tahap (secara garis besar), yaitu: pengumpulan data dan analisa awal, yang dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan konsep dan pembuatan gambar desain yang terdiri dari gambar penataan kawasan danusulan desain bangunan penunjang.

Abstract

Once the problem of clean water shortage is resolved, new problems arise related to the cost of treating water pumps and water distribution channels through uneven public hydrants. Through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity conducted by UMS Community Service Team which was attended by all heads of Dusun and management of Air Tirta Gua Suruh, it has been formulated the need for productive business in groups related to water utilization which can be used as a joint result for contribution of water pump maintenance cost Cave Suruh. The need for daily vegetable ingredients will be fulfilled independently and group through vegetable crops of pollybag media. The result of the sale of vegetable business of PKK Group and Karangtaruna has added input to the water management cost of Suruh Cave. This PEMITRA UMS Programs in assisting the community to make media pollybag as well as vegetable seed business capital managed by PKK Group in Kangkung and Karangtaruna group in Wijil have been understood.

Abstract

Batik merupakan salah satu peninggalan budaya nenek moyang bangsa Indonesia yang perlu terus dipelihara dan dilestarikan. Salah satu persoalan yang muncul dari usaha pembuatan batik adalah limbah yang dihasilkan. Limbah yang langsung dibuang tanpa proses penyaringan terlebih dahulu sehingga dapat membahayakan bagi lingkungan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan kegiatan pendampingan bagi para pengusaha batik agar melakukan pengolahan lebih dahulu limbah yang dihasilkan sebelum dibuang ke lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui tahapan penyuluhan bagi UKM batik Mutiara Hasta dan Katun Ungu di Kota Semarang serta pembuatan bak pengolah limbah secara biologis dengan media meliputi kerikil, kerakal, bioball dan batu zeolit. Kadar polutan pada limbah yang dihasilkan dari kedua UKM tersebut jauh melebihi ambang batas yang diijinkan. Melalui pengolahan limbah secara biologis diharapkan limbah yang dibuang tidak lagi membahayakan lingkungan dan UKM dapat melakukan pengolahan secara berkelanjutan karena metode ini tidak memerlukan biaya yang besar.

Abstract

Kindergarten children is a phase of school children. School children phase generally  have  better  condition  than  children  under  five  years,  because  many government programs can be targeted at these groups, that one of them is the UKS programs  (Program  Usaha  Kesehatan  Sekolah),  but  the  program  has  not  been prevalent at kindergarten school generally. A frequent problem faced by the children of this phase is difficult to eat, especially vegetables because they do not have a sweet taste. There are a variety of nutritional conditions that are unsatisfactory at schoolchildren, for example, less weight, iron deficiency anemia, a deficiency of vitamin C, and in certain areas also lack of jodium. Lack of vegetables are things that can cause vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Authors do counseling about the importance of vegetables  for  children  in  kindergarten  Aisyiyah,  Kwadungan,  Trowangsan, Malangjiwan, Colomadu to convey the importance of vegetables so that the parents have a stronger effort to encourage their children to consume vegetables. Counseling is done by the power point media and done interactively. Authors gave pre-test andpost-test regarding knowledge about the importance of vegetables. There were prizes for the highest score of the post-test to attract participants. Paired samples t test was performed with the result that there was a significant increase in knowledge (p =0.000) in the parents.
