Abstract

The 4C skills (Creative Thinking, Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, Communication, and Collaboration) are needed in the 21st century to support learning and prepare students to compete in the labour market. This study aims to determine the implementation of 4C skills in productive subjects of competency skills for Vocational High Schools (SMK) Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran (OTKP) in 17 schools in Surabaya City. This evaluation research uses the CIPP method (Context, Input, Process, Product). The method used is a combination method (Mix Methods). The results showed that the suitability of applying the 4C skills at the Surabaya City OTKP Skills Competency Vocational School for each aspect of context, input, process, and product was in the high category. In addition, from the results of documentation and observation in the learning process, the teacher has carried out the four aspects of 4C skills. It can be concluded that the application of 4C skills has been going well.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of student learning outcomes in the Basic - Basic Office Management and Business Services subjects which have not yet achieved the completeness score given by the teacher teaching these subjects. In addition, after conducting preliminary studies and observations at SMKN 1 Lamongan in class X MP 1 and 2 they tend to be passive because the learning model delivered still often uses a teacher-centered learning model using the lecture method. Thus, there is a need for learning innovation to make students more active in teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in student learning outcomes using the Auditory, Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model in the Basics of Office Management and Business Services in class X MP 1 and 2 at SMKN 1 Lamongan. This type of research uses experimental research. The design of this experimental research is Quasi Experimental Design, the type of quasi experimental design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were students of class X MP 1 as the control class, and students of class X MP 2 as the experimental class. Data collection techniques used documentation, observation, tests and research instruments in the form of pretest and posttest learning outcomes test sheets. The results showed that ttest 0.05, namely 0.000 0.05 and tcount 6.140 ttable 1.994. In these results it is known that Hα is accepted and H0 is rejected. The significant increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class was 19.71 while in the control class there was an increase in learning outcomes of 11.94. So it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning outcomes using the Auditory, Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model which is applied to the Basics of Office Management and Business Services in class X MP SMKN 1 Lamongan.

Abstract

Financial literacy is an important literacy for students. However, there are still many Indonesian students who cannot be completely correct in solving the Programme for Internasional Student Assessment financial literacy questions. The aim of this study is to analyze students’ errors in answering the PISA financial literacy questions. In this qualitative research, the researcher gave financial literacy questions to Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 189 Jakarta where the questions were at levels 3, 4, and 5. These questions are based on the examples of financial literacy questions issued by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development where these questions can be used as a trial or exercise. Error analysis in solving PISA financial literacy questions used Newman Error Analysis. This research involved 33 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 189 Jakarta. Data collection techniques used test questions, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included: data managing; reading, memoing; describing, classifying, interpreting; and representing, visualizing. The results of this study indicate that the level of financial literacy knowledge of students at SMP Negeri 189 Jakarta is classified as low. Identification of difficulties found 121 mistakes made by students, 34.7% made mistakes in transformation (42 errors), 27.3% made mistakes in process skill (33 errors), 24.8% made mistakes in comprehension (30 errors), while the rest or around 13.2% made mistakes in encoding (16 errors). Future research is needed to find out what factors influence students' financial literacy.
