Working position of Songket workers at Tenunan Antik Pusako Minang Pandai Sikek were not ergonomic. There were indicated by the presence of curvature, incompatibility machine dimension with operator anthropometric (artisans songket) so that appear complaints on a workerâs limb. It required the assessment and review of work postures using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). The results is that final score of each work posture and level of risk. There are 6 working posture is often performed by workers. Working posture has final score 7 and higher risk level is sitting hunched forward with his arms and legs on tiptoe, and sat with his arms held forward positions.

CV. Segitiga is a company engaged in tofu manufacture. In the manual screening process, workers perform screening activities with standing postures and the hands shaking sieve so that workers spend a lot of energy that causes a long time as well as the screening process less efficient. Besides, the use of a manual screening causes pain complaints of workers in some parts of the workersâ body. In this study, a screening tool designed to facilitate the work and shorten the time of screening in the process of making tofu. Tools that have been created using the motor so can reduce worker fatigue and injury and speed up screening process. By using the tool, the savings are Rp. 1.000.600/month and screening times can be shortened by 55.1%.

In education, the students are the products to be input and the output are graduates. Users of graduates are consumers who need to know the level of satisfaction to provide a self-evaluation in improving the institutions. It is also stated in the accreditation forms BAN PT. However, a grain questions that sought to know is very little. The research was conducted at a university in Yogyakarta. Research trying to describe in detail the attributes of quality of graduates based on the user satisfaction level graduates. Object of study is alumni and also alumni users. The study was conducted during the months of August to November 2012. Attributes used are Communication Skills, Organizational Skills, Leadership, Logic, Effort, Ethics, Group and Other Skills. Other attributes are attributes about the ability of areas of expertise. From the results obtained, the attributes that need attention are Organizational Skills and Leadership with the highest gap -0.82. Overall, users of alumni do not feel satisfied, because all negative attributes.

Inventory control is an internal process that is essential for the companys operations, especially in the field of industrial paints. Many types, colors and sizes of packaging paint often urged companies to hoard supplies. Nevertheless the possibility of failing to meet customer demand still occur, either due to exhaustion of stock, delivery delays, or for any other reason. Finished product inventory control in a way or innovative method must be developed to reduce excess inventory so as to minimize storage costs and to meet customer needs optimally. Use the ABC method and modifications VEN can be an alternative in inventory control application based on the classification of products and level of service companies. With a combination of ABC-VEN method, it will obtain 9 grade product inventory to the value of each service level that has been adjusted so that it can help determine the optimal inventory control policies for the company. From the research, suggested inventory control policy indicates that the inventory turnover rate suggested an average 3.14 times per year is the number of days supply of inventory was 76 days.This means that the inventory control policy suggested, PT. Propan Raya I.C.C can improve inventory performance by increasing the speed of inventory turnover amounted to 60.2% and increase the efficiency of the number of days supply of inventory by 37.7% of the current inventory.

Determination of temporary shelters garbage (TPS) and the final disposal site (TPA) is a very important, that pile of garbage does not interfere the daily activity of society, their comforts, and the beauty of the city. City government has set the TPS at all kelurahan, such as in Kota Jakarta Timur. Â There are a number of polls spread over 60 kelurahan and 10 districts. Meanwhile, the TPA is available only 3 locations spread and allocated to accommodate waste from around the TPS in Jakarta. Therefore in this study developed a model of urban waste disposal site selection based on their shortest distance using binary integer linear programa method with the help of microsoft excel solver. As for the data used in them is the location of the TPS and TPA, as well as the distance between them, which is derived from Dinas Kebersihan Jakarta Timur, Central Board of Statistics (BPS), and google maps. Optimization model is expected to help the government in determining the exact location of each TPA TPS.

CV. Grafika Inndah is a printing company, majoring in job order production system. While so far, the company has problems on the decision making due to lead time for booking orders that the company can accept customer orders according to quantity and due date. The production process of the design, print finishing and that includes the print engine 52 and engine Sakura print shop.  The station receives a print job that exceeds the load capacity. Thus this research aims to determine the lead time, the average output and average utility. Data processing in this study using the method of manufacturing systems based load control (load oriented manufacturing control), and to assist in decision-making applications built using Delphi. Programming of the analysis of the data processing method known LOMC can the average lead time work station 2.88 hours and an average of 99.7% utilities, and Print Shop Lead time average of 1.82 hours and an average of 99.85% utilities. Decision support system applied in this study deserves to be implemented. It can be seen from the test program using the Black Box Test and Alpha Test is evidenced in respondents answered SS (strongly agree) as much as 48% and S (agree) as much as 46% .

Scheduling methods particularly in scheduling a job toward machine capacity is often not optimal in generating the minimum makespan time due to the inappropriate mechanism of determining the schedule from the job. By using an appropriate mechanism on the local search for both of the job order towards machine and the recapitulation of the makespan in each job in order to produce the optimal scheduling is proved an effective approach to minimize the error of the end time processes that are too long. This approach is also able to provide the optimal solution for the work planning. This research focuses on the searching for some mechanism design alternatives in job scheduling by employing the makespan recapitulation table of each job on the machine determined by Dannenbring method. The result of this research shows that the smallest possible makespan time is 93, by following the order of job j1-j7-j2-j8-j4-j5-j6-j3, j1-j6-j2-j7-j8-j4-j5-j3 and j1-j6-j2-j4-j8-j7-j5-j3 using hybrid Pi1 earlier mechanism and hybrid Pi2 earlier mechanism.

Bamboo laminate is a product made from bamboo slats, which are glued parallely to the fibers. The adhesion results can be either board or beam thickness depending on the size and width. Bamboo has a high strength layer against abrasion and bending moment. In the previous study, lamination bamboo chair has the disadvantage on high production costs and a long process. Thus, it needs for redesigning seats from previous research. Design method with the concept of Design Guidelines Collaborative Framework is expected to make a product that is produced sustainably chair and have a relatively affordable cost of production. This chair design is made by bamboo bent lamination and bending process is done with Tohnet method with existing technology, that will generate power for the same structure with wood for the furniture industry and can not be separated from the value of comfort (ergonomic), aesthetic values and also not rule out environmental aspects according to Indonesian National Standard.

Information technology advances very rapidly at this time to generate thousands or even millions of data from various aspect of life. However, what can be done with that much data?. In this research, we start from calculation of data set of students who have graduated from President University using k-means clustering algorithm, namely by classifying the data of students into several clusters based on the characteristics of this data in order to discover the information hidden from the data set of student who have graduated from President University. The attribute data that is used in this study is hometown, major and GPA. The purpose of this study is to help the President Universitys marketing department in predicting promotion strategies undertaken in the cities in Indonesia. Information gained in this study can be used as a references in determining the proper strategy for marketing team in their promotion activities in the cities in Indonesia so that the campaign will be more effective and efficient.
