Abstract

Pemilihan dan pengoptimalan suatu metode yang lebih baik untuk meningkatkan mutu suatu produk atau jasa yang dihasilkan sangat diperlukan oleh perusahaan dewasa ini. Dalam permasalahan ini yang penting untuk diperhatikan oleh suatu perusahaan adalah kesesuaian suatu produk atau jasa yang dihasilkan dengan keinginan dan kepuasan konsumen sehingga dapat berkelanjutan menjadi pelanggan. Salah satu metode untuk mengetahui kebutuhan dan keinginan pelangan adalah Quality Function Deployment. Metode ini digunakan oleh industri batik di Nambangan Lor Kotamadya Madiun untuk menentukan technical respon yang harus dilakukan.

Abstract

The techniques and the principles of work system can improve efficiency and work productivity. Work system consists of several work elements. They are man, material, environment, method, and equipment. The elements is interconnected each others. The elements was influent efficiency and work productivity. Efficiency is important in the work system. The purposes of the research is design of work facilitiess, so that can improve work productivity. Inefficiency of work motion and work facility can influent work productivity. Work posture can analyzed RULA method. The score of work postures were 5,6, and 7. The high scores have indicate that the facilities must be investigated and must be changed. The workers need to work facility to prevent musculoskeletal injury.

Abstract

CV. Grafika Inndah is a printing company, majoring in job order production system. While so far, the company has problems on the decision making due to lead time for booking orders that the company can accept customer orders according to quantity and due date.  The production process of the design, print finishing and that includes the print engine 52 and engine Sakura print shop.  The station receives a print job that exceeds the load capacity. Thus this research aims to determine the lead time, the average output and average utility.  Data processing in this study using the method of manufacturing systems based load control (load oriented manufacturing control), and to assist in decision-making applications built using Delphi.  Programming of the analysis of the data processing method known LOMC can the average lead time work station 2.88 hours and an average of 99.7% utilities, and Print Shop Lead time average of 1.82 hours and an average of 99.85% utilities. Decision support system applied in this study deserves to be implemented.  It can be seen from the test program using the Black Box Test and Alpha Test is evidenced in respondents answered SS (strongly agree) as much as 48% and S (agree) as much as 46% .

Abstract

Di UPT ? PSTKP (Unit Pelaksana Teknis ? Pengembangan Seni dan Teknologi Keramik dan Porselin) Bali hampir setiap ruangan dilengkapi sebuah komputer, kecuali dalam ruangan rapat, ruangan laboratorium, dan ruangan produksi. Para operator komputer tersebut biasanya melaksanakan tugas sehari-harinya di depan komputer tidak lebih dari dua jam, lalu beralih ke pekerjaan lain yang tidak menggunakan komputer dan selanjutnya melanjutkan lagi pekerjaannya dengan komputer. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengurangi rasa jenuh, penat, dan kelelahan di mata selama bekerja di depan komputer. Bila dilihat dari sisi keefektivitan tenaga operator, cara kerja seperti ini sudah jelas tidak menguntungkan bagi lembaga karena waktu kerja terbuang dan sudah pasti kaitannya pada produktivitas yang tidak optimal. Kondisi tersebut tentu tidak sesuai dengan konsep ergonomi. Salah satunya adalah tidak tercapainya peningkatan produktivitas. Dalam ergonomi dikenal istilah keluhan subjektif, yaitu tanda-tanda yang menyatakan adanya kelelahan yang dialami orang akibat beban kerja yang membebaninya oleh karena interaksi pekerja dengan jenis pekerjaannya, rancangan tempat kerja, peralatan kerja, dan lingkungan kerja. Kelelahan dibedakan dalam tiga kategori yaitu menurunnya aktivitas, menurunnya motivasi, dan adanya kelelahan fisik akibat keadaan umum. Jenis penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional dengan rancangan pre and post test group design, melibatkan sepuluh orang operator sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner kelelahan 30 items of rating scale. Pendataan dilakukan sebelum dan setelah 2 jam kerja. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji t-paired pada tingkat kemaknaan ? = 0,05. Hasilnya adalah operator komputer yang bekerja selama 2 jam mengalami peningkatan kelelahan secara umum sebesar 37,29%; pelemahan aktivitas kerja sebesar 39,08%; pelemahan motivasi kerja sebesar 28,64% dan meningkatnya kelelahan fisik sebesar 42,15%. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah perlunya pengaturan irama kerja dan diterapkan istirahat pendek 5 ? 10 menit setiap 1 jam kerja agar kondisi operator pulih dari rasa lelah, dan perbaikan stasiun kerja sesuai antropometri operator.

Abstract

Aktivitas penanganan materal yang tidak tepat dapat mengakibatkan kerugian dan kecelakaan pada operator. Salah satunya adalah cedera pada sistem muskuloskeletal atau muskoloskeletal disorder (MSDs). Makalah ini mengkaji aktivitas penanganan material pada pekerja panggul beras pada gudang gudang BULOG Sub Depot Logistic Wil III Surakarta Pergudangan Beras 305 Grogol, Sukoharjo, dengan menggunakan NIOSH equation. Dari hasil pengukuran terhadap 4 pekerja yang melakukan kegiatan panggul beras, diperoleh bahwa kegiatan ini termasuk kegiatan yang ringan berdasarkan perhitungan konsumsi energi. Namun demikian, beban angkat aktual diatas beban yang direkomendasikan dengan tingkat Lifting Index (LI) > 1, dan berpotensi menyebabkan MSDs.

Abstract

Scheduling methods particularly in scheduling a job toward machine capacity is often not optimal in generating the minimum makespan time due to the inappropriate mechanism of determining the schedule from the job. By using an appropriate mechanism on the local search for both of the job order towards machine and the recapitulation of the makespan in each job in order to produce the optimal scheduling is proved an effective approach to minimize the error of the end time processes that are too long. This approach is also able to provide the optimal solution for the work planning. This research focuses on the searching for some mechanism design alternatives in job scheduling by employing the makespan recapitulation table of each job on the machine determined by Dannenbring method. The result of this research shows that the smallest possible makespan time is 93, by following the order of job j1-j7-j2-j8-j4-j5-j6-j3, j1-j6-j2-j7-j8-j4-j5-j3 and j1-j6-j2-j4-j8-j7-j5-j3 using hybrid Pi1 earlier mechanism and hybrid Pi2 earlier mechanism.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to be able to guide and direct the prostitutes (WTS) in Surakarta and it?s surrounding environment on the nursing house "Wanita Utama" Surakarta who want to change profession to have the insight and skills of entrepreneurial attitudes and skills of batik. Debriefing is done by providing counseling and training-related such as entrepreneurship training, providing knowledge about batik and batik business, as well as training with the kinds of batik: handmade writing batik, printed batik and combination batik. The implication of this activity is the opening insight into the participants on the batik activities and can be seen from the enthusiasm of participants to propose on batik courses in other kinds such as batik dyeing. Most of the participants wanted a follow-up of these training efforts as well as assistance and for giving a confidence to be responsible for their future.

Abstract

Employee is one of the main assets that support the success of an organization, so their performance will affect performance of the organization as a whole. This study aims to evaluate the application and determine the effect of incentive systems and other factors on job performance. Methods of data collection in this study consists of literature review, interviews and collecting questionnaires. A total of 103 questionnaires distributed to nonacademic employees at an educational institution. Data processing in this study, among others, evaluation of incentives satisfaction, correlation test using Pearson and Partial Least Squares (PLS) to predict the relationship between the variables. The results showed that salaries are the most important priority to be obtained at work. Relationships between variables in terms of a significant correlation between the variable conditions of employment, the willingness achievers, and incentives for job performance variables. In the design of the proposed incentives, provision of incentives aimed at increasing productivity and work motivation, maintaining equality and feasibility at incentives, and maintaining the welfare of employees. In addition, the design of proposed incentives gives adjustment to the amount of family allowance, responsibility allowance, general allowance, as well as performance benefits.

Abstract

Membuat produk dalam jumlah banyak menyebabkan pemborosan yang dapat mengurangi efisiensi produksi. Aktivitas yang paling banyak membuang waktu adalah aktivitas set-up mesin, untuk mengatasi masalah ini maka perlu diterapkan metode just-in-time dengan pembakuan kegiatan dan minimasi waktu set-up dengan mengambil kondisi real yang ada pada lantai produksi. Penelitian dilakukan di CV. Roda Jati, data yang digunakan adalah waktu penyelesaian komponen frame ujung produk GT 060 pada bagian permesinan dan waktu set-up mesin. Analisa meliputi : urutan kegiatan sekarang, usulan pembakuan kegiatan, perbaikan pembakuan kegiatan menggunakan minimasi waktu set-up, analisa menggunakan prinsip 5S. Hasil dari pengamatan didapatkan pembakuan kegiatan pada bagian permesinan dan mengurangi waktu set-up mesin. Waktu yang digunakan untuk memproduksi komponen tersebut sebelum dilakukan pembakuan kegiatan sebesar 4655,42 detik dan mengalami penurunan menjadi 4635,08 detik. Setelah dilakukan minimasi waktu set-up maka mengalami penurunan lagi mejadi sebesar 4296,31detik. Agar proses dapat selesai tepat waktu maka operator harus mentaati kegiatan yang telah dibakukan perusahaan dan dilakukan minimasi waktu set-up sebelum melakukan pekerjaan. Mempromosikan program 5S agar pekerja membiasakan diri untuk menjaga kerapian, kebersihan dan kedisplinan pada waktu berkerja.

Abstract

This paper attempt to analyze frameworks related to Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma. The basis of analysis the frameworks is the diffusion of innovation theory. Several criteria was used to analyze the frameworks e.g. relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, observability, communication channels, nature of the social system/culture and extent of change agent.    Based on framework analysis, there is only one framework fits to Rogers? theory on diffusion of innovation. The framework is a Lean Six Sigma framework which consists elements such owner/manager commitment and involvement, employee involvement, training, culture change and external support. Even though the elements have similarity to other Six Sigma frameworks but they put more attention on culture change and external support. Generally speaking, the culture change and external support are the most important elements to the implementation of Six Sigma or other soft approaches particularly for small organizations.
