Abstract

Skin Game is a local skincare brand that sells various facial skincare products. The utilization of Tik-Tok social media as a means of conducting marketing communication strategies has been carried out by the Skin Game team. Tik-Tok is one of the social media that has become a platform for many brand entrepreneurs to market their products. Through Tik-Tok social media, many companies make this social media a means to promote the products or services they sell, this greatly influences the purchasing decisions of consumers which will increase sales of products or services from the company. The researcher's objective in conducting this research is to find out how the Skin Game team's marketing communication strategy increases brand awareness through Tik-Tok social media. This research uses qualitative research methods, using a case study approach and is supported by the constructivism paradigm. The data collection technique was conducted through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Researchers used marketing communication strategies, namely message strategies and media strategies. Researchers found that there are several message strategies and media strategies used by the Skin Game Team in the marketing communication strategy through Tiktok social media.

Abstract

The Flexing phenomenon in TikTok celebs is not just a physical act of showing off wealth and based on several studies, TikTok celeb flexing is a form of symbolic communication. The purpose of this study was to determine the flexing performed by TikTok celeb Adelina Margareta as symbolic communication. This research uses a qualitative method with a semiotic analysis approach of the Roland Barthes model whose focus of attention is on the idea of two-stage signification (two orders of significations), namely analyzing the signifier and signified. Based on the results of the analysis of the 2 TikTok contents of Adeline Margaret with the Roland Barthes theoretical approach, it is known that the two contents analyzed contain denotative, connotative and mythical meanings to create audience perceptions on symbols of social status, financial success, or self-image that Adeline Margaret wants to project. The denotation of the act is a direct representation of the object shown, which is wealth. The connotation refers to the social values associated with luxury and fame. The hedonistic lifestyle and showing off luxury goods is a form of representation of the lives of the wealthy. Through her visual and narrative representations, Adeline Margaret builds an idealized self-image and inspires her followers to pursue a similar lifestyle.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of organizational communication on export-import service coordination at the Port, focusing on the interaction between PT IPC Petikemas and Shipping Agency. Effective communication is a key element in ensuring smooth operations and collaboration between various stakeholders at the port. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore how established communication can affect the coordination and efficiency of export-import services. The results show that structured, transparent, and timely communication between PT IPC Petikemas and Shipping Agency plays an important role in accelerating operational processes, reducing errors, and improving service quality. Barriers in communication, such as miscommunication or delays in information, have been shown to hamper workflow and have a negative impact on overall service. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening organizational communication to support better coordination in export-import services at the port.

Abstract

LinkedIn is a worldwide professional social network that allows users to connect with professional users around the world. LinkedIn is not just a job search platform, but also a place where individuals present themselves professionally. Students can develop their professional digital footprint through the LinkedIn platform. This research uses a constructivist paradigm with a qualitative method through a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study are in the form of 3 findings, namely the communication strategies of the five informants who formed Hubert K. Rampersad's personal branding values, the career advancement of the five informants, and the communication barriers experienced by the five informants. This research is expected to build students' awareness of the potential to build LinkedIn professional personal branding as a bridge to career advancement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the processions in Begawi Cakak Pepadun and to analyze the communication patterns that occur in the series of event. The study was located in Blambangan Village, North Lampung Regency, a village with a majority of Lampung Pepadun people who continue to uphold their traditional customs, especially in held of Begawi Cakak Pepadun.. The communication patterns in Begawi Adat Cakak Pepadun encompass several components, including the participants, the content of the message, the recipients of the message, and the media used. All these elements combine to form a unique communication pattern. This study employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, involving five informants. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The findings indicate that the communication patterns during the events are divided into two models: a multi-directional communication pattern observed in the processes of pemandai, manjau, ngedio, cangget, and cakak pepadun, and a one-way communication pattern evident in the turun mandei process.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including communication patterns in modern society. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital communication on communication patterns on the cultural values of modern society. Digital communication, which is characterized by the use of social media, instant messaging applications, and other digital platforms, influences the way people interact and convey inherited cultural values. These changes raise questions about how cultural values, such as mutual cooperation, politeness, and respect for tradition, are maintained or shifted in the digital era. Through a qualitative approach, it was found that digital communication tends to facilitate efficiency in social interaction, but on the other hand, there is the potential for a shift or decline in the quality of the delivery of cultural values. Some cultural values have adapted to suit the dynamics of digital communication, while others have begun to fade due to the influence of a more easily accessible global culture. This research concludes that although digital communication offers opportunities to expand the spread of cultural values, there are challenges in maintaining the essence and integrity.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of TikTok as a political communication medium for the millennial generation. With the development of technology and social media, TikTok has emerged as a platform that is not only used for entertainment, but also as a means to convey political messages. Through a qualitative approach, this research collects data from interviews and analysis of video content related to political issues on TikTok. The findings show that TikTok has great potential to influence the political views of the millennial generation, especially through a creative and accessible format. In addition, user interaction on this platform creates space for more dynamic discussion and dissemination of political information. This research provides insight into how social media, especially TikTok, can function as a tool for political mobilization and strengthening the active participation of the millennial generation in the political process. The conclusions of this research underscore the importance of understanding the dynamics of political communication in the digital era to optimize the use of platforms such as TikTok in political contexts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the demands of society regarding public services and the need for innovation in public services, both carried out by the government and other components of society. This research aims to determine service innovations carried out in NTB Province, especially service innovations in several sub-district local governments in West Nusa Tenggara, namely Mataram District, Sekar Beli District,. Next, to determine the inhibiting factors in implementing public service innovation in West Nusa Tenggara. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The key informants in this research were Mataram District, Sekar Beli District and Sandu Baya District. The results show that Bawasanya innovation services have been carried out in several sub-districts such as PATEN on The Road, Zero Compliant, Gerimis Senja (poverty alleviation movement), android information via online about land information. But there is still low equality in various community service innovation programs in reducing poverty to date. So the government needs to be reviewed and re-evaluated so that the service innovation program created can reach the masses. So that the public feels equal distribution of public service innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the mechanism of shelter home services for referred patients organized by the Gorontalo Provincial Health Office. The focus of the study is how the stages of registration, completeness of files, and implementation of surveys on patients referred outside the region using descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants in this study consisted of Health Office officials, shelter home officers, and patients and families of patients who use the service.The results of the study indicate that many people do not clearly understand the registration procedure and the completeness of the required files, which causes obstacles in the service process. In addition, it was found that the patient eligibility survey process had not been running effectively, especially in terms of assessing economic and health feasibility. This study recommends the need for increased socialization regarding the shelter home service mechanism, simplification of registration procedures, and periodic evaluation of the performance of shelter home services to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of services.

Abstract

The provision of public services is currently still one of the public's assessments of the government. Local wisdom values ​​in local communities are often neglected, so the government needs to make observations regarding service models so that they do not abandon traditional values ​​and local wisdom. This research focuses on studying the combination of traditional and administrative service models in Ngadisari village. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature using interview techniques with sources who were chosen deliberately and who are considered to understand the things that will be studied in this paper. The results of this research indicate that the collaboration of traditional and administrative services in Ngadisari Village based on local wisdom is running optimally, both in verbal, written and action services. This is of course adjusted to the respective duties of both the village government and traditional stakeholders as actors in traditional services. Communication between the village government and traditional stakeholders is the key to the success of the integrated service model in Ngadisari Village so that services remain good and of high quality.
