Abstract

This research focuses on the importance of nonverbal communication in effectively conveying messages, particularly in the context of the GenRe Ambassador selection event. The study aims to investigate how participants' nonverbal communication can influence their success in the competition and its impact on the audience, especially Instagram users. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study involving data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation to understand participants' experiences and perceptions related to nonverbal communication. The research subjects are participants and committee members involved in the GenRe Ambassador selection in Bandarlampung. The results of the study indicate that body language, facial expressions, and vocal intonation play a crucial role in participants' success in engaging the audience and delivering messages. Challenges in interpreting nonverbal cues and managing content on social media platforms are also highlighted. Understanding and leveraging nonverbal communication are crucial for participants to excel in the GenRe Ambassador selection process and effectively disseminate educational messages on social media.

Abstract

Sampah rumah tangga merupakan sampah yang dihasilkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari suatu rumah tangga. Mengingat banyak rutinitas yang turut menghasilkan timbulnya sampah, maka lingkungan sekitar pun ikut terkena dampak negatif dari sampah tersebut. Dampak tersebut dapat berupa pencemaran lingkungan, penurunan tingkat kebersihan air dan berdampak secara tidak langsung terhadap tingkat kesehatan sehari-hari suatu rumah tangga. Karena pentingnya menjaga lingkungan hidup, maka mahasiswa KKN dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung (UML) mengadakan pendampingan pembuatan lilin dan sabun dari limbah rumah tangga yaitu dari minyak goreng bekas (jelantah). Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah komunitas PKK (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga) Desa Padang Manis. Pelatihan tersebut diikuti oleh anggota masyarakat, kelompok PKK dan perwakilan warga dari 12 Rrumah tangga (RT) di Padang Manis, Way Lima, Pesawaran. Pada akhirnya, peserta PKK dan Karang Taruna memiliki pemahaman dan kesadaran yang lebih mendalam tentang bahaya minyak jelantah bagi kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan sebagai hasil dari penyuluhan dan pelatihan ini. Selain itu, para peserta juga belajar cara membuang limbah minyak jelantah dengan benar, yaitu dengan mengumpulkannya ke dalam botol atau wadah lain untuk mencegah pencemaran lingkungan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of TikTok as a political communication medium for the millennial generation. With the development of technology and social media, TikTok has emerged as a platform that is not only used for entertainment, but also as a means to convey political messages. Through a qualitative approach, this research collects data from interviews and analysis of video content related to political issues on TikTok. The findings show that TikTok has great potential to influence the political views of the millennial generation, especially through a creative and accessible format. In addition, user interaction on this platform creates space for more dynamic discussion and dissemination of political information. This research provides insight into how social media, especially TikTok, can function as a tool for political mobilization and strengthening the active participation of the millennial generation in the political process. The conclusions of this research underscore the importance of understanding the dynamics of political communication in the digital era to optimize the use of platforms such as TikTok in political contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the challenges faced in cybersecurity in Bandar Lampung, focusing on its impact on the digital sector, religion, and society. This study uses a qualitative approach through interviews with a number of experts and practitioners in the field of cybersecurity, as well as related literature studies. The results of the study indicate that cybersecurity in Bandar Lampung faces various problems, such as lack of public awareness, lack of clear regulations, and challenges in protecting personal data and digital transactions. This study also found that cyber threats have the potential to disrupt religious activities and social interactions in society. In conclusion, increased awareness, education, and cooperation between the government, religious institutions, and society are needed to overcome these challenges.

Abstract

QRIS is a digital payment method that makes it easy for users to carry out buying and selling transactions. Currently, using QRIS has become a transaction style that is popular, especially among young people. However, there are still many business actors who have not utilized RIS in the transaction process. With this background, this research aims to analyze and provide solutions for maximizing QRIS using an interpersonal communication approach and it is hoped that QRIS as a digital payment system will be able to provide easy transactions for traders and consumers, thereby potentially increasing sales volume. By using descriptive qualitative methods, researchers will examine the extent to which interpersonal communication is effective in encouraging the use of QRIS by street vendors and the research results are expected to show that good interpersonal communication such as direct education, demonstration of use, and persuasive approaches play an important role in increasing traders' trust and interest in using QRIS optimally. so that in the end optimal use of QRIS has a positive impact on increasing sales turnover.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena prosesi “Temu Manten” dalam pernikahan adat Jawa di Desa Rejosari dengan tujuan mengungkap makna yang terkandung di dalamnya. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan teori semiotika Roland Barthes, khususnya konsep konotasi dan denotasi, untuk memahami simbol-simbol budaya dalam tradisi ini yang masih kurang dipahami oleh masyarakat, terutama calon pengantin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif interpretatif dengan wawancara langsung kepada narasumber terkait. Prosesi Temu Manten merupakan momen sakral yang menandai pertemuan resmi kedua mempelai setelah prosesi ijab kabul. Setiap tahapannya mengandung nilai filosofis yang mencerminkan harapan akan rumah tangga yang harmonis, bahagia, dan penuh berkah. Melalui perspektif semiotika, setiap simbol dalam prosesi ini memiliki makna mendalam yang merefleksikan mitos dan ideologi budaya Jawa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman terhadap makna simbolik dalam prosesi ini penting untuk menjaga warisan budaya dan memperkuat nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam pernikahan adat Jawa.

Abstract

The development of the internet has brought about changes in the implementation of company marketing strategies. This aligns with the increasing interest in Umrah and Hajj in Indonesia. This research aims to understand how PT implements the digital marketing strategy. DEWANGGA TRAVINDO (Umrah and Hajj Agency). This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The data used consists of primary and secondary data. The research follows a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the Umrah and Hajj Agency applies digital marketing steps as outlined by Thomas Joseph, encompassing the integration of critical elements of digital marketing such as content, SEO, social media, community web, mobile apps, search engines, and the effective utilization of CRM systems. Abstract

Tim Pendamping Keluarga (TPK) merupakan tim yang dibentuk dalam upaya percepatan penurunan stunting sesuai amanah Peraturan Presiden Nomor 72 tahun 2021. Komunikasi interpersonal antara tim pendamping keluarga dengan sasaran langsung, baik tatap muka atau melalui media seperti telepon, whatsapp. serta pesan yang dapat dipersonalisasi sesuai dengan karakteristik, kebutuhan, dan latar belakang individu, memungkinkan adanya respons juga pertanyaan secara langsung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Peran komunikasi interpersonal Tim Pendamping Keluarga dalam Percepatan Penurunan Stunting di Kecamatan Way Sulan Kabupaten Lampung Selatan Tahun 2023. Tipe Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan obyek penelitian Tim Pendamping Keluarga (TPK) dan keluarga yang menjadi sasaran dalam pengurangan stunting. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa dari 5 indikator komunikasi interpersonal sudah dijalankan dengan baik, namun ada satu aspek yang perlu ditingkankan kembali agar komunikasi interpersonal TPK dalam melakukan pendampingan percepatan pengurangan stunting lebih efektif yaitu aspek keterbukaan, agar keluarga sasaran mendapatkan informasi dan edukasi mengenai pengurangan stunting.

Abstract

Komunikasi memiliki peran yang sangat vital dalam organisasi untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Tanpa adanya komunikasi yang efektif, interaksi antar anggota organisasi menjadi sulit terjalin. Oleh karena itu, komunikasi yang baik berkontribusi secara langsung terhadap pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Di Kantor Kementerian Agama Lampung Utara, salah satu penyebab kinerja pegawai yang rata-rata berada pada tingkat sedang adalah kurangnya intensitas komunikasi antar pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan fokus pada analisis data numerik yang diolah menggunakan metode statistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak komunikasi organisasi terhadap loyalitas kerja pegawai. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup yang disebarkan kepada 124 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya dampak yang signifikan antara komunikasi organisasi dan loyalitas kerja pegawai. Besarnya kontribusi komunikasi organisasi terhadap loyalitas kerja adalah 29,9%, sedangkan 70,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini. Abstract

Film is an effective medium for providing entertainment and information to the public. as in the animated film "Female Leader" by cisform UIN SUKA which succeeded in coloring the Indonesian animated film with different content, not just entertainment but knowledge information with Islamic nuances. In the animated film "Female Leader" tells the pros and cons of choosing a woman as the head of Risma at the Ar-Rahman Mosque, so that in this story a conflict emerges and the resolution is that in fact women are also allowed to be leaders.With Sara Mills' discourse analysis based on her analytical framework. This film depicts the role of men as subjects (tellers) and women as objects (who are told). Where men do not prioritize women's positions, but female actors are the main roles discussed. In this film the author also analyzes that there is a big ideology in the making of this film, namely to change the paradigm, that women can also be leaders with good leadership capacity, and the position of women is not just a complement in a group but as the main figure (chairman) in a group. group.
