Abstract

This study is based on the phenomenon of the problem that the researcher found in the field regarding the implementation of the policy of providing compensation to victims of traffic accidents by PT Jasa Raharja Sukabumi. The phenomena of this research problem are: 1) Limited number of employees resulting in multiple positions; 2) Lack of socialization so that there are still many people who are confused about managing accident compensation claims; and 3) The online compensation claim process has not been optimal yet. This study aims to determine the implementation of the policy of providing work accident compensation at PT Jasa Raharja Sukabumi. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The determination of informants in this study uses snowball sampling technique. Whereas, the data collection techniques which were used by researchers are observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses the theory of policy implementation according to Jones (1996). The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the policy of providing accident compensation by Jasa Raharja Sukabumi has run quite well in terms of organization and implementation. However, socialization is still less optimal, as can be seen from the lack of information regarding the procedure for claiming accident compensation received by most people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the meaning of the Javanese traditional wedding "Temu Manten" in Dolok Ilir I, Kec. Dolok Batu Nagar. This type of research uses interpretive qualitative research methods, and uses semiotic research methods, namely an analytical method to examine a sign and meaning in the object being studied based on facts in the field, namely the Javanese Traditional Wedding Procession "Temu Manten" in Dolok Ilir I, Kec. Dolok Batu Nagar. Data were collected using textbooks, references related to research. Based on the discussion and results, it is known that at the Javanese Traditional Wedding Procession "Temu Manten" in Dolok Ilir I, kec. Dolok Batu Nanggar, has a very deep meaning for the bride and groom and their families. In the procession, it can be seen that men are more in the household than women, and there are myths such as what Roland Barthes said that myths exist but do not know the truth, and in the Temu Manten procession, and in this procession the myth of Roland Barthes works that according to community belief, after carrying out the "temu manten" wedding procession, they have a harmonious, peaceful and harmonious household. But at this time for ordinary people, there are not a few who do not use this procession, because the event maker does not want to be complicated with all the existing affairs and requirements. However, there are still many people who advocate and use the Temu Manten ceremony and do not abandon the traditions that have been passed down and have been preserved, especially the people outside the island of Java.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Improving the Management Capacity of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) in Sagaranten District, Sukabumi Regency". The purpose of this study is to explain the capacity building of a public organization, namely a village-owned enterprise (BUMDES). Most BUMDes in Sagaranten sub-district seem to be just joining in or being talkative, which is when the BUMDes institutions and management have been established, but the potential that exists in their village areas has not been explored. So that after the formation of BUMDes, they cannot create business units or programs to utilize the potential of their own village, to provide benefits in accordance with the principles and objectives of BUMDes to the local community. The theory used to measure an increase in the capacity of an organization is the theory of capacity building written by Marilee S. Grindle (1997). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the mobilization carried out in carrying out business activities has not been maximized, and the control is not optimal. Because some of the planned business programs are not in accordance with the potential that exists in the village. Thus, the management of BUMDes has not been running and achieving its objectives according to the BUMDes principles. Keywords : Capacity Building, Village Owned Enterprises,

Abstract

ABSTRACT Open Bidding is the process of filling high leadership positions openly within government agencies. The Personnel and Human Resources Development Department of Sukabumi City and the Selection Committee are the implementers of the Open Bidding policy responsible for implementing the Open Bidding policy. In 2021 Sukabumi City had the advantage of clinching the 1st place in the 2021 BKN Award for the Personnel’s National Coordination, meaning that the implementation of the Open Bidding policy in Sukabumi City is excellent. The research was aimed at finding out the implementation of Open Bidding in filling vacancies in office positions within the Government of Sukabumi City. The research method used was qualitative research method with descriptive approach. The techniques of collecting data applied in the research were observation, interview, and documentation. The techniques of validating data of the research deployed data triangulation techniques and technical triangulation techniques. The techniques of analyzing data were conducted through the process of reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The data were analyzed qualitatively by applying an approach of the theory of implementation from Edward III. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Open Bidding within the Regional Government of Sukabumi City has been running effectively observed from the communication built has been performing well, the human resources have been met, the disposition conducted has been going well, the bureaucratic structure has been implemented in accordance with the Operational Standards Procedure (SOP) in the set regulations that have been set. Abstract

This study aims to show how organizational communication works during the covid-19 pandemic, and this study will show how the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic period on organizational communication. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive to obtain data and information about the Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic Period on the Communications of the UINSU CRNTV Organization (Case Study of UINSU CRNTV Members). In this study, it was found that the Covid-19 pandemic had a serious impact on the intensity of communication within an organization. In the UINSU CRNTV organization itself, during the Covid-19 pandemic the communication was not good, due to the lack of activity from some members. This is due to several obstacles, including an unstable network, even for reasons that are out of control, because all activities are carried out online..

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the framing discourse used by digital activists in articulating their expectations regarding the services of the Indonesian National Police (Polri). All data is available through conversations that explore the narrative of Polri's services, including the associated hashtag, using the hashtag #PercumaLaporPolisi. The data was also thoroughly analyzed utilizing critical discourse analysis methodologies modified from Fairclough's (1995) paradigm, namely (1) description, (2) interpretation, and (3) explanation. Through the hashtag #PercumaLaporPolisi, the researchers were able to identify three framing strategies: (1) a delegitimization approach, (2) a frustration strategy, and (3) a comparison strategy. The study was successful in documenting the aims and hopes of digital activists who constantly interact in framing in Polri institutions.

Abstract

The sub-district is one of the spearheads in providing a service, because the sub-district is one of the institutions that are close to the community, especially in rural areas. One of the services that is often carried out by the community in the area is services related to population administration. Population administration services carried out in Kalibunder District are one of the structuring efforts in controlling population documents. The extent of population administration services, the authors limit to three services, namely: Identity Card Services (e-KTP), Family Card Services (KK), Birth Certificates. The tasks carried out by the apparatus or sub-district employees where the apparatus services carried out by the Kalibunder sub-district employees are deemed not optimal, ranging from service time, service costs, to equal rights in receiving services. The theory used by the author to measure the service parameters at the Kalibunder sub-district office, Sukabumi Regency uses the Sinambela theory, namely: transparency, accountability, conditional, participatory, equal rights and balance of rights and obligations. And the author uses qualitative research methods

Abstract

The development of social media today can be used to maximize every potential of the tourism industry in the community. User Generated Content (UGC) is one of the strengths of social media because users can produce their own content and attract other consumers. UGC has an important role to create creation and interaction in the form of digital content, helping tourists to express, interact and collect or disseminate information as part of tourism communication. The method used in this research is literature review. The results of this study show that UGC is also a positive breakthrough and has a significant influence in building a destination image to influence the loyalty of a tourist through the use of social media, interesting visual content, and supported by persuasive captions by involving the audience to get involved in it.

Abstract

The strategies identified by the Tourism Office in developing the Sipiso-piso waterfall tourist attraction are (1) Monitoring every week to find out what needs to be improved and monitor the level of tourist visits to the Sipiso-piso waterfall and evaluate the monitoring. in order to find out what other strategies can develop the Sipiso-piso waterfall and increase tourists, (2) Involve all parties in the development of the Sipiso-piso waterfall, such as the community and business people who sell in the Sipiso-piso waterfall area, so that development is carried out can produce maximum results. (3) Conducting training for business actors such as tourism awareness socialization which is carried out once a year, (4) Coordination with all offices related to tourism in developing the Sipiso-piso waterfall tourist attraction. (5) Planning programs that can be done in developing the Sipiso-piso waterfall and attracting tourists to visit the Sipiso-piso waterfall.

Abstract

Waste management is an activity carried out in an effort to handle and reduce waste which includes of collection, transportation, final disposal and waste processing which aims to improve public health and environmental quality and can make waste as a resource. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used to answer research problems are interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. To check the validity of the data, source triangulation techniques, technique/method triangulation and theoretical triangulation techniques were used. The findings in the research field concluded that the capacity of the Medan City Sanitation and Gardening Service in managing waste in Medan City was not maximized. The capacity of human resources at the Department of Cleanliness and Parks in Medan City needs to be improved because there is no provision of education and training for employees in the field of waste management and the capacity of relations and networks at the Medan City Sanitation and Parks Service currently also needs to be improved because the Medan City Sanitation and Parks Service only maintains working relationships with all sub-districts in Medan City and only pilots collaboration with the private sector in managing waste into compost. .
