Abstract

The use of chatbots has seen rapid development across various sectors in recent years, including in the banking industry. This study evaluated and examined the relationship between factors that influence consumer trust in the use of the AI chatbot service, MITA, at Mandiri Bank. The importance of conducting this research lies in answering questions regarding the key factors that affect users' or customers' trust in chatbots, such as perceived benefits and ease of use, which influence the intention to adopt new technologies, particularly Mandiri Bank’s MITA services. A total of 266 survey samples were collected from users of the Mandiri Bank’s MITA chatbot via an online survey, using convenience sampling for sample selection. The statistical analysis technique used in this study was Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS software. This study shows that perceived usefulness and user comfort do not have a significant effect on user trust in Mandiri Bank’s MITA chatbot. However, other factors positively and significantly affected user trust in the MITA chatbot. This study is expected to encourage marketing managers to explore more broadly and deeply how to build user trust in the banking industry and its future implications

Abstract

His research aims to determine whether financial literacy, financial self-efficacy, and financial stress influence the financial behavior of PayLater users among millennials and Generation Z in Pontianak City. Using a positive data collection strategy and a sample size of 150 participants, this study adopts an associative methodology. Eligible participants are Pontianak City residents aged 17–44 years and PayLater users. Statistical methods employed in the analysis include multiple linear regression, correlation and determination coefficients, simultaneous testing (F test), and partial testing (t test). The analyzed data is linear, normally distributed, and shows no signs of multicollinearity, as confirmed by the classical assumption test. The research variables exhibit a strong relationship, as indicated by a correlation value of 0.753. According to the coefficient of determination (R²), the variables examined in this study explain 56.7% of the variance in financial behavior, while the remaining 43.3% is influenced by other factors not addressed in this study. Preliminary findings indicate that financial literacy and financial self-efficacy significantly influence financial behavior positively. In contrast, financial stress has a positive effect but is not statistically significant in influencing financial behavior.

This study aims to determine the effect between job involvement, perceived organizational support on job satisfaction. With 45 respondents, using a quantitative approach. The analysis used to examine the data includes instrument test, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, simultaneous F test, and partial t test. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient (R) obtained is 0.626 which indicates that between job involvement, perceived organizational support and job satisfaction have a strong relationship. Simultaneous F test shows that job involvement and perceived organizational support simultaneously have a significant influence on job satisfaction.Partial t test shows that the perceived organizational support variable partially affects job satisfaction.

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, tourism industry companies have experienced losses to bankruptcy. However, in 2022, after the reopening of entertainment and tourism locations, the financial performance of the tourism industry has begun to improve until now. But not all tourism industry companies feel the same way, in fact they are still experiencing losses until now. This can be seen from the value of the company's financial performance as proxied by ROA which is still below the average company health standard of 5.98%. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the determining factors that influence the financial performance of the tourism industry, namely lavarege, firm size or capital structure. The number of research populations is 30 companies, then reduced using purposive sampling to 24 companies with a 4-year research period (2020-2023). This study uses panel data linear regression analysis which is tested using Eviews 14 software. Then, the researcher also conducted a bankruptcy risk analysis on each company. The results of the study indicate that leverage and firm size are determining factors for financial performance, while capital structure is not a determining factor for financial performance in tourism sector companies listed on the IDX in 2020-2023. Then, the results of the determination coefficient show that the research variables used (leverage, firm size and capital structure) have an influence of only 32.3%. And based on the results of the bankruptcy risk analysis, 4 companies were found to be in the "Financial Distress" category, namely PT Citra Putra Realty Tbk, PT Dafam Property Indonesia Tbk, PT Hotel Fitra International Tbk and PT Pembangunan Graha Lestari Indah Tbk.

Abstract

In measuring the good or bad financial behavior of each student sampled through an online questionnaire, researchers measured it using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool with the standard that the higher the influence of student Financial Behavior in each country that is the object of research influences Investment Decisions, the better the Financial Behavior of a student (Sugiyono 2019). This research is a quantitative research with an explanatory approach, namely an approach that makes previous research the spearhead in building argument construction in the article being worked on (Jonathan Sarwono 2016) & (Abdurahman 2016). The data used in this study are primary data that researchers obtained through the distribution of online questionnaires with the same 10 questions for each student who was the object of the sample in the three countries.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and company size on financial performance with audit quality as a moderating variable in companies listed in the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2021-2023. Using a quantitative approach, the study also applied multiple linear regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to test the relationship between variables. The research conducted shows that GCG, as measured by independent commissioners and managerial ownership, has a positive influence on financial performance. Audit quality is proven to moderate the relationship between GCG and financial performance, strengthening the positive influence of GCG on firm performance. These findings make a significant contribution to the development of agency and stakeholder theory, and provide practical recommendations for companies to improve governance and audit quality to improve financial performance. This study also observes research gaps related to the implementation of GCG in Indonesia which is lagging when compared to other ASEAN countries, as well as the need for stricter supervision in the management of companies listed on the IDX.

Abstract

Salted fish Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Malabero Village, Bengkulu City, play a significant role in the local economy. However, these businesses face challenges such as limited market reach, lack of innovation, inefficient production processes, and weak financial management. This study aims to analyze the current business model of salted fish MSMEs using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) framework and propose strategic improvements to enhance their competitiveness and sustainability. The research employs a qualitative approach, including field observations, interviews with business owners, and document analysis. The findings indicate that most MSMEs rely on traditional sales channels, lack product differentiation, and have minimal digital marketing adoption. To address these issues, this study suggests several strategic developments: (1) market expansion through digital platforms and retail partnerships, (2) product innovation with better packaging and value-added variants, (3) adoption of modern processing technologies to improve efficiency, and (4) improved financial management and access to funding.By implementing these strategies, salted fish MSMEs in Malabero Village can strengthen their market position, increase profitability, and ensure long-term sustainability. The study provides practical recommendations for business owners, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to support the growth of the salted fish sector in Bengkulu City.
