Abstract

The Multi Aspect Sustainability Analysis Model is employed as an analytical framework to evaluate the sustainability of kelulut honeybee cultivation in the context of Edu-Tourism development in Kubu Raya Regency. This comprehensive analysis encompasses several key aspects, including educational concepts, ecological considerations, economic implications, and strategic frameworks for promotion and marketing. The findings from this study indicate that under current conditions, kelulut honeybee cultivation is unsustainable for Edu-Tourism development. However, in Scenario 1, marked by a sustainable status, it emerges as the most favorable alternative for the progressive development of Edu-Tourism in the region. It is crucial to recognize that the development of Edu-Tourism based on kelulut honeybee cultivation requires prioritizing several key aspects: education (1), ecology (2), economy (3), and promotional strategies (4), to significantly enhance sustainability values in the Edu-Tourism development process.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of downstream policies on Indonesia's net exports of iron and steel (HS 72) during 2000–2023. The downstream policy, aimed at enhancing value-added and reducing raw material exports, is crucial for improving trade balances and boosting economic growth. Using paired t-tests and Export Product Dynamics (EPD), the study reveals significant increases in total exports (5%, 0.041) and total imports (1%, 0.001), while net export improvements were marginally significant (10%, 0.08). Despite the positive impacts, challenges such as high dependency on imported raw materials and the need for substantial infrastructure investments persist.

Abstract

Avoiding bankruptcy is vital for corporate risk management and governance, impacting both companies and stakeholders. This study analyzes the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices on bankruptcy risk in G20 countries (2016–2023). Using panel data regression analysis, results indicate that strong ESG performance significantly reduces bankruptcy risk, as evidenced by higher Altman Z-Scores. Among the three pillars, the social dimension has the most substantial impact, with initiatives focused on employee welfare and community engagement enhancing operational stability. The study also finds ESG practices more effective in top carbon-emitting countries (China, the U.S., India, Russia, Japan) due to stronger stakeholder demands and access to sustainability investments, whereas other nations face challenges like limited ESG funding and weaker stakeholder pressures.

In this era of global competition, continuous development creates challenges for organizations and demands human resources (HR) to be more creative. Human Resources are valuable assets that need to be considered by companies. This study describes how employee creativity, work engagement, and perceived organizational support (POS) relate to one another in organizations. The association between POS and employee creativity is found to be mediated by work engagement. Data from 123 randomly chosen respondents is analyzed quantitatively in this study using SmartPLS. The analysis's findings show that employee job engagement and creativity are positively impacted by perceived organizational support, with work engagement considerably enhancing this link. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of household catastrophic health expenditure incidents and household characteristics on household multidimensional poverty status in Java Island, Indonesia. The study was conducted quantitatively inferentially based on IFLS 5 data in 2014 obtained from Susenas totaling 8,458 households. The data analysis used logistic regression with ordered logit model. The results of the study revealed that households experiencing catastrophic health expenditure increasingly tend to experience multidimensional poverty. Household characteristics such as the number of family members and the number of toddlers that are getting bigger can also increase this tendency. However, it is different from the level of education and location of residence which can reduce the tendency of households to experience multidimensional poverty.
