Abstract

This study aims at describing the characteristics of Javanese entrepreneurs in facing the digital age, the views and attitudes of Javanese entrepreneurs in entrepreneurship in the digital age, to describe the processes experienced by Javanese ethnic entrepreneurs in facing the digital age. The approach used in this study used a qualitative research approach using the type of case study research, data collection procedures used were observation, and in-depth interviews. In order to be able to obtain the validity of the data, data source triangulation was conducted by comparing the results of the interview findings of business owners as key informants with parents, employees, and customers. The subjects of this study were the owners of two stores in Malang, specifically the owner of Distro Overtoun and Art Printing stores. In this study, it was found that the characteristics of entrepreneurs and the values of Javanese culture can go hand in hand. The views and attitudes taken by the two entrepreneurs are also more open in facing the digital age. Meanwhile, the processes experienced in facing the digital age run efficiently.

Abstract

Increasing the entrepreneurial intentions of university students a being crucial issue. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and analyze the moderator of entrepreneurship education on the relationship between opportunity recognition and green entrepreneurial intentions. This research applied an explanatory survey and questionnaires distributed to 195 students of Economic Education Siliwangi University in Tasikmalaya.  The collected data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results in this study show that opportunity recognition positively impacts students’ green entrepreneurial intention. This study also indicates the role of entrepreneurship education in moderating the relationship between opportunity recognition and green entrepreneurial intention. The implication of the research is to support the formulation of entrepreneurial education initiative that can promote students in entrepreneurial projects either in the present or in the future.Keywords: Entrepreneurship Education, Green Entrepreneurial Intention, Opportunity Recognition.

Abstract

This study aims at analyzing factors that influence green entrepreneurial knowledge on SMEs in West Java. The variables reviewed in this study were the role of entrepreneurship education, media, public figure, and government on green entrepreneurial knowledge. It used explanatory survey to collect data. The population in this study were 4.285 SMEs engaged in the culinary industry in Bandung. The sample retrieval technique employed was the Slovin formula which resulted on 240 respondents. Furthermore, the collected data was analyzed using Multiple Regression Analysis. The results show that the influential factors in increasing green entrepreneurial knowledge are entrepreneurship education, media, public figures, and government both partially and simultaneously. These findings implied that it is essential to improve green entrepreneurial knowledge; it takes the role of media, public figures, entrepreneurship education, and government.Keywords: green entrepreneurial knowledge, media, government, SMEs

Abstract

This research aims to understand the planning, implementation, relevance to student competency skills, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors of the teaching factory. This study involved a qualitative descriptive to gain a better understanding of the phenomenon and incorporated with observation technique, interviews, and documentation. The data in this research was divided into two: primary and secondary data. The primary data were collected from selected informants, and the secondary data was gathered from supporting documents in this research. The collected data further analyzed using the triangulation technique for validity and data reduction to provide a conclusion. The findings indicate that planning is realized by creating an organizational structure that manages the teaching factory. In addition, in planning students to practice in the teaching factory lab and carry out the tasks in the lab, for relevance to the competency skills in the classroom according to the existing basic competence which relevant to the existing practice in the teaching factory lab for the supporting factors, the facilities and infrastructure are already supportive. The human resources are adequate, and the inhibiting factor in terms of assistance from teachers in the lab is still lacking. Keywords: Teaching factory, Online business, Marketing, Students’ activities

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the description of the level of brand engagement and customer loyalty on Twitter social media users in Indonesia. The research design of this study was a cross-sectional method. This study used a descriptive approach and explanatory survey method. A total of 106 respondents were selected by simple random sampling. A questionnaire was used as a research instrument to collect data from respondents. The analysis technique was a descriptive technique by using frequency distribution. Furthermore, the data were calculated using path analysis to gain understanding the relationship between variables. The result of this study showed that brand engagement is in good enough categories, while customer loyalty is in good enough category. The differences in this study located on object research, time research, measuring instruments, literature used, the theory used and the results of the study. Keywords: brand engagement, customer loyalty, social media

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digitalization, along with an ever-shrinking pool of available jobs, needs people to think more productively as changes in the business world’s production methods accelerate. Social entrepreneurship is one strategy for overcoming society’s entrepreneurial problems, including financial constraints, managerial capabilities, limited networks, and a lack of government support. The purpose of this study is to ascertain and assess residents’ entrepreneurial motivations, social competency, and sociopreneur potential in Salamrejo Village, Karangan District, Trenggalek Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach in conjunction with explanatory research approaches. This study included 4812 individuals and randomly selected 98 samples. A closed questionnaire with a five Likert Scale was utilized to collect data in this investigation. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed on the data using the SPSS application. The findings of this study reveal that entrepreneurial motivation has a significant influence on sociopreneurs, whereas social competence has no significant effect on sociopreneurs. The study concludes that community entrepreneurship motivation is critical in building community excitement for developing a sociopreneur lifestyle that aspires to impact economic development.Keywords: Entrepreneurial Motivation, Social Competence, Sociopreneur
