Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pemanfaatan video sebagai solusi pembelajaran matematika online di kelas VIII MTs N 6 Bantul. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs N 6 Bantul, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VIII D. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara random sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September-Oktober Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah model Miles dan Huberman. dimana pembelajaran dilakukan secara online, menunjukkan respon yang sangat positif dengan skor rata-rata 3,50 Aspek penilaian sendiri terbagi menjadi dua yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal Penilaian tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sangat positif yang menunjukkan skor keseluruhan yang dimiliki siswa. persepsi yang sangat positif terhadap video pembelajaran matematika kelas VIII ini

Abstract

This study aims to determine student errors in solving PISA-oriented SPLDV questions with change and relationship content in class VIII SMP Unismuh Makassar based on the Newman error procedure. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were giving tests and interviews. The instrument used was a written test in the form of a description of two numbers adapted from the PISA questions and interviews of students who were selected as research subjects to ensure mistakes made when solving the questions. The researcher chose four students as research subjects from 19 students of class VIIIA 1 based on the most mistakes made to be interviewed. The data analysis technique was carried out by the stages of data reduction, data presentation, data verification and drawing conclusions. Student error analysis refers to errors with the Newman stage which consists of 4 categories, namely errors in understanding the problem, errors in transforming the problem, errors in processing skills and errors in writing the final answer. The results showed that the most errors were made by FQ students. The research subjects who were then interviewed were SM on the type of understanding error, ST on the type of transformation error, SP on the error type of process skills and SK on the type of error in writing the final answer.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Government of Indonesia made the policy described in circular No. 4 of 2020 on the Implementation of Education Policy in the Emergency Period of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19), which is learning activities conducted online or online. The Government of Indonesia created a program for the sustainability of learning activities, namely Distance Learning (PJJ). Then the government issued a new policy on the implementation of limited face-to-face learning that can be implemented from July 2021. PTM is limited to 2 to 3 meetings in 1 week. For one face-to-face meeting there are 3 hours of lessons, combined with PJJ. Therefore, this study intends to analyze the extent to which the success of face-to-face learning is limited to the new normal to the results of student mathematics learning, so that an overview can later be used as a reference and further improvement material for Madrasah during limited PTM adaptation. The research method used is qualitative research. The study was conducted in November 2021.The location of the study is Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kulon Progo.The subject of this study is students of class XI MIPA 2 even and odd school year 2020/2021 numbered 28 children. Research nstruments are used using field observations, interviews, tests, and field records. Students' learning outcomes meet the classical minimum completion criteria. The data obtained shows that the average learning outcome of students' mathematics is 83.3 with the completion of learning classically only 100%.Thus the student's mathematical learning outcomes can be categorized into sufficient categories. The implementation of ptm limited in MA Negeri 2 Kulon Progo is well implemented.This is in accordance with limited PTM implementation guidelines during the new normal period which of course by applying strict health protocols.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes through the TPS type cooperative learning model. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects consisted of 32 students which were carried out in 2 cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. Students' mathematics learning outcomes increased through the Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Model. This can be seen from the learning outcomes of the first cycle which are in the medium, with an average score of 59.22 from the ideal score of 100.00, an increase in the category in the second cycle which is in the high category with an average score of 72.97 of the score. ideally 100.00. Students' motivation to learn Mathematics has increased through the Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Model. This increase can be seen from the experience of students, attention, and activeness of students in the teaching and learning process in accordance with the results of observations during implementation actions and from the results of student reflections.

Abstract

The essence of mathematics is a concept, so learning mathematics requires special ways to learn and teach it.Vision of the development mathematics learning to fill the needs of the present, directing mathematics learning to understanding mathematical concepts / principles which are needed to solve mathematical problems and other scientific problems.However, most of students are still unable to solve mathematical problems because their understanding ability has not developed as they should. Understanding the concept makes it easier for students to solve problems because students will be able to link and solve these problems with provision concepts that are understood.So the approach is needed to improve students' understanding of concept skills. The alternative that  used is to apply the metaphorical thinking approach. This study aims to determine the effect of the metaphorical thinking approach on the students ability  to understand the concepts in Class VIII.3 Islamic Athirah 2 Makassar.the type of this research is a pre-experimental with of The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all class VIII at SMP Islamic Athirah 2 Makassar and selected class VIII.3 representing the population.Data collection techniques in this study are tests of concept comprehension ability which are then analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using t test. Based on the results of the study, both from the results of analysis or hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the metaphorical thinking approach affects the ability to understand the concept of students in class VIII at SMP Islamic Athirah 2 Makassar.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic forced the learning system requires online-based learning which has several challenges not only for teachers but also students and their parents. This pandemic makes students tend to be degraded in terms of mentality, confidence in their abilities and accessibility in the use of appropriate learning applications. Hence, this study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of students' perceptions on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth graders using ex-post facto method. The research population is all students of SDN in Malili District. Then a sample of 80 students was drawn by cluster random sampling. The research instrument used was a test instrument for learning outcomes and a mathematical belief questionnaire as well as a student perception questionnaire about online learning applications which analyzed descriptively and inferentially using multiple tests. The results of this study indicate that students' perceptions of online learning applications and Mathematics students' beliefs have a positive effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes at SDN Malili District with a determination of 42.7% and 51.8%, respectively. Students' perceptions of online learning applications and mathematical beliefs simultaneously have a positive effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes with a determination of 61.8%. As a result of this research, there should be further development in complementary dimensions in the form of learning enrichment and remedial applications.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the procedure for developing flat-sided geometry learning tools with the Project Based Learning model to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities and to find out the validity of flat-sided geometry learning devices with Project Based Learning models to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The tools developed in this research are Student Project Worksheets and evaluation tools using a project based learning model. The research on the development of this learning device uses the Research and Development (RnD) type of research. To produce these learning tools, development research refers to the Plomp development model which consists of three phases, namely the Preliminary Phase, the Development or Prototyping Phase, and the Assessment Phase. development research produces learning tools for flat-sided shapes with a project based learning model to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities and produce valid learning tools with the results of validating learning tools in the form of LKPS getting an average result of 4,33 including in the very valid category and for learning tools in the form of an evaluation tool got an average result of 4.24 included in the very valid category

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe mathematical problem solving abilities in terms of learning motivation on the material of class XI students at SMK Negeri 4 Gowa. This type of research is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Researchers chose 3 students from 30 students who were used as research subjects, these three students represented each of the three categories of learning motivation, namely high, medium, and low learning motivation. The instruments in this study were a learning motivation questionnaire, a problem-solving ability test, and an interview guide. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, tests, and interviews. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results of the research on students' mathematical problem solving abilities based on Polya's steps that appeared at the time of the study: (1) students who had high learning motivation were able to meet the 4 indicators of problem solving ability according to Polya's steps (2) students who had moderate learning motivation were only able to meet 3 indicators of the 4 indicators of problem solving according to Polya's steps (3) students who have low learning motivation are only able to fulfill 2 of the 4 indicators of problem solving abilities according to Polya's steps. It was concluded that students with high and moderate learning motivation had good mathematical problem solving abilities, while students with low learning motivation had poor mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan atau korelasi antara efikasi diri dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 229 siswa dari kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Kota Makasar tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Stratified Proportional Random  Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini  menggunakan instrument angket efikasi diri dan angket motivasi belajar. Data dianalisis dengan statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaBerdasarkan hasil perhitungan teknik analisis korelasi diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,738. Korelasi kedua variable tersebut berada pada kategori kuat. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan motivasi belajar. Semakin tinggi efikasi diri maka semakin tinggi pila motivasi belajar. Sebaliknya semakin rendah efikasi diri maka semakin rendah pula motivasi belajarsiswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Kota Makassar.

Abstract

The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic that hit our country greatly affected the world of education, the change in the learning process from face to face to online resulted in a change in the learning atmosphere for students, as well as student interest in learning. This change in the learning process of course resulted in students' understanding of mathematical concepts being also affected.This study aims to determine the description of the learning climate, interest in learning, and understanding of mathematical concepts for fifth grade elementary school students in Malili District during the Covid-19 pandemic both simultaneously and simultaneously. partially. This type of research is ex-post facto. In this study, the population was all fifth grade elementary school students in Malili District, with a sample of 80 people by random sampling. Data on learning climate and interest in learning were obtained using a questionnaire and mathematics learning outcomes using tests. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis to describe the characteristics of each variable and inferential analysis to test the research hypothesis used regression test. The results showed that the learning climate of elementary school students V in Malili District was in the low category, interest in learning was in the high category, while understanding of mathematical concepts was in the high category. There is an influence of learning climate on students' understanding of mathematical concepts, there is an influence of interest in learning on students' understanding of mathematical concepts and there is an influence of learning climate and interest in learning on students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This research provides information for educators regarding the influence of learning climate and interest in learning on students' understanding of mathematical concepts and becomes a reference for further researchers
