Abstract

This study aims to utilize household waste and used MOL (Micro-Organism-Local). MOL is used to assist the process of decomposition in composting. This study aims to isolate the bacterial origin of MOL with media of different organic materials and the application of the isolated bacteria as a biological fertilizer. Stages of research involved isolating bacteria from MOL vegetables, then do purification. The next stage is to identify the bacteria colony morphology that includes forms, cells, and Gram. This research is expected to contribute to the field, namely: the development of science, research methodology. First, for science to improve information research methods, research for further development activities for people who have an interest in the processing of biological fertilizers and organic fertilizers. Second, the methodology how to obtain microbes for use in applied research. The results were obtained bacterial isolates were collected from three kinds of treatment samples MOL namely MOL to-I (waste vegetable, sugar, rice water), II (vegetable waste, brown sugar, rice water), and III (waste vegetable, sugar sand, coconut water). The result of the isolation and purification of bacteria obtained amounted to 79 types of bacterial isolates comprising 23 species of bacteria from the sample MOL to-1, 30 species of bacteria from the sample to the MOL-II, and 24 types of bacteria from the sample to-III. Overall the data obtained from the sample to the MOL-I, II, and III of the highest number of bacterial cells present in the sample to the MOL-II with a number of types of bacteria most. This type of bacteria that is known at the time T0, T1.

Abstract

Results of the classification of living beings learning reflection data showed 54 % of students pass the study and 45 % of students have not been thoroughly studied, so that the necessary process of learning improvement. The purpose of this study improve learning achievement IPA material classification of living things. The study design using classroom action research (PTK) through the application of math matching method. Research conducted at SMPN 2 Kwadungan Ngawi, research subjects students of class VII A numbered 24 students, Data collection techniques with methods of observation and tests. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed , the application of math matching methods improve learning achievement, the first cycle value completeness 63 %, 71 % second cycle and third cycle 92 %, the average value of the first cycle class 72.4, 72.4 second cycle, and the cycle III 78.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the development of the learning model Reciprocal Teaching  Pair Share (RTPS) in improving student learning outcomes microbiology and testing the effectiveness of the learning model Reciprocal Teaching Pair Share (RTPS) in improving student learning outcomes at the Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo. The model used in this research is the development model of Thiagarajan 4D (1974). The 4D model has four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Design test for individual testing and small scale trial is descriptive, whereas for largescale field trials using quasi-experimental. Data were analyzed using General Linear Model (GLM)-Multivariate SPSS 16. The results showed that the development model of reciprocal teaching decentpair share used in learning activities. The results of large-scale trial could be concluded no effect onthe learning model of cognitive learning outcomes of students. Besides the development of a model reciprocal teaching pair share effective in improving student learning outcomes microbiology Budi Utomo Malang Teachers' Training College.

Abstract

One of the solutions to pursue lack of the aquaculture technology is to provide a training program for fish farmer.This research was used using the analysis of factors affecting the training effectiveness. Objective of the research were to measure the causality relations of the training equipment factor, the quality of the participants and the material, the provision of the training methods, and the quality of the trainers toward the effectiveness of training program. Object ofthe research was the Purnawidya of aquaculture training in the Banyuwangi Training Center which spread out in 3 provinces with over 105 participated. Data were analyzed by using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results shows that equipments have a positive significant impact toward the effectiveness of the training and the efficiency of the aquaculture performance. The quality of the training and the material, the methods, and the quality of the trainers notsignificant impacted the of effectiveness of the training program. The result recommends that the Banyuwangi Training Center need to improve the criteria for selecting the participants, the quality of the materials, and to improve the quality of the trainers.

Abstract

Research activities have been studied extensively to improve the quality of learning, especially in higher education. This research aims to explore the mastery of the term of research ( TR or IR ) and research skills (RS or KR) of toward of grade point average (GPA or IPK). This research uses a quantitative approach to the object of students in natural science education program a number of 67 people who follow biotechnology courses academic year 2017/2018. Data collection with tests and aggregation of documentation. Data analysis technique is done by quantitative descriptive analysis. The decision indicates that the exact number of IR is 66.0 (easy category) and KS is 65.8 (short category). The result of correlation analysis shows ???????????????????????? = 6,147˃ 3,140 = ???????????????????????? = (0,05;2;64) or in other words there a relationship of IR and KR collectively to GPA. This study concludes that there is a significant correlation between IR and KR guards in the same period as the GPA. Based on the investigation, it is expected to provide benefits as one of the considerations for the selection and determination of learning mods related to learning. It is expected to be useful as a consideration for the selection and determination of study-related modes for improvement.

Abstract

Archiving and dissemination of data , techniques, and observations of Cyanophyta required for optimization of succesfully low plant systematics studies. This paper aims to present the preparation techniques and the results of Cyanophyta algae observing with light microscope and digitaly camera. Sources accurate specimen was also informed by the author repeatedly experience in organizing learning plant systematics. Preparation and microscopic observation Cyanophyta consists of preparation of accurate source of specimens , microscopic observation to obtain optimum picture of the object and focus , shooting or recording images using a digital camera. The image files are stored and are equipped with a scale.Results of preparation , observation and shooting showed that cells and colonies all Cyanophyta (Oscillatoria , Anabaena , Nostoc ) has a similar size range that requires preparation to optimize the use of the same light microscop . Cells of Cyanophyta colonies can be seen clearly in the eyepiece magnification of 10x and 40x objective. Less than that magnification, The thalus of Cyanophyta difficult to observe because of the relatively small cell size compared to the size of eukaryotic cells. By shooting with digitaly camera, microscopy observation images can be captured as digital specimen. Observing the digitaly specimen does not change depending on season and time. The digital images can also be analyzed and studied further.

Abstract

The aim of research to determine the type of stomata in the leaves of plants Xerophyte euphorbia (Euphorbia splendens), mesofit plant Hibiscus (Hibiscus rosasinensis), as well as hidrofit kale plant (Ipomoea aquatica). The research methods is descriptive qualitative to describe and interpret the type of stomata on the leaves. Type of stomata on the leaves of Xerophyte is anomositik. Mesofit plant hibiscus (Hibiscus rosasinensis) has a parasitic type of stomata. Hidrofit plant (Ipomoea aquatica) is anisositik, that is cells surrounded cover three neighboring cells that are not as great.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk  mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran biologi dengan Guided Inquiry Model terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dan prestasi belajar siswa. Subyek penelitian adalah kelas XI IPA3 SMAN 6 Madiun  yang berjumlah 34 siswa.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 (tiga) siklus.  Setiap siklus meliputi empat tahap yaitu: 1). Perencanaan, 2) Pelaksanaan Tindakan, 3) Observasi, 4) Refleksi. Data didapat dari hasil observasi keterampilan proses sains, dan nilai prestasi belajar siswa berdasarkan Post tes dan Ulangan harian. Uji coba soal Ulangan harian telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui validitas, tingkat kesulitan, dan daya beda soal. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah analisa deskriptif yang meliputi: 1) Deskripsi data, 2) Pembahasan, dan 3) Kesimpulan

Abstract

Sungai Cikaniki merupakan salah satu sungai yang berhulu di Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak (TNGHS) terletak di Kabupaten Bogor dipilih sebagai lokasi penelitian dikarenakan sepanjang aliran sungai Cikaniki mendapat masukkan senyawa yang berasal dari pemukiman maupun industri yang menggunakan sianida dan merkuri untuk ekstraksi bijih emas. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama bulan Maret – Juni 2019. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) Menganalisis kondisi sungai Cikaniki berdasarkan bioindikator makrofauna, 2) Menganalisis nilai indeks pencemaran sungai Cikaniki 3) Mengetahui korelasi antara Kelimpahan Makrofauna dengan nilai indeks pencemaran sungai Cikaniki. Pemilihan stasiun pengamatan secara terpilih (purposive sampling) yaitu berdasarkan pertimbangan terwakilinya keadaan perairan. Analisis status mutu air sungai dilakukan menggunakan metode indeks pencemaran yang telah dianggap komprehensif menurut Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Republik Indonesia Nomor 115 Tahun 2003. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan status mutu air sungai pada Sungai Cikaniki di semua stasiun adalah cemar ringan. Kata kunci : status mutu air sungai, indeks pencemaran, sungai cikaniki

Abstract

Blood is part of the body which has 6-8 % of total body weight which include of the blood cell and plasma. Thrombocyte is one of component in the blood which has an important function in blood coagulation. This study is aimed to evaluate the influence of the sex and age of donor on the number of thrombocyte. Blood sample were collected at Blood Transfusion Unit of Malang. This research using cases study whose use to observe the number of thrombocyte in man and woman donor at different age. Total of 40 sample (20 of each sex) whose classified as ≤31, 31-40, 41-50 and ≥ 51 years of age. The number of thrombocyte which determined by hemocytometer   and observe  under microscope   (magnification:   100 ).  The collected data where analyze by unpaired T-test for man and woman one. While Anova whose use to analyze the differences between ages interval both in the man and woman.  Duncan test (5%) whose  use  to  determine  the  significant different between ages group. The  result  show  that  the  number  of  thrombocyte  whose  significantly higher (P<0,05) than those in the woman (245.750 + 76300 vs 201.750 + 61564). The age of donor whose significantly influence on the number of thrombocyte (P<0,05) both in the man and woman. The number of thrombocyte degrees significantly by increasing the age. However for the both sex can donor the blood of more than 51 years of age.
