Abstract

The project-Based Learning (PjBL) model is a learning model that identifies, through research, real-world problems, from local to global, and develops solutions using evidence to support claims, offers solutions using multimodal approach to a presentation based on a set of 21st century skills. This research aims to analyze the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model based on video content in learning the basic concepts of science for students. This descriptive research uses phenomenological approach, which is a study that describes the meaning of individuals regarding their experience of a concept or phenomenon. The data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The interactive analysis model from Matthew B Miles and Hubermen is used for data analysis. The model technically consists of 4 (four) main phases: data collection, data reduction or simplification, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The analysis results show that the implementation of the PjBl learning model is effective, as seen from the students activities which closely complies to the steps. In addition, students are more creative, active, and innovative in learning science and show more confidence. Students are also more independent in learning about the topic they are interested in and becoming tutors for their friends

Abstract

Utilization of Soybean Dregs Into Crackers To Improve the Skills of the Wakah Village Community of Ngrambe Subdistrict, Ngawi RegencyAbstract. Wakah Village is one of the tofu industry villages in Ngrambe, Ngawi Regency. Tofu waste in Setono Village has not been used optimally. Solid tofu waste has nutritional content that can still be used as a potential culinary product. The product developed is soybean crackers. This community empowerment program was carried out in July 2019 with 30 participants. The method used is the delivery of material, making raw crackers, frying crackers, and packaging the product. In general, the training went well. The level of understanding of the material and skills of participants was 90%. The result show that tofu industry waste can be used as soybean crackers. An increase in the knowledge and skills of the Wakah Village community in processing tofu industrial waste into soybean crackers.Keywords: Pulp, soybean, crackers, Wakah.Abstrak. Desa Wakah merupakan salah satu desa industri tahu di Kecamatan Ngrambe Kabupaten Ngawi. Limbah tahu di Desa Setono belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Limbah tahu padat mempunyai kandungan gizi yang masih dapat digunakan sebagai produk kuliner yang potensial. Produk yang kembangkan adalah kerupuk ampas kedelai. Program pemberdayaan masyarakat ini dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2019 dengan peserta sejumlah 30 orang. Metode yang dilakukan adalah penyampaian materi, pembuatan kerupuk mentah, menggoreng kerupuk, dan mengemas produk. Secara umum pelatihan berjalan lancar. Tingkatpemahaman materi dan keterampilan peserta sejumlah 90%. Hasil dari program ini adalah limbah industri tahu dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi kerupuk ampas kedelai.  Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Wakah dalam mengolah limbah industri tahu menjadi kerupuk ampas kedelai. Kata Kunci: Ampas, kedelai, kerupuk, Wakah.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan warga retardasi mental Dusun Sidowayah, Sidoharjo, Jambon, Ponorogo, Jawa Timur dalam beternak kambing. Program ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan April-November 2019. Sedangkan metodenya menggunakan akon-akon kambing. Metode ini merupakan teknik pemeliharaan kambing milik orang lain dan dianggapnya miliknya sendiri, bagi hasil dan pengelolaan bergulir. Hasilnya  pelaksanaan kegiatan akon-akon ini, warga retardasi mental termotivasi dan keterampilannya beternak menjadi meningkat. Peningkatannya ditunjukan memberi perlakuan awal pada kambing peliharaannya sebesar 29,55%, memberi perlakuan harian 11,93%, memberi perlakuan musiman 20,5%, dan memberi perlakuan akhir 22,5%. Investasi program ini dalam 151 hari telah kembali modal dan mendapatkan keuntungan dalam bentuk anak kambing dan uang dari penjualan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop vertebrate zoological modules that are integrated with scientific inquiry. Method in this study is Research and Development (R&D) which refers to ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluate). This study used 2 validators and 10 students for small-scale trials. The results show that in the requirement analysis phase, students need modules that match the characteristics of learning in theory and practice. The desired module is a module that can assist in the process of understanding the material and practicum. Design stage includes content design and layout. The contents consist of 8 chapters namely introduction, Zoological Classification, Taxonomy of Vertebrate, Pisces, Amphibians, Reptiles, Mammals and Aves. Layouts are arranged attractively and interactively in each chapter. Development stage consists of integrating the scientific inquiry into the module. Expert validation shows that module of zoologyvertebrate  integrated by scientific inquiry is feasible to use. Implementing stage with small-scale test show that this module is also feasible to use. The evaluation phase contains inputs and suggestions for module improvements.

Abstract

This sresearch aims to apply the SETS approach (Sceince, Environment, Technology, and Social) to improve scientific literacy through understanding science concepts, basic science process skills and scientific work on science learning for fifth grade students of SDN 02 Mojorejo Madiun City. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. each cycle has 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. the subjects in this study are fifth grade students of SDN 02 Mojorejo. The results of the study using the SETS approach (Sceince, Environment, Technology, and Social) in natural science learning showed an increase in scientific literacy, namely the maintenance of the science concept in terms of an increase in the class average value with a cycle value of 76.71 and an increase in 77 in cycle II. 81, there are basic process skills in students in the first cycle 30% and second cycle 60% and the scientific attitude of students in the second cycle that shows high categories, namely very good. Based on the results of the above study it can be concluded that the use of the SETS approach (Sceince, Environment, Technology, and Social) can improve scientific literacy through understanding the science concept, basic process skills and scientific work of students at SDN 02 Mojorejo Madiun in science learning with green plant matter.

Abstract

Garbage accumulation, especially plastic waste, is a global problem that must be addressed immediately because it will have an impact on the existence of the environment. The purpose of this service program is to support the Government's 3R program in reducing the volume of waste in Indonesia by internalizing the character of caring for the environment while increasing the skills of the Teguhan Village Mentari Garbage Bank management by utilizing plastic waste to make beautiful bags so they are useful. Participants in this service were 32 people consisting of the Management of the Mentari Garbage Bank and members of the Teguhan Mentari Garbage Bank. Community service activities are carried out in the multi-purpose building of Dusun 4 Teguhan village for 3 days, 11-13 December 2022. The service is carried out by arranging permits, recording the number of members of the Mentari Waste Bank and administrators, socializing inorganic waste recycling materials and mentoring and evaluating activities. The results of this community service resulted in a material understanding of the Government's 3R program with quite good achievements with an average of 83%. Knowledge of 3R and the environmental care movement made the participants wiser and more concerned about the environment. The participants received and absorbed training materials on the 3R program and the skills to process inorganic waste properly. Furthermore, the participants can demonstrate directly how to make bags from inorganic waste using certain techniques so that the results obtained can be interesting and of good quality.

Abstract

Peserta didik harus mempunyai kemampuan sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional, satu di antara kemampuan tersebut adalah kemampuan berhitung pengurangan bersusun pada mata pelajaran matematika. Peserta didik menganggap matematika masih sulit dan menyeramkan. Hasil tes pra-siklus peserta didik kelas 2 SDN Pangongangan juga diperoleh hasil kemampuan berhitung pengurangan bersusun masih rendah dengan persentase ketuntasan 39% dari 23 peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, dengan pengumpulan data dari hasil observasi dan wawancara guru kelas menghasilkan penyelesaian masalah menggunakan media pembelajaran Parang (Papan Pengurangan). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran Parang (Papan Pengurangan) menghasilkan persentase ketuntasan 57% pada siklus 1.  Tetapi dari siklus 1 belum mencapai target dan masih perlu peningkatan sehingga dilakukan refleksi dan pelaksanaan siklus 2, setelah pelaksanaan siklus 2 mendapatkan hasil persentase ketuntasan 91% sehingga meningkat 34% dari siklus 1. Berdasar penelitian tindakan kelas tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Parang (Papan Pengurangan) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung pengurangan bersusun peserta didik kelas 2 SDN Pangongangan.

Abstract

Jenjang pendidikan sekolah dasar memiliki kecenderungan menggunakan media belajar yang menarik dan inovatif sehingga anak-anak bisa tertatik dan mudah dalam memahami materi yng disampaikan oleh guru. Hal ini tentu saja menjadi sebuah tantangan tersendiri bagi duru agar mau terus belajar dan melakukan inovasi dalam penggunaaan media pembelajaran khususnya agar anak-anak tidak merasa bosan. Untuk itu disini penulis akan melakukan penelitian tentang pentingnya penerapan media pembelajaran inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai: 1) penerapan media inovatif; 2) peran media (inovatif); dan 3) dampak penerapan media inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa tentang penerapan media PGSD inovaif dalam pembelajaran matematika sekolah dasar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1 B SD Negeri Pangongangan Kota Madiun sebanyak 23 anak. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah teknik dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Secara umum media inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika SD diterapkan melalui tahapan pendahuluan, inti dan penutup. Mempelajari nuansa permainan, memuat simulasi atau manipulasi, dan bekerja dalam kelompok; 2) diperlukan adanya media (inovatif) pada tahap elaborasi (penjelasan konsep) pada kegiatan inti, sebagai klarifikasi dan penegasan terhadap kegiatan inti dan penutup; dan 3) dampak penerapan media inovatif bagi guru dan siswa, yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam memegang dan menggunakan media, mengorganisasikan materi dan mengatur waktu pembelajaran secara efektif; meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa (keterlibatan siswa dalam belajar siswa dan ketekunan dalam menyelesaikan tugas kelompok/individu).

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna mendeskripsikan Pengaruh modl pembelajaran circ (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) berbantuan media Flash card terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa SD. Pada penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode kuantitatif yang berkiatan atas permasalahan yang ialah hubungan sebab-akibat diantara dua variabel maupun lebih. Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis peneliti yang sudah ditetapkan dan dilakukan dengan uji statistik untuk menganalisis data. Populasi dari siswa SDN Sudimoro 01 kelas IA berjumlah 19 siswa serta kelas IB berjumlah 18 siswa dengan jumlah sampel 37 siswa. Instrumen pada penelitian ini berupa tes soal. Berdasarkan uji Hipotesiss hasil uji t (independent sample test) menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung (8,757) > ttabel (2,060) dan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini berarti bahwa hipotesis atau Ha diterima. Artinya, adaa pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC (cooperative integrated reading and composition) berbantuan media flashcard terhadap kemampuaan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas 1 SD.
