Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted in class XI. The research subjects consisted of one masculine male student and one feminine female student. The research instrument used a Gender Test, Interview Guidelines and Problem Solving Tasks (TPM). The data collection technique used in this research was the problem solving task-based interview technique. The technique of testing the validity of the data used time triangulation. The data analysis technique used was reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Based on the data analysis that has been done, the following conclusions are obtained. The profile of understanding the concept of masculine male students in solving linear programming problems includes: writing what is known and what is asked which is emphasized by the presence of a question mark "?", Taking x and y without being interpreted on a graph using the two equations to find the points ( x, y), finds the arithmetic error from substituting the points (x, y) that have been determined by yourself to the objective function, and reread the results of the work without recalculation. The profile of understanding the concept of feminine female students in solving linear program problems includes: writing down what is known and what is asked by considering x and y, forming equations using the x and y assumptions and interpreting it into a graph, substituting the points (x, y) has assigned itself to the objective function so that the results of problem solving are obtained, and re-read the results of their work by recalculating.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop a coursebook that can be used to support the activities of Science learning of the first semester at Grade 6 of SDN Sambungrejo Sukodono This Research & Development intended for a learning resource. The research used the development model of Dick and Carey. The subjects of research trials were 50 students and a teacher at the school. The instruments for data collection utilized were the interview, the sheet of expert validation for lecturers and practitioners of education, assessment from expert lecturers, school superintendent, principal, classroom teacher and students. The research results revealed that the eligibility level of the science coursebook based on each aspect of the assessment including feasibility aspects of content obtained an average score 4.086 as "good" category with the level of appropriateness of 81.7%; feasibility aspect of presentation gets an average score of 4.307 as "very good" category with 86.1% eligibility level; on the feasibility of the language, earning an average score of 4.388 "very good" category with the level of appropriateness of 87.75%; While on the graphic aspects it obtained an average score 4.302 as "very good" category with the level of appropriateness of 86%. To conclude, the science coursebook for the first semester and the sixth grade students overall gained an average score 4.271 with "good" category and level eligibility 85.54%. Thus, this book stated feasibility.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the performance of clinical supervision in improving the science learning process at SDN 05 Sawahan, Padang City. This research is a classroom action with the research object of the principal and teachers of SDN 05 Sawahan. Where the technique of reading data by interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study focus on clinical supposition activities carried out by the principal on teacher administration and the learning process in the classroom. This clinical supervision activity can help teachers solve problems that teachers during the classroom learning process in science learning, can motivate teachers to improve their teaching and professional skills in implementing classroom learning. Inhibiting factors based on the principal's knowledge and teacher's skills in carrying out clinical supervision in accordance with the procedures and stages of clinical supervision.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menyajikan konsep dalam berbagai bentuk representasi matematis pada siswa SMP berdasarkan Teori Pirie dan Kieren. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Kota Serang. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menyajikan konsep dalam berbagai macam bentuk representasi matematis  pada siswa SMP dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga tipe jawaban yaitu: 1) tipe jawaban inventising (menemukan) di mana siswa sudah memenuhi lapisan pemahaman image having, formalising, observing, dan inventising, 2) tipe jawaban observing (mengamati) di mana siswa sudah memenuhi lapisan pemahaman image having, formalising, dan observing, dan 3) tipe jawaban formalising (memfromalkan) di mana siswa sudah memenuhi lapisan pemahaman image having dan formalising. This study aims to describe the ability to present concepts in various forms of mathematical representation in junior high school students based on Pirie-Kieren’s theory. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this research is VIII grade students of SMPN 4 Kota Serang. Data collected by test and interview methods. The results of this study indicate that the ability to present concepts in various forms of mathematical representation in junior high school students can be classified into three types of answers, namely: 1) the type of answer is inventising where students have fulfilled the layer of understanding: image having, formalising, observing, and inventising, 2) the type of answer is observing where students have fulfilled the layer of understanding: image having, formalising, and observing, and 3) the type of answer is formalising where students have fulfilled the layer of understanding: image having and formalising.

Abstract

Kemandirian balajar merupakan suatu sikap siswa yang memiliki inisiatif sendiri untuk belajar, memiliki keinginan untuk menguasai kompetensi, memiliki rasa percaya diri dan juga tanggung jawab terhadap tugasnya sebagai peserta didik serta tidak bergantung pada orang lain. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, media bukan saja sebagai alat bantu yang dapat membantu dan mempermudah guru dalam menyampaikan materi akan tetapi media pembelajaran juga harus dapat memotivasi dan membangun keinginan siswa untuk belajar. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dekat dengan dunia anak salah satunya media pembelajaran berbasis android. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh mobile learning berbasis android terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam metode eksperimen ini yaitu One-Shot Case Study. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian terbukti bahwa penggunaan mobile learning berbasis android berpengaruh terhadap kemandirian belajar matematika siswa, sehingga mobile learning berbasis android bisa menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran bagi guru untuk menumbuhkan kemandirian belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

Hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan beberapa siswa yang dilakukan di MTs Negeri 1 Aceh Tamiang ditemukan bahwa siswa sulit mempelajari matematika dikarenakan hanya berpaduan pada buku cetak yang dibagikan di sekolah. Salah satu bahan ajar yang dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi siswa adalah dengan menggunakan Hypothetical Mathematical Learning Trajectory. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kriteria kevalidan dari desain Hypothetical Mathematical Learning Trajectory pada dimensi tiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan metode penelitian kombinasi model sequential exploratory dengan design research yang meliputi Preparing for the experiment, Experiment in the classroom., dan Restrospective analysis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa desain Hypothetical Mathematical Learning Trajectory pada dimensi tiga memiliki kriteria valid. Abstract

This study describes high school students' reasoning profiles in solving logic problems based on impulsive and reflective cognitive styles. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study consisted of one impulsive cognitive style student and one reflective cognitive style student. The supporting instruments used were the Matching Familiar Figure Test (MFFT) cognitive style test, interview guidelines, and problem-solving tasks (TPM). The data collection technique uses the problem solving task-based interview technique. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, concluding / verification. The results showed that impulsive students solved the problem by changing the implication sentence from the question to the implication symbol, then making a truth table from the implication equivalence. Still, there were errors in writing the symbol of one of the statements. Next, the impulsive students wrote and mentioned the statement sentences obtained as a result of completion. Impulsive students provide reasons or evidence for one or several solutions by determining the second statement as an official statement and writing an example of an office sentence with universal and exponential quantor symbols. Reflective students solve problems by writing down what is known and what is asked from the questions, then underlining each statement, and marking it with a statement symbol. Then the students wrote the implication sentence with the implication symbol. Furthermore, the reflective students wrote down and mentioned the solutions obtained while circling the results obtained. With a tone of doubt, the students said the sentence "negation of implications in the form of symbols.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Creative Problem Solving disertai LKS terhadap hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa pada materi Pencemaran Lingkungan kelas VII SMPN 2 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design) dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VIID sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIG sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah dengan cara Intact Group. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 20 butir soal. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model Creative Problem Solving disertai LKS sebesar 17,89 lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 16,94. Dari uji U Mann Whitney, diperoleh yaitu 5,33 > 1,96, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model Creative Problem Solving disertai LKS dan pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,65 termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 24,22%. Hasil motivasi belajar kelas eksperimen yaitu 85,6% tergolong sangat kuat dan kelas kontrol yaitu 79,5% tergolong kuat.

Abstract

Di TCO skema dibagi menjadi 3 bagian, pertama berdasar komponen, kedua berdasar klasifikasi dan ketiga berdasarkan tingkatan. Berdasar komponen aktivasi skema dibagi menjadi releasing, effecting dan terminal. Pascual Leone mengkalisifikasikan skema menjadi 3 kriteria yaitu modalitas, level dan jenis. Berdasarkan tingkatan skema dibagi menjadi 2 yaitu tingkatan subyektif dan metasubyektif. Dalam penelitian ini aktivasi skema digali berdasarkan jenis skema yaitu skema figurative dan skema operatif. Skema figurative menyatakan keberadaan dan skema operatif menyatakan suatu transformasi. Obyek-obyek, konfigurasi, konsep, makna dan status mental adalah representasi skema figurative dalam pikiran, sedangkan skema operatif merepresentasikan aksi, proses, operasi dan tranformasi yang dimulai dari satu keberadaan dengan yang lain..  Dalam penelitian ini dua indikator yang dipakai adalah kelengkapan (komplit) untuk skema figurative dan keteratura (regulary) untuk aktivasi skema operatif. Kelengkapan aktivasi skema figurative dilihat dari obyek-obyek, konfigurasi, konsep, makna dan status mental adalah representasi skema figurative dalam pikiran, sedangkan keteraturan aktivasi skema dilihat pada aksi, proses, operasi dan tranformasi dalam pikiran. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan melihat gejala-gejala dari subyek tentang aktivasi skema dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Setelah subyek dipilih melalui tes dan terpilih dengan kemampuan matematika rendah, sedang dan tinggi dan diberi tugas pemecahan masalah kemudian diwawancarai.. Setealah wawancara, peneliti mendapat kesimpulan siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi mempunyai aktivasi skema yang lengkap dan teratur dalam menyelesaikan maslah, siswa dengan kemampuan sedang mempunyai aktiovasi skema yang tidak lengkap tapi teratur, dan sisnwa dengan kemampuan rendah mempunyai akativasi skema yang tidak lengkap dan tidak teratur.

Abstract

Integrated learning has 10 types, one type of integrated learning that is applied in SD is the webbed type integrated in the 2013 curriculum. For this reason, an understanding of the teacher is needed in implementing web type integrated learning in schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of teacher understanding of integrated learning in the webbed type of science content in Cluster I Region I, Kuranji District, Padang City. This type of research is qualitative. Based on the distribution of a questionnaire containing 20 statements divided into three parts, it was found that 50% of the teachers understood the types and applications, 84% of the teachers understood the strengths, and 67% of the teachers understood the shortcomings of the webbed type of integrated learning. So the teachers in Cluster I Region I, Kuranji District, Padang City already understand the webbed type integrated learning.
