Abstract

The purpose of research to determine: the results of physics learning with cooperative learning model type group investigation and conventional learning, learning outcomes physics that has the ability to think logically above average and the ability to think logically below the average as well as the interaction model of cooperative learning type group investigation and the ability to think logically in influencing the outcomes of learning physics. This research is quasi experimental. Technique that used to gain a sample is random cluster sampling. The instrument used is the science process skills test and test critical thinking skills.The results showed that: the learning outcomes of physics with cooperative learning model type group investigation better than conventional learning, learning outcomes physics that has the ability to think logically above average better than students who have the ability to think logically is below average and there is no interaction among cooperative learning model type group investigation and logical thinking skills in influencing the outcomes of learning physics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk menjelaskan hasil belajar siswayang diterapkan model pembelajaran inquiry training berbasis multimedialectora lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional,(2) untuk menjelaskan hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki kemampuanberpikir formal tinggi adalah lebih baik dari siswa yang memilikikemampuan berpikir formal rendah, (3) untuk menjelaskan hubungan antaramodel pembelajaran inquiry training berbasis multimedia lectora dankemampuan berpikir formal terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan cluster random sampling dimana kelas pertama sebagai kelas eksperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran inquirytraining berbasis multimedia lectora dan kelas kedua sebagai kelas kontrolditerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen kemampuan berpikir formal terdiridari 10 pertanyaan dan instrumen hasil belajar fisika terdiri dari 20pertanyaan yang dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkanbahwa: (1) hasil belajar siswa yang diterapkan model pembelajaran inquirytraining berbasis multimedia lectora lebih baik dibandingkan modelpembelajaran konvensional; (2) hasil belajar siswa yang memilikikemampuan berpikir formal tinggi lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yangmemiliki kemampuan berpikir formal rendah; (3) terdapat interaksi antaramodel pembelajaran inquiry training berbasis multimedia lectora dankemampuan berpikir formal terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa.Kata kunci: inquiry training, berpikir formal, hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

The objective of study to determine the effect of Guided Inquiry learning models to student learning outcomes and student’s activity in dynamic electrical topic. This type of research is quasi-experimental design of the Pretest-Posttest Design Control Group. The research was conducted at SMA Swasta Katolik Budi Murni 3 Medan in A.Y 2017/2018. The population of research was all students of class X. Sampling is done by random sampling by taking two classes randomly, namely class X-A as the control class and class X-B as the experiment class. The instrument used in the study was a test of learning outcomes and an observation sheet of student learning activities. Learning outcomes test in the form of a test essay with a number of 15 questions and before using the question validated by the validator. The study was conducted by giving measurements in the form of a pretest and then given treatment with a guided inquiry learning model and within a certain period of time and then given a posttest. The results of data analysis using the t test of one party shows that there are differences due to the influence of the guided inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in Dynamic Electrical material. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Listrik Dinamis di kelas X SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian adalah Two Group Pretest postest Design. Populasi penelitian seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi yang terdiri 9 kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil 2 kelas yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling yaitu kelas X-9 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-8 sebagai kelas kontrol. Untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan uji t setelah uji prasyarat dilakukan yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Dari hasil penelitian nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 36,30 dan kelas kontrol 27,90. Untuk data pretes, pada pengujian normalitas di kelas eksperimen dengan L hitung = 0,1378 dan L = 0,1730, kelas kontrol dengan L = 0,1368 dan Ltabel = 0,1730, diperoleh L hitung < L tabel hitung, maka data kedua kelas berdistribusi normal. Pada uji homogenitas diperoleh F hitung = 1,68 dan F tabel = 1,90 sehingga F, maka sampel berasal dari kelompok homogen. Setelah diberikan perlakuan, diperoleh rata-rata nilai postes kelas eksperimen 72,30 dengan L = 0,1478 dan Ltabel = 0,1730 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh rata-rata nilai postes 66,60 dengan L hitung = 0,1489 dan L tabel hitung hitung = 0,1730, diperoleh L<L, maka data kedua kelas berdistribusi normal. Pada uji homogenitas diperoleh F tabel hitung = 1,38 dan pada F tabel = 1,90, sehingga F, maka kedua sampel berasal dari kelompok homogen. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh t hitung > t tabel hitung yaitu 2,326 > 2,006 dengan  = 0,05 dan dk = 54, maka Ha diterima yang berarti ada perbedaan akibat pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray dengan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Listrik Dinamis di kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi T.P 2012/2013.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the students' physics problem solving skills taught by the Project Based Learning and Problem Based Learning models in the material of optical instruments in class XI Semester II MAN 1 Medan T.P 2018/2019. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population in the study were all students of class XI Semester II MAN 1 Medan consisting of 7 MIA classes totaling 329 students. Sampling was done by random sampling by taking 2 classes from 7 classes randomly, namely class XI MIA-5 as an experimental class with PBL model totaling 40 people and class MIA-1 as an experimental class with a PjBL model of 40 people. The instrument used to find out problem solving skills is a test of learning outcomes in the form of essays with a number of 7 questions and in this study assisted by three observers to assist researchers in carrying out their research. From the results of posttest data processing, it was found that the significance value was smaller than 0.05, H_0 was rejected and accepted H_a or There were differences in students' physics problem solving skills taught with the PJBL model and PBL models

Abstract

The objective in this research is to improve the professionalism ofteachers in implementing the guidance of physics learning through groupwork techniques in Sub Rayon 05 SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Thesubjects were high school physics teachers are included in Sub Rayon 05 SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan, amounting to 15 people. The research methodapplied is Action Research School through two cycles, with each cycleconsisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Results ofdata analysis showed that (1) through the application of technical guidance tothe group work of teachers in the Physics Sub Rayon 05 SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan, their knowledge of the methods, strategies, models and learningapproach that includes the model of physics learning experience improvement.(2) There is an increase in the ability of physics teachers in Sub Rayon 05SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan in implementing models learning toimplement technical guidance group work. (3) Through the implementation oftechnical assistance work group, an increase in the ability of physics teachersin Sub Rayon 05 SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan in preparing lesson plan inaccordance with the model or learning strategies. (4) There is an increase inthe ability of physics teachers in Sub Rayon 05 SMA Negeri 1 Percut SeiTuan in making the assessment instrument.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a device design appropriate learning with problem-based learning model and analyze whether learning instrument developed can improve student learning outcomes. This development research done on a limited test by using a class by using research methods 4D development. 4D method is used as a method for designing a learning device to the stages define, design, and develope, while disseminate not done for a limited test. The development of learning instrument assessed by a team of experts, small group, and then the field test. Improved learning outcomes using the NGain. The result of the design of the learning device developed by researchers in accordance with input from a team of experts, small groups and field testing of the categories eligible to use. There is an increase in student learning outcomes after using problem-based learning instrument with the N-Gain in the medium category.

Abstract

Abstrak. Proses belajar mengajar selama ini hanya berpusat kepada guru, buku panduan siswa yang sedikit, tidak adanya perpustakaan di sekolah serta tidak adanya alat-alat praktikum untuk sebagian besar materi. Proses belajar mengajar Fisika di kelas berlangsung dengan mencatat dan mengerjakan soal-soal sehingga hasil belajar siswa selalu rendah. Maka dari itu penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran FIREUP terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Hukum Newton di kelas VIII semester I SMP PTPN IV Bah Jambi Tahun Pembelajaran 2011/2012. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil postes pada kelas kontrol adalah45,67 dengan simpangan baku 12,09 dan rata-rata hasil postes kelas eksperimen adalah 53,67 dengan simpangan baku 13,13. Selanjutnya dari hasil uji t satu pihak diperoleh thit = 2,53 serta harga ttabel = 1,67 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05; thitung > ttabel sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh strategi pembelajaran FIRE-UP terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Hukum Newton di kelas VIII semester I SMP PTPN IV BahJambi tahun pembelajran 2011/2012.

Abstract

The research aims to find out whether the science process skills of students who are taught with inquiry training model better than direct instruction learning, to know whether the science process skills of students who have the ability to think critically above the average is better than students who have the ability to think critically below average, to find out whether there is an interaction between the learning model between the learning model and the critical thinking ability in improving the students' science process skills. This research is a quasi experimental research with two group pretest-posttest design design. The study population is all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Pintupohan semester II academic year 2016/2017. Sample in this research is taken by cluster random class, that is as much as 2 class which amount 60 people. Class X-1 as an experimental class taught with inquiry training model consists of 30 students, while X-2 class as control class is taught by direct instruction learning consist of 30 students. The instrument of this research consists of two types of science process skill instruments consisting of 10 questions in the form of test essay, and students' critical thinking ability instrument consists of 5 questions in the form of test essay. The resulting data, analyzed by using two path Anava and H0 accepted means there is no interaction between instructional model inquiry training and direct instruction learning with students 'critical thinking skills to improve students' science process skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasilbelajar siswa kelas VII-2 SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Pangkalan Susu pada pelajaran Fisika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 37 orang terdiri dari 17 orang laki-laki dan 20 orang perempuan. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas melalui dua siklus pembelajaran, dimana setiap siklus dilakukan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar Fisika siswa ketika diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT mengalami peningkatan untuk seluruh aspek keaktifan belajar Fisika. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan rata-rata persentase keaktifan belajar siswa untuk tiap siklus. Pada siklus I keaktifan siswa sebesar 60,96% dan siklus II sebesar 76,88%. Secara berkelompok, hasil belajar Fisika siswa pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 45,91 dan ada dua kelompok memperoleh predikat Great Team dan dua kelompok Good Team. Sedangkan pada siklus II hasil belajar Fisika siswa memperoleh rata-rata 70,06 dan ada tiga kelompok memperoleh predikat Great Team dan dua kelompok menyandang predikat Good Team.
