Abstract

Genius Learning menggunakan gaya belajar yang berdasarkan pendekatan preferensi sensori dan profil kecerdasan (multiple intellegence). Penerapan strategi Genius Learning, berangkat dengan satu keyakinan dan pengharapan bahwa apabila setiap anak didik dapat dimotivasi dengan tepat dan diajar dengan cara yang benar yang menghargai keunikanya maka semua dapat mencapai suatu hasil pembelajaran yang maksimal. Hasil yang diperoleh terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan genius learning di kelas eksprimen dengan kelas yang diajarkan konvensional di kelas kontrol pada materi pokok fisika topik listrik dinamis di kelas IX SMP Swasta Raksana Medan Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010. Ini berarti ada pengaruh strategi genius learning di kelas eksperimen yang memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the self-readiness of students at the Malikussaleh University Education Study Program in Aceh to become professional pre-service teacher based on teacher competency standards after taking microteaching courses. The type of study is descriptive qualitative with the research subjects being student pre-service teacher at the Malikussaleh University Education Study Program who have taken microteaching courses. Data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires or questionnaires to research subjects. The questionnaire consists of an assessment of the professional competence of prospective teachers, an assessment of pedagogical competence, an assessment of social competence, and an assessment of personality. Based on the data obtained and the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that for the assessment of the professional competence of prospective teachers, students are in the category of very good, good, and sufficient overall were 87% or 136 students. Even so, there are still 13% or 20 students who have not met the competency standards of professional pre-service teacher. In the pedagogical competency assessment, it was found that students in the very good, good, and sufficient categories were 89% or 139 students overall. And it was found that 11% or 17 students had not yet achieved general pedagogical competence. Based on social competence and personality competence, all students achieve the appropriate competence as a professional pre-service teacher.

Abstract

The objective in this study to improve students learning outcomes by using learning model problem solving based experiments in learningphysics. The subjects were students of class XI IA-1 SMAN 1 Stabat totaling 38 people, consisting of 10 men and 28 women. Student learning outcomes inthe cognitive domain in the first cycle the average values posttest obtained 72.95 with N-gain of 37% including the category, the second cycle increasedto 77.30 with N-gain of 43% including the medium category. The number ofstudents who pass the study increased from 63.16% to 86.84% first cycle tothe second cycle. Student learning outcomes in the psychomotor domain ofthe first cycle obtained an average value of 72.11 including sufficient criteriaand the second cycle becomes 77.54 including both criteria. Classicalcompleteness in the first cycle of 52.63% and the second cycle becomes 89.47%. Student learning outcomes in the affective domain, the averagevalues obtained 64.47 including sufficient criterion in the first cycle and thesecond cycle becomes 75.09 including both criteria. Completeness in the firstcycle of 44.74% and the second cycle becomes 94.74%. Conclusion: there isan increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive, psychomotordomain and affective domain by using learning problem solving basedexperiment.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to analyze the different between physic resolving problem ability by using problem based learning model and direct instruction model, the different of physic resolving problem ability between the students that have critical thinking ability upper the average and the students that have critical thinking ability under the average, and the interaction of problem based learning model toward critical thinking ability and students’ physic resolving problem ability. This research was quasy experimental research that use critical thinking ability tests and physic resolving problem ability tests as the instruments. Result of the research showed that the students’ physic resolving problem ability by using problem based learning model was better than by using direct instruction model, students’ physic resolving problem ability and critical thinking ability upper the average showed better different and result than students’ critical thinking ability under the average, besides there was an interaction between problem based learning model and critical thinking ability in improving students’ physic resolving problem ability.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh model pembelajaran learning cycle berbasis eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar siswapada materi pokok zat dan wujudnya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester I SMP Negeri 39 Medan Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012 yang berjumlah 240 orang dan sampel diambil dari populasi sebanyak 2 kelas dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle yang berbasis eksperimen yaitu kelas VII-A dan satu kelas sebagai kelas kontrol yaitu kelas VII-F, kelas yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 38,0 dan pada kelas kontrol 37,2. Setelah dilakukan perlakuan pada masing-masing kelas diperoleh nilai rata-rata postes pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 70,3 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 61,2. Pada hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t dua pihak pada pretes diperoleh   tabel t hitung t < tabel t (-1,9 < 0,27 < 1,9), didapat hasil bahwa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol mempunyai kemampuan awal yang sama. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t satu pihak diperoleh hitung t > tabel t (3,5 > 1,667), maka Ho di tolak dan Ha di terima, ini berarti ada pengaruh menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle Berbasis Eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Zat dan Wujudnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning inquiry training model to the students' science process skills (KPS). Quasi experimental research was conducted using pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this research is X-1 class as experiment class and X-2 class as control class chosen by probability sampling. The instrument used is the KPS obtained by written test and observation. Data in this research is analyzed by using t test. The results showed that there was influence of inquiry training model and conventional learning model to the students' science process skill where the students taught with inquiry training got better than conventional.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the differences in learning outcomes of students taught by cooperative learning model NHT using simulation PhET and conventional learning, analyzing the differences in learning outcomes of students who have high activity and low activity, as well as the  interaction between learning model with the level of student activity in  influencing the outcome students learn physics. This research is a quasi experimental. The population in this study were students of class X SMK Tritech Informatika Medan. The tests were used to obtain the data is in the form of multiple choice. Test requirements have been carried out in the form of normality and homogeneity, which showed that the normal data and homogeneous. The data were analyzed using Anova analysis of two paths. The results showed that: The physics learning outcomes of students who use cooperative learning model NHT using PhET simulations media is better than students who use conventional learning models. The physics learning outcomes of students who have high learning activities is better than students who have Low learning activities. There is an interaction between cooperative learning model NHT PhET simulations using the media and the level of learning activity in influencing student learning outcomes. Average increase learning outcomes in the control class is greater than the experimental class.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the quality of the Environmental Physics pocket book based on generic science skills developed in terms of students' interest in learning before and after learning with a pocket book. The pocket book was developed through research and development (R & D.) abbreviated R&D. The research subjects were A2 class students of the Physics Education Study Program class of 2016. The research design to look at the effect of learning with a pocket book on learning interest was by one group pretest posttest. In addition to seeing the effect of learning with a pocket book on student learning interest, the developed pocket book also reviews students' responses to the pocket book during the development process. The research data in the form of students' interest scores were calculated by their N gain values, tested for normality and homogeneity and statistically tested by the t-sample statistical test. Student response data is calculated by the average percentage of positive responses and negative responses. The development of a pocket book has gone through a review process by two media experts and one material expert that has produced the result that a pocket book is suitable for use. The influence of pocket books on students' interest in learning that is pocket books can increase student interest in learning with an average N-Gain of 55% while the statistical t test conducted shows that the developed pocket books are able to significantly increase student learning interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning model to student learning outcomes on subject of Heat and Temperature. This research is quasi-experimental. Techniques that used to gain a sample is random-cluster-sampling technique that was chosen two classes as experimental and control classes. Instruments in the form of essays tests and observation sheets to measure affectivepsychomotor of students. Pretest data on both classes showed that both classes have the same ability. Then be given treatment which experimental class with Problem Based Learning and control class with Conventional Learning. From the t-test results there is effect of Problem Based Learning model to student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using Inductive learning model on student learning outcomes on static fluid materials class XI Semester I SMK Private Taman Siswa Binjai T.P 2017/2018. This type of research is quasi experiment using two group pretest posttest design. The population in this study is all students of class XI SMK Private Taman Siswa Binjai. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique consisting of two classes, namely experimental class applied Inductive learning model, and control class applied conventional learning. The instrument used in this study is the test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice. The result showed that the average of pretest of experiment class was 31,99 and control class was 26,77 while experiment class average was 76,39 and control class was 67,57. The result of t test is obtained tcount> ttable (3.52> 1.99) so it can be concluded that there is influence of the use of Inductive learning model to student learning result on static fluid material class XI SMK Private Taman Siswa Binjai T.P 2017/2018
