Abstract

Anak usia dini berada dalam masa keemasan di sepanjang rentang usia perkembangan manusia. Masa ini merupakan periode sensitif, selama masa inilah anak secara khusus mudah menerima stimulus-stimulus dari lingkungannya. Pada masa ini anak siap melakukan berbagai kegiatan dalam rangka memahami dan menguasai lingkungannya. Usia keemasan merupakan masa di mana anak mulai peka untuk menerima berbagai stimulasi dan berbagai upaya pendidikan dari lingkungannya baik disengaja maupun tidak disengaja. Pada masa peka inilah terjadi pematangan fungsi-fungsi fisik dan psikis sehingga siap merespon dan mewujudkan semua tugas-tugas perkembangan yang diharapkan muncul pada pola perilakunya sehari-hari. Pendidikan pada anak usia dini pada dasarnya meliputi seluruh upaya dan tindakan yang dilakukan pendidik dan orang tua dalam proses perawatan, pengasuhan dan pendidikan pada anak dengan menciptakan aura dan lingkungan dimana anak dapat mengeksplorasi pengalaman yang memberikan kesempatan kepadanya untuk mengetahui dan memahami pengalaman belajar yang diperolehnya dari lingkungan, melalui cara mengamati, meniru dan bereksperimen yang berlangsung secara berulang-ulang dan melibatkan seluruh potensi dan kecerdasan anak

Abstract

Nowadays, the government with its policy of inclusion class made teacher must be able to do learning activity for children with special need. This research was aimed to describe about (1) teachers’ competence in planning of learning for children with special need (CSN), (2) teachers’ competence in doing learning activity for CSN, (3) teachers’ competence in evaluating learning achievement of CSN, (4) teachers’ competence in managing the class at integration process for CSN and normal children in the same class. This research method used descriptive qualitative approach. These research objects were integration class teacher of class 1, class teacher of CSN handler, headmaster of SD Negeri 1 Tanjung. The technique of collecting data in this research used observation, interview, and document. The technique of data analysis used descriptive qualitative. The research result showed that (1)teachers’ competence in the planning of learning for children with special need (CSN) showed two different results between teacher of integration class and teacher of CSN handler, that was in preparing the lesson plan, teacher of the integration class used provided lesson plan and this was applied both to normal student and CSN, yet teacher of CSN prepared batter and conicallu by making PPI for CSN in SD Negeri 1 Tanjung, (2) teachers’ competence in doing learning activity for CSN was in quite a good category as equalized the right if giving learning service between normal student and CSN, and teacher mostly used media in teaching learning process, (3) teachers’ competence in evaluating learning achievement of CSN was based on the competence of CSN, thus teachers didn’t have specific criteria as the standard for determining the development of CSN (4 )teachers’ competence in managing the integration class was able to manage and there was good cooperation between teacher of integration class and teacher of CSN, thus this was good cooperation between teacher of integration class and teacher of CSN, thus this was able to solve the problems in teaching learning process.

Abstract

Curriculum basically refers to the aim of national education which is to smarten the national life. Therefore, in developing the curriculum, it should focus on the nation intelligence aspect. Intelligent means not only some one owning the intellectuality but also with some skill as well as willingness and ability to utilize the intelligence to solve many problems in their social life. The curriculum development should consider the principles of developing the curriculum which will be the pillars or rules as the soul of the curriculum itself. The curriculum and learning in Elementary School should be able to change the students’ character and behavior into the better ones and to filter many negative impacts on knowledge and technology development happened in the real world. Beside, the curriculum also should be able to make the students master, utilize, and develop the science and technology and make them as the students learning media to improve their competence to achieve the national education purposes

Abstract

2013’s curriculum was used in many level of education, one of them is preschool. Based of the rule is PP No. 32 Tahun 2013. The problem at KKG Gugus Jendral Soedirman I is how to used this curriculum on activities at preschool. Focused of this movement is saintific learning and authentic assessment. So, we have two programmes for solve the problem; (1) Learning Saintific’s Education. Educating start with find saintific concept and then save it to our mind. After each of teacher understanding this object, we are following with applicating saintific learning in six aspects growing dan development. Cognitive, physic, linguistic, social emotional, religi, and art, (1) Authentic Assessment’s Education. This action start with explaining deepth information about authentic assessment. Then, the teacher have time to assesst used anechdot and daily note. Both of them used to arrange daily assessment. There are two outcome’s of this project, 1) lesson planning and 2) assessment rubric

Abstract

Factual conditions require the development of teaching materials in thematic learning using a scientific approach to improve the available teaching materials. This study aims to: 1) examine the factual conditions for the use of teaching materials in thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum; 2) knowing the development of scientific based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary students; 3) knowing expert judgment on the feasibility of scientific-based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary students; 4) knowing the effect of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of fourth grade elementary school students; 5) knowing the teacher's assessment of learning using thematically based thematic teaching materials for grade IV elementary school students; 6) knowing the response of students to learning using thematically based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary school students. This study uses Development Research with qualitative and quantitative research designs. The development process uses the 4-D model of Thiagarajan, Semel and Semel which has been modified to be the stage of defining, designing, and developing. Teaching materials that have been validated by experts get the category of "very valid and without revision" from expert responses and teacher evaluations with agreed criteria, student responses to the use of teaching materials in learning get very good responses from students. The results of the trials using the experimental design The Before And After Design show that there is an effect of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of PPKn; 2) there is the influence of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on social studies learning achievements; 3) there is the influence of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of science. Scientific based thematic teaching materials for Grade IV Primary School students can be used in learning.

Abstract

Keberhasilan pendidikan di negara Indonesia khususnya di sekolah formal tidak terlepas dari peranan kurikulum yang digunakan oleh satuan pendidikan sebagai acuan dan pedoman dalam kegiatan pendidikan.Penyempurnaan dan perubahan kurikulum ini merupakan sebuah tuntutan di dunia pendidikan karena kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara.Di Negara Indonesia kurikulum selalu mengalami perubahan dan perkembangan sebagai pengaruh dari perkembangan masyarakat dan globalisasi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model interaktif yang dikembangkan Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Implementasi pendidikan IPS sesuai kuriukulm 2013 oleh guru IPS di SMP N 1 meliputi pemahaman dan pengetahuan IPS, perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran. (2) Siswa kelas 7 SMP N 1 Kebumen, secara umum siswa telah menerapkan nilai-nilai IPS di sekolah. (3) Faktor perilaku sosial siswa kelas 7 SMP N 1 Kebumen sebagian besar dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan sekolah. Saran bagi guru harus meningkatkan pemahaman dan penguasaan terkait kurikulum 2013 dengan mengikuti berbagai pelatihan.Bagi pemerintah agar melakukan pembenahan terhadap kendala-kendala yang dihadapi para pendidik di dalam melaksanakan kurikulum 2013

Abstract

The research is supported by the low curiosity and learning achievement of the students for the fifth graders SDN 2 Kaligondang. It aims: to improve the curiosity and learning achievement of Javanese Language on the topic of writing Javanese letters through synthetic analytic structural (SAS). The subject covered the fifth graders of SDN 2 Kaligondang consisted of 23 students. This classroom action research consisted of 2 cycles and each cycle had 2 meetings (per meeting included 2 teaching hours). The procedures included planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The data were collected by observation sheets of the teacher and students. The curiosity and learning achievement were gathered from test and questionnaire by the end of the cycle. The first cycle showed the mean of students' curiosity 28.51%. The learning achievement in the first cycle was 60.86% with the mean 68.65. The second cycle showed that the mean of students' curiosity was 34.13. The learning achievement was 86.95% with the mean 80.47. Thus, it could be drawn that Synthetic Analytic Structural could improve students' curiosity and learning achievement for the fifth graders SDN 2 Kaligondang

Abstract

The research was aimed to improve students’ creativity and skill in writing narrative text in the Indonesia subject through Examples Non Examples with picture series aids. This classroom research consisted of two cycles. The object of the research was the fourth grader's students in SDN 3 Linggasari consisted of 35 students, 19 males, and 16 females. Each cycle consisted of 4 stages, planning, implementing, observation, and reflection. The instruments used to collect the data were test and observation sheet. To see the students’ work on the narrative text, they used a test paper of narrative at the end of the meeting. It showed that Examples Non-Examples with picture series aids could improve student’s creativity and narrative writing. It could be proven from the writing outcome it first and second cycle. In the first cycle, the level of achievement was 40% an in the second cycle was 89%. The students’ creativity was also improving from the first to the second cycle. In the first cycles, it showed 57% and 86% in the second cycle. It could be drawn that Examples Non-Examples method could improve students’ creativity and narrative skill for the fourth semester SD N 3 Linggasari.

Abstract

The study was aimed at improving the students’ learning motivation and achievement of science on “Describing the natures of light” applying two methods of demonstration and experiment. This involved the students’ active participation in group works. It applied a classroom action research conducted following the principles of Kemmis S, C Taggart R (1988) covering planning, acting, oberserving, and reflecting or evaluating. These stages were done to achieve the improvement target in two cycles. This was done by collaborating with the peers as observer, supervisor and the principal of the elementary school, in the Education District Unit of Karanganyar, Purbalingga Regency. Based on the analysis, it can concluded that (1) the students’ participation and understanding is better; they are motivated better and actively involved in the learning activities, (2) the students’ learning achievement also improves, using this method. After the cycle I, the students’ learning mastery was 53,12%, with an average score of 68,91 and their motivation index was 71,88%. At the end of the cycle II, their mastery increased significantly, 81,25%, and their average score was 78,13. Their motivation improved to 84,38%. The results of the cycle II has shown that their mastery level has exceeded the target to be more than 75% and also their learning motivation. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the use of Demex method in science learning of describing the natures of light is effective in this research.
