Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Startegi Belajar Mengajar DI SD melalui Cooperative Learning tipe NHT (Numbered Heads Together). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kelas A Semester II Prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar UMP yang berjumlah 50 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 15 siswa laki-laki dan 35 siswa perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi untuk aktivitas mahasiswa dan angket motivasi untuk motivasi belajar mahasiswa, analisis datanya secara deskriptif kualitatif dipersentasekan. Indikator dalam penelitian ini apabila terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan model Cooperative Learning tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Strategi Belajar Mengajar Di SD. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya aktivitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran seperti pada siklus I dengan skor rata-rata yang diperoleh mahasiswa yaitu 73,25% dengan kriteria baik dan pada siklus II dengan skor rata-rata yang diperoleh mahasiswa yaitu 84,5% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hal ini menununjukkan bahwa peningkatan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan Aktivitas belajar mahasiswa mencapai 11,25% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Selain aktivitas mahasiswa juga dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa, pada siklus I motivasi belajar mahasiswa mencapai 73,24% termasuk dalam kriteria termotivasi dan pada siklus II motivasi belajar mahasiswa meningkat dengan persentase 77,62% termasuk dalam kriteria sangat termotivasi. Hal itu dapat dilihat dari perolehan persentase yang mengalami peningkatan 4,38% dari siklus I ke siklus II

Abstract

Motivation is one of success important determinants. Motivation is divided into two, they are intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the students’ motivation in choosing primary education study program (PGSD). This study was descriptive research in the form of a survey. It investigated the circumstances, conditions, and other factors whose results are presented in the form of a report. The population in this study were PGSD students of Ahmad Dahlan University, academic year 2013/2014 class A, B, C, D, E, F consisting of 245 students. This research used questionnaire sheets to gather data. The data was then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that PGSD students vary in motivation. Intrinsic motivation that affects students joining PGSD varies from the desire to be elementary school teachers, civil servants, and private course owners. On the other hands, students also vary in terms of extrinsic motivation, for example, following the wishes of their parents, following PGSD trend, expecting high salaries, being not accepted in the previously desired study program, and joining friends. The results also show that the highest percentage of students’ intrinsic motivation in joining PGSD is because they do want to be primary school teachers, while in extrinsic motivation was because they follow the wishes of their parents

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning achievement of social studies subjects struggling to proclaim independence through Cooperative Script learning models. This research was conducted in 2 learning cycles which included planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting activities and each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The results of the study prove the initial conditions before using the Cooperative Script learning model with an average value of 66 with a percentage of learning completeness of 36%. After using the Cooperative Script learning model in the first cycle the average value rose to 77 with the percentage of learning completeness 59%. At the end of the second cycle, the average score became 80 with a percentage of learning completeness 82%. Teacher activities experienced an increase from good criteria (2.64) in the first cycle to be a very good criterion of 3.45 in the second cycle. Student activities also increased from good criteria (2.86) in cycle I to good criteria (3.25) in cycle II. Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that learning using Cooperative Script learning models on social studies subjects struggle to proclaim independence for students of fifth grade of SD Negeri 3 Kedungurang can improve attitudes towards student learning achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase student motivation and learning outcomes/result of 5th-grade SDN 1 Karanganyar Patikraja Banyumas for Social lesson with the topic to Appreciating the Characters Struggle to maintain independence through the application of the scientific approach. This Research is using Classroom Actions Research which implemented in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, those stages are planning/designs, actions, observations, and reflections. Data collection can be done by test, observation, and questionnaire. An indicator of the success of actions in this research is if the increase of student motivation is at least 80% from the maximal score from all students and if the increased of learning outcomes is at least 85% from all students has to reach KKM of Social lesson 68. This research concludes that: First, Application of the Scientific Approach with group discussion method can increase student motivation in the social lesson for the topic to Appreciating the Characters Struggle to maintain the independence of 5th-grade SDN 1 Karanganyar Patikraja Banyumas.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to increased read beginning through visual media. It was an action research conducted in Banyumas, Central Java in 2013. The stage of this action research were consist of plan, act, observe, and reflect. The subject of this research was the kindergarten students of TK Aisyiah, Rawalo, Banyumas that had read beginning problems. The method used in collecting data was a non test method which consist of survey records based on observation and observation photos. Data percentage analysis method used in this research is using archieved 80 percent. The result of overall data percentage analysis was a 97,61 percent which above the achievement indicator. Based on the increased percentage so the hypothesis can be accepted. Futhermore it can be concluded that visual media can increase read beginning for kindergarten students. The implication of this research is that visual media can be an alternative way to read beginning for kindergarten students. The implementation of visual media in read beginning at school was involved by few factors such as teacher’s ability, school facilities, and students. By the synergy of those factors students counting ability would optimally increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui hubungan kedisiplinan belajar siswa di rumah dengan prestasi belajar IPA, 2) mengetahui hubungan kedisiplinan belajar siswa di sekolah dengan prestasi belajar IPA, dan 3) mengetahui hubungan kedisiplinan belajar di rumah dan di sekolah dengan prestasi belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD se-Gugus Dewi Sartika UPPD Tegal Selatan Kota Tegal 2012/2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex post facto. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas IV SD se-Gugus Dewi Sartika Kecamatan Tegal Selatan Kota Tegal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian populasi dengan jumlah populasi 155 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen angket dan dokumentasi. Uji coba instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas sehingga diperoleh hasil sebanyak 9 butir tidak valid dari 44 butir dengan indeks reliabilitas sebesar 0,903. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dengan analisis statistik deskriptif, sedangkan untuk menentukan hubungan antara ketiga variabel yaitu kedisiplinan belajar siswa di rumah dan di sekolah dengan prestasi belajar IPA digunakan melalui perhitungan dengan regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kedisiplinan belajar siswa di rumah dengan prestasi belajar IPA, adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kedisiplinan belajar siswa di sekolah dengan prestasi belajar IPA dan adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kedisiplinan belajar di rumah dan di sekolah dengan prestasi belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD se-Gugus Dewi Sartika UPPD Tegal Selatan Kota Tegal 2012/2013.

Abstract

This study was aimed to analyze the relationship between the quality of schools based on creativity and the work culture of teachers at the primary school level. At the primary school level the phenomenon of teachers as educators and administrative personnel as well, and must master the entire field of science provide workload is quite high. While it demands professionalism of teachers today has become imperative, where teachers must have four competence as a prerequisite for becoming an educator who has been mandated by law. This research was conducted in Banjar District by taking a sample of teachers in 16 elementary schools, with a sample of 124 peoples. The data were collected using a questionnaire, which is then processed using SPSS. The result showed that the hypothesis statement there is a significant relationship between the creativity of teachers to school quality is accepted. Statements contained hypothesis cultural relations work on the quality of school teachers accepted. While the statement of the hypothesis that together the relationship between creativity and the work culture of teachers to school quality is acceptable. This study analyzed the relationship is generally variable, while the follow-up to improve the quality of schools required further research.

Abstract

Some teachings in Sundanese culture about the path to the primacy of life, the ethos, and character of Sundanese are cageur, bageur, singer, and pinter, which can be interpreted as healthy, good, insightful, and intelligent. Sundanese culture has certain characteristics that distinguish it from other cultures. Sukahayu Elementary School is one of the impact schools in the area of 2 groups of Jalancagak, Jalancagak District. Precisely in Bunihayu Village, Jalancagak District, Subang Regency. The use of language as a communication tool for students interacting in schools mostly uses Sundanese bases in addition to Indonesian. Sundanese language must be maintained, to maintain local wisdom the writer made a school action research in order to know whether the preservation of Sundanese culture can be maintained through the Mibanda Literation Movement? And the response from the school community about the literacy movement. This study used School Action Research (SAR) with research procedures beginning with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of this study are that local wisdom in Sukahayu Elementary School, Jalancagak Subang District can be built through the school literacy movement (SLC). The Literacy Movement that was applied included habituation, development and learning with the steps taken including socialization, In-House Training (IHT), mentoring and provision of facilities and infrastructure. Responses provided by participants in the Mibanda Literacy Movement (Teachers, Students, and committees) in building local wisdom in Sukahayu Jalancagak Subang Elementary School is quite good, as shown by the results of the questionnaire.

Abstract

This study aims to improve basketball learning through the tactics approach method among Grade VIII C students of SMP Negeri 2 Pandak Bantul. This was a classroom action research (CAR) study consisting two cycles. The research subjects were 36 Grade VIII C students of SMP Negeri 2 Pandak, Bantul. The data were collected through: (1) observations on the basketball learning outcomes using the tactics approach method, (2) classroom observations on the teacher, (3) observations on classroom situations, (4) observations on students’ behaviors, and (5) a cognitive test. The results of the study revealed that there was an improvement in basketball learning through the tactics approach method among Grade VIII C students of SMP Negeri 2 Pandak, Bantul. Basketball learning through the tactics approach method among Grade VIII C in 2 cycles improved the process skills in playing basketball game with the tactics approach. Based on the assessment at the end of Cycle I, the students’ average score was 72.8. At the end of Cycle II, their average score improved to 78.0, so it was above the Minimum Mastery Criterion (MMC), i.e. 71. Meanwhile, the number of students who attained MMC in Cycle I was 17 (47%), and in Cycle II it became 33 (96%); this was above the class mastery, i.e. 75%. The class mastery from the cognitive aspect could be explained as follows: from the pretest results, the mastery was 16.67%, in Cycle I it was 91.67%, and in Cycle II it was 100%. The recapitulation from the observations on the students’ learning behaviors in Cycle I was 2.8, improving to 3.8 in Cycle II; that from the observations of teachers in Cycle I was 2.9, improving to 3.7 in Cycle II; and the class situation in Cycle I was 2.7, improving to 3.7 in Cycle II
