Abstract

In Germany, there is no recognition of Muslims as an official religious sect, in addition to the fact that educational issues are within the jurisdiction of the state. Diversity in education is a loophole for Muslims to organize education in the community, given this diversity. In terms of teaching religious subjects, German states stand independently. This article is based on a literature study that collects documents from books and journals through a qualitative approach to the phenomenon of education obtained in various literatures and interpreted descriptively. The way the Muslim generation in Europe learns their religion is one of the most critical problems faced by Muslims there, both at the individual and community levels. Every religious sect has the constitutional right to teach religion to its adherents. Discussions on this topic began in Germany 40 years ago with the question of the conditions under which Islamic religious education can be provided in public schools, and the discussion continues to this day. Since the state has autonomy in education, we can find different models of religious lessons in each state and other obstacles, such as teaching staff and learning materials; therefore, the right legal formula must be sought to teach religion to the Muslim generation correctly.

Abstract

Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) are highly vulnerable to rights violations and developmental disruptions due to the pressures of adapting to judicial processes. In such circumstances, CICL require support from companions who can provide assistance beyond the roles of parents or immediate family. This study aims to analyze the interpersonal communication patterns employed by social workers in Madiun Regency when assisting CICL. Referring to Joseph A. Devito's theory of interpersonal communication, this research examines the application of five core principles: openness, equality, empathy, supportiveness, and positiveness. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the interpersonal communication patterns employed by social workers have a significant positive impact on CICL under the coordination of the Social Services Department of Madiun Regency. CICL feel supported in expressing their grievances (openness) due to the empathy and patience (empathy) demonstrated by the social workers. The social workers also successfully foster an atmosphere of equality by deeply understanding the conditions and feelings of the CICL. The supportiveness provided by the social workers not only ensures a sense of security but also builds the self-confidence of CICL, encouraging them to adopt more positive attitudes (positiveness). Some CICL who were initially reluctant to communicate eventually felt comfortable opening up and actively discussing their problems.

Abstract

The maslahah family movement was initiated by PBNU with certain objectives, first, as part of the effort to present PBNU in the daily lives of NU members, second, an effort to consolidate the movement from below in order to build a better civilization, and third, the development of a good civilization cannot be achieved without the formation of a maslahah family. The legal policy of the sakinah family in its derivatives requires five pillars or principles of relations in the household, namely mitsaqan ghalidza (a firm promise), zawaj (essence and existence in pairs), muasyarah bil ma'ruf (good relations), deliberation, and taradhin (mutually willing or pleasing). The legal policy of the maslahah family movement, if read from the perspective of critical legal theory, will lead us to an understanding of several things. First, the family maslahah movement at a certain level must be encouraged as a political movement, meaning that the family maslahah movement as a social movement must be consolidated in such a way that it directs the government's political policy-making processes so that more and more government political policies support and are compatible with the family maslahah movement. Second, the concept and movement of the family maslahah must accommodate various perspectives and contexts of society. The family maslahah movement, which genealogically comes from the tradition, perspective, and interpretation of NU, requires "objectification" and "universalization" if it is to be developed widely to communities with different religious backgrounds and traditions. Furthermore, the third thing is that the concept and movement of the family maslahah must be open to interdisciplinary academic criticism in order to remain contextual in an era that is constantly changing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze textbooks for general Indonesian language courses that contain national insight in Islamic Higher Education Institutions throughout the Madiun Residency. The data collection process was carried out in five Islamic higher education institutions and used observation and interview methods with lecturers and students. From this study, data was obtained that lecturers still use textbooks printed on the market and have not used textbooks written by lecturers. There is an instillation of national values in textbooks used in Indonesian language courses. In the process of instilling national values in textbooks for general Indonesian language courses, it is reflected in the material on history, position, and function of Indonesian language. Supporting factors in instilling national values include the existence of practices and assignments in learning general Indonesian language courses. Inhibiting factors in instilling national values include the fact that there are still general Indonesian language course books that do not contain national insight. To overcome obstacles in instilling national values and diversity in lecturers, teachers increase references in the use of textbooks in general Indonesian language courses for student teaching materials.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought fundamental changes in the way individuals obtain and process political information. This article discusses the dynamics of civic education in the digital era through the perspective of political socialization theory. This theory explains how individuals form political attitudes, values and behaviours through interactions with various socialization agents, such as family, schools, peers and mass media, which are now expanded by the presence of digital media. Civic education plays a strategic role in shaping young people's political awareness in the midst of massive, fast, but often unverified information flows. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, examining various academic literatures on political socialization and civic education in the digital era. This article highlights the importance of integrating digital literacy in the civic education curriculum to equip students with critical thinking skills, digital ethics, and the ability to participate actively and responsibly in political life. Thus, civic education in the digital era not only aims to produce information-literate citizens, but also to shape democratic, inclusive and reflective political characters.
