Abstract

The learning process can improve student learning outcomes and school quality. Benchmarks used are learning achievement refers to educational achievement that includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. Learning media are tools that can make learning activities effective. In fact there are still many students who find grades below the minimum graduation keriteria standards. The purpose of the research is to develop an Android-based interactive media which is appropriate to improve learning outcomes. This media helps students overcome difficulties in understanding on: understanding, function, component naming, work methods and working principles, how to care and stages of breathing and installing on Differential material. The research design uses the five stages of the ADDIE model of the research procedure using the One group Pretest-Posttest design. The result is the average student value of 12.80 in Pretest, after treatment the average value of Posttest increased to 83.23 with the highest value of96. This media is able to increase learning outcomes (N-gain), the results of this study showed thelearning media can increase student interest in learning.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are one of the supports in the educational process, the completeness of facilities and infrastructure can affectthe learning outcomes of students. However, the inadequacy of existing facilities and infrastructure with standards is a problem that needs to be resolved. The purpose of this study is to find out the existence of mapping thatis in accordance with the needs of practicum facilities and infrastructure, to know the mapping technique for practicum facilities and infrastructure needs, and to know the description of the results of the mapping of practicum facilities and infrastructure needs at the Automotive Body Workshop Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The benefit of this research is to provide information to the head of the institution that in the educational process, complete learning facilities and infrastructure are needed so that students' competencies and achievements can be developed, provide input for the institution in order to meet the needs of available learning facilities and infrastructure in order to develop competence and achievement of participants. students in academic and non-academic aspects. This research method uses qualitative methods with descriptive approaches, data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is using the Spradley model data analysis. The results showed that there was no mapping of the facilities and infrastructure needs of the Automotive Body Workshop Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and did not refer to any policies or standards, the practicum facility and infrastructure needs mapping technique used several stages, namely data collection (interviews, observation and documentation), then in the analysis of the analysis as needed by analyzing the Spradley model data, then mapping the form of tables and pictures, mapping the needs for facilities and infrastructure including facilities in the form of furniture, equipment and materials, infrastructure in the form of a practicum area / space in the form of a design area, a formation area, a body repair area , painting area, instructor room, and storage room.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model blended learning dalam pembelajaran menggambar objek dua dimensi pada bidang otomotif, sehingga dapat diketahui hasil belajar dan tanggapan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model kuasi eksperimental design dengan jenis equivalent time series. Sampel penelitian diambil sebanyak 29 orang mahasiswa dari KBK Otomotif S1 Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Angkatan 2017 dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik pada setiap tahapnya selalu mengalami peningkatan. Tahap 1 yaitu 75,17 (C-), tahap 2 yaitu 80,07 (B), dan tahap 3 yaitu 91,17 (A-). Peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai n-gain rata-rata pada tahap 3 yaitu mencapai 0,83 (kriteria tinggi). Hasil respon peserta didik secara keseluruhan, mahasiswa merasa sangat senang terhadap penerapan model blended learning dan menikmati proses pembelajarannya. Sebanyak 78% peserta didik siswa menyatakan tertarik dan menyukai model pembeljaran blended learning. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu motivasi, minat, dan kesadaran belajar peserta didik meningkat setelah model blended learning diterapkan pada mata kuliah CAD dan Gambar Otomotif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukandata kesiapan kerja peserta didik SMK sesuai dengan tuntutan industri kendaraan ringan setelah melaksanakan Praktik Kerja Industri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sample penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII TKR 1 yang berjumlah 25 siswa yang sudah melaksanakan praktek kerja industri. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kesiapan kerja peserta didik pada aspek pemahaman sebesar 98%, pada aspek pengetahuan sebesar 88%, pada aspek keterampilan sebesar 92%, dan pada aspek atribut kepribadian  sebesar 81%. Secara umum aspek kesiapan kerja sebesar 87%. Nilai tersebut dapat diartikanmemiliki tingkat kesiapan yang sangat tinggi, untuk bekerja di industri. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa aspek kesiapan kerja memiliki peran penting dalam mengisi pekerjaan dalam bidang industri kendaraaan ringan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes after the application of rack and pinion simulators in the subject of chassis maintenance and power transfer systems. Learning basic competencies in understanding the steering system at SMK Negeri 1 Cisarua still does not use simulators because there are no such facilities. This study uses the Quasi Experiment method. Learning outcomes are known from the pretest and posttest scores and are proven by N-gain. The results showed that the application of rack and pinion simulators succeeded in increasing learning outcomes, seen from the increase in the average value of the experimental class from pretest 53.68 increased at posttest to 68.16. The N-Gain value of the experimental class doing learning using rack and pinion simulator media is 0.31 which is included in the medium category, while the N-Gain value of the control class conducting learning without using rack and pinion simulator media is only 0.19 included in the low category.

Abstract

his study aims to determine the effect of industrial work practice experience on readiness to enter the world of work of students with competency skills in Mechanical Engineering at SMK N 2 Bandung. The research was conducted at SMK N 2 Bandung with a research sample of 35 students of class XII TP 1 at SMK Negeri 2 Bandung. This type of research is survey research using a quantitative descriptive approach. The instrument used to collect data is manifested in the form of a questionnaire about work readinessand work practices. The data obtained were then converted into a Likert scale. This questionnaire consists of 39 items that have been tested for validation and reliability. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS22. The results of this study indicate that industrial work practices have a positive and significant effect on job readiness. This can be seen from the rxi value of 0.710, the coefficient of determination (r2xy) of 0.504 and tcount (5.790) t table (2.035). Based on the coefficient of determination (r2xy) 0.504, it means that 50.4% of students' work readiness is influenced by Industrial Work Practices, while the remaining 49.6% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This research is motivateddby the implementation of the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) when practicing practicum, the number of students per group is relatively ideal when doing practicum comparisons of practical tools with students is (1: 1), this causes practicum to take turns so that the consequences requires a long time (over time), the rolling system and several groups waiting their turn to use some tools. Apart from that mastery learning has not been fully achieved, and timely training is not available, while students to be skilled and competent must be able to repeat themselves. This results of the competency test of the practice’sstudents that there are still many who do not pass, so they must be remedial. This study aim to determininghow the use of practical tools in the competence of Motorcycle Engineering and Business expertise in one of the State Vocational Schools in Purwakarta. The method used is descriptive method. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showedin general that the practical tools in the complete category were only the quantity of different tools, there were many in number and those in a few. The ratio of the use of the equipment provided to the number of students is not yet feasible between the equipment and students except for the use of personal protective equipment.

Abstract

Aim of this study is to determine in wich category the student’s perception about pedagogical competence, personality competence, sosial competence, and professional competence. This study is using quantitative descriptive method. The sample of this study is students who have completed the 6thsemester with total 58 samples. This study using closed question that distribute to the samples. The result of this study is that students’ perception about pedagogical competence are in the very good category, students’ perception about personality competence are in the very good category, students’ perception about social competence are in the very good category, students’ perception about proffesional competence are in the very good category.There are 53 (91,4%) students that have a“Very Good” category in perception ofpedagogical competences.There are 38 (65,5%) students that have a “Very Good” category in perception of personality competences.There are 43 (74,1%) students that have a “Very Good” category in perception of socialcompetences.There are 35(60,3%) students that have a “Very Good” category in perception of professionalcompetences.Students’ perception of four teacher competences are in very good category, it mean that students’ quality are in a good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data tentang minat dan motivasi bekerja sebagai teknisi pada peserta didik Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas XII Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung dengan jumlah populasi data sebanyak 195 orang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 131 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik Teknik Kendaraan Ringan memiliki minat bekerja sebagai teknisi masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Peserta didik Teknik Kendaraan Ringan memiliki motivasi bekerja sebagai teknisi masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu, guru dapat memberikan arahan atau solusi kepada peserta didik yang memiliki minat dan motivasi bekerja sebagai teknisi agar mereka dapat menyusun langkah-langkah untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan sebagai teknisi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data capaian kompetensi siswa pada teknik pengelasan GMAW dengan menggunakan model self designed project learning dan mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan model ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel diambil dengan cara purposive sampling dan jenis sampel nonprobability sampling. Dengan pertimbangan tertentu, sampel diambil adalah siswa dengan kompetensi keahlian teknik pengelasan logam berjumlah 34 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes (pretest dan posttest) denggan bentuk tes yaitu uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kompetensi siswa dalam perencanaan produk meningkat seelah digunakan model self designed project learning. Rata-rata hasil pembelajaran perencanaan produk dan praktik untuk mengetahui dengan kategori sedang. Nilai rata-rata 6,09 dan hasil tes keterampilan rata-rata 87,97. Tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan model ini yaitu mayoritas sangat setuju diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa penerapan  model self designed project learning telah meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada pengelasan GMAW. Model ini dapat menyelaraskan antara kebutuhan kualifikasi kompetensi di dunia industri dengan sekolah dan berwirausaha.
