Abstract

This study purpose to find out the work interest and motivation as a technician in AutomotiveLight Vehicle Engineering students. The method used in this study is descriptive method with aquantitative approach. The study was conducted to students of XII Light Vehicle Engineeringclass at SMK Negeri 6 Bandung with a population of 195 data. The sample used in the study is131 people with an error rate of 5%. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, which were distributed to all respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using MicrosoftExcel assistance to get for percentages of work interest and motivation as technicians in students. The results obtained from this study, that Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering students atSMK 6 Bandung have an interest in work as technicians who belong to the high category. Thiscan be seen from the percentage of work interest as a technician which shows that almost allstudents have a work interest as technicians. Based on the results of this study, the teachers arewilling to give directions or solutions for students who have interest and motivation in work astechnicians in order that they can arrange steps to get a job as technicians.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes over the past four years show that more than half the number of students get a fairly low value. This condition occurs due to many factors, one of which is the learning process that still uses the lecture method and the use of simple learning media. This study aims to produce the development of Autodesk Inventor based multimedia animation on kinematics acceleration material, as well as to find out the increase in students' generic science skills on kinematics acceleration material. This research uses the ADDIE development method, and uses the Pre Experimental Design research design with the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study was conducted on 25 samples of Mechanical Engineering Education students in 2015. The application of generic science syntax in this study consisted of modeling, symbolic language, causal law, logical consistency, observation, and awareness of scale. The results obtained showed that there was an increase in the generic science skills of studentsafter the implementation of Autodesk Inventor-based multimedia animation on kinematics acceleration material. This is evidenced by the average N-gain value of students of 0.63 in the medium category. The highest increase in generic science skills occurredin the observation aspect with an N-gain value of 0.65, and the lowest increase occurred in the aspect of symbolic language with an N-gain value of 0.52 which was included in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information from prospective vocational teacher students about the benefits of competency-based modules in facilitating them to design syllabus and lesson plan (RPP). This study used a qualitative method with research participants who were students of mechanical engineering education as vocational teacher candidates at a state university in Bandung. The informants involved in this study were five students consisting of three men and two women who had already carried out a lesson planning course. The method used to collect data is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which is used to obtain general information and individual interviews to obtain more specific data. The results showed that the availability of competency-based modules was very helpful for students in guiding the preparation of syllabus and lesson plans. So that, this research will have implications for the achievement of student competencies in planning the teaching and learning process according to the demands of the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to produce multimedia animation from plasma metal sprays that are used as learning media and can improve student-learning outcomes. The ADDIE development model is used to develop Multimedia Animation for plasma metal spraying. The results of expert judmentsshow the level of achievement in the very feasible category. From the results of the user response test, it wasobtained the level of achievement in the excellent category. The results of the analysis of researchers' data at the development evaluation stage stated that the multimedia animation of plasma metalspraying could improve student-learning outcomes. This is indicated by the results of the N-Gain value obtained at 0.68,which categorized asmoderate N-Gain.

Abstract

At this time many companies are competing to provide education and cooperation with schools, especially the application of industrial work culture because there will be tax deduction incentivesone of the vocational high schools in Bandung has collaborated with industry and applied industrial work culture to learning. The absence of monitoring, controlling and evaluation on the part of the company and school makes the application of an industrial work culture unable to see the level of suitability and success. This problem encourages researchers to conduct research on the application of industrial work culture in vocational high schools in Bandung. This study aims to determine the suitability and results of the application of industrial work culture.Where the components applied to work culture are 5s, 3c, horenso and yoss check. The research method uses quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of industrial work culture questionnaires that have gone through expert validation and statistical validation. The results showed that industrial culture has a score of 87.30% interpretation criteria, which means that the application of industrial work culture is in accordance with the module, Then students have a self-control score for self-discipline of 75.75%, which means that the implementation of industrial work culture in schools is very good.

Abstract

This research is conducted bythe problem of imbalance in the mastery of concepts, practices and activitiesof participants with a productive age range of 25-65 years in basic AC split system training. This happens because the method used is predominantly expository and visual media. Therefore, the trainer seeks to use the AC split media simulator in order to create an interesting learning atmosphere and increase the catchment and competence of participants. This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes, interests and motivation of participants in the productive age range 30 years and 30 yearsafter using the AC split learning instructional media on the AC split system training. The research method used was quasi-experimental, with variations in the object of research on 20 participants of tuna work in the village of Cigugur, Kuningan. Data collection techniques using questionnaires interest, motivation, pre-test and post-test. The results showed an increase in participants' learning outcomes as indicated by the average value of participant's interest in trainingactivities at productive age 30and 30 years with a score of 2.81 and 3.16, the category was quite good with an average N-Gain score of 55.89 and 36.26 medium category (30 ≤ G ≤ 70). The application of AC split simulator learning media also shows the learning motivation of participantsat the age of productive age range 30 years is greater than 30 years, amounting to 3.19: 3.08 with a fairly good category (Average score of 2.50-3.49). The distribution of N-Gain scores shows that the achievement of increased learning outcomes (training) for age 30 years tends to be higher on the scale of the medium category compared to the age range 30 years. The conclusion of this study, that the productive age range 30 years has a more significant increase in learning outcomes than the age range 30 years. by implementing the learning media of AC split simulator can increase the interest and motivation of participants in the basic AC split system training.

This research was conducted at the University of Education of Indonesia (UPI) with the research subject, namely students participating in the 2020 PPLSP Mechanical Engineering Education batch of 2016. The research was conducted in August 2020. With a total population of 48 respondents. The sampling technique used a questionnaire / questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that:The mastery of pedagogical competence (learning planning, learning implementation, and assessment) with a mean value of 87.96 means that they are in the 81-99 interval class (Good) by obtaining a total of 29 students as respondents. or 60.4%. In the implementation of PPLSP, the pedagogical competence which includes learning planning, learning implementation and assessment is in the "Good" category. On the mastery of social competence with a mean value of 34.92, that means being in the 31-37 (Good) interval class by obtaining a total of 28 students or 58.3% respondents. In the implementation of PPLSP in social competences that are in the "Good" category.
