Student centered learning is the effective learning that can make learners develop. In order to conducteffective student center learning, media isimportancein the learning process.Mediacan create interesting, interactive learning, and students can learn independently. Research on media development is very important, whichcreate a media that able to support student centered learning. This study aims to produce multimedia animation and to determine students’responses ofthe application of multimedia onthe topic of material strength inthe concept of deflection. "ADDIE" (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation)were adapted in this research. Research subjects of this implementation of media are 30 students in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education who have passedmaterial strength courses. Media experts and material experts in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education carriedout judgment of the media. The results showsthat the produced multimedia are feasible with reference to the rating scale by experts with 92% of ratings by media experts and 86%from material experts. Students gave good responses to the media and in about 86% ofstudents interestedin the produced multimedia

his study aims to determine the motivation and learning outcomes of students by applying a video-based simulator to the direct drive type starter systemmaterial. This research is motivated by a lack of students’ understandingabout the starter system material in the electrical engine coursedue to the absence of the supporting learning media. This causes students to be less participate during the learning process whichis still focused on the lecturer (teacher-centered) because the teaching and learning activities tend to be monotonous and boring.This study used a pre-experimental method using one group pretest-posttest design research. The population in this study were students of S1 DPTM FPTK UPI batch2018 with a total of 97 students. The sample in this study were 39 students of automotive concentration class 2018. The results of this study showed the improvement of students’ motivationafter learning by usinga video-based starter systemsimulator which then obtain 44% value ofmotivation questionnaire. The result of students’ motivationis at the "sufficiently motivated" stage. Student learning outcomes improved seen from the average value of the pretest, posttest, and T-test. The average pretest score was 42.66 and the posttest average score was 67.89. Based on the results of the T-test, it shows the value ofis 6.007 and df = 39-1= 38 with a significance level of 0.05 so that it is obtained t table of 1.686. ≥ (6,007≥1,686) means that there is a significant improvementbetween the average of pretest and posttest results. This study proves that the use of a video-based simulator can improve thestudent motivation and learning outcomes.

The purpose of this study is to obtain data on student learning outcomes improvement using problem based learning (PBL) models on refrigeration systems and installations. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Cimahi class XII TPB on the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering Expertise Program. The research sample of 29 students. The PBL model is implemented in three learning cycles that refer to the Classroom Action Research method. The observations of the three learning cycles that have been carried out give a picture of changes in student learning outcomes. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the average value of N-Gain in each cycle. N-Gain values obtained in cycle I, up to cycle III were 0.41, 0.52 and 0.59, respectively. The increase in N-Gain value from cycle I to cycle II was 27% and the increase in N-Gain value from cycle II to cycle III was 13%. All N-Gain values obtained are in the medium criteria. This research has implications for student learning activities that are more directed and planned so that students have activities at each stage of problem solving given by the teacher.

This research aims to acquire online learning module TPS-based. This module will be used in the online learning process to ensure a long distance study in the Covid-19 pandemic. The research methods used are research and deveopment (RD) consisting of 6 steps of preliminary analysis, curriculum analysis, writing and drafting of teaching materials, product trials, revisions, and final products. The research instruments used are polls andsheet validations. Module validation is done by material and media experts. Respondents to this study were students of SMK grade XI majoring engineering cooling and air conditioners as many as 20 students. The results showed that according to the materialexperts of this module already meet the requirements of a good module of the aspect of content feasibility and feasibility of presentation with a value of: 85.23%. According to the media experts the module has fulfilled the requirements of a good module of the content feasibility aspect and language eligibility with a value of 80.88%. This module is in positive response by students with an average percentage of 85% covering the aspect of the material, the aspect of the language, the aspect of interest and the aspect of the display. The conclusion of this research is that the TPS-based online learning module is well worth the use and has fulfilled good module standards. In addition, this module can be used in the online learning process especially in the Covid-19 pandemic.

his study aims to determine the increase in learning achievement using a turbocharger system simulator on learning a turbocharger system. This research is motivated by the rapid development of technology in the turbocharger system, but the learning media in supporting the learning of the turbocharger system still has limitations. This media simulator is expected to improve the knowledge of the turbocharger system material, so that students' learning achievement can increase. This research is a research with pre-experimental design ¬ in the form of one-group pretest-posttest using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 12 D-3 students in the automotive concentration class of 12 students. Sampling in this study is in accordance with the existing population, which is 12 people, with the term saturated sample because less than 100 people. The instrument used was a written test problem with 2 forms, namely pretest and posttest. The purpose of the test is to find out the increase in material insight into learning achievement before and after learning using the turbocharger system simulator media as treatment. The lowestpretest score obtained 25, while the highest score 27. Increased knowledge of the material on learning achievement increased after using the turbocharger system simulator media as treatment. The lowest posttest score obtained before the average score of the pretest obtained 26.08, after receiving treatment the average score got an increase from the posttest results obtained 76.25, with an N-gain score obtained 0.68 in the medium category.

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran umumnya dilaksanakan dengan tatap muka di dalam ruang-ruang kelas, setelah adanya fenomena wabah virus corona disease 2019 (COVID-19) kegiatan pembelajaran mengalami perubahan proses belajar dan mengajar. Transformasi digital secara terpaksa ini adalah cara yang paling aman untuk memutus penyebaran wabah virus corona. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui minat belajar mahasiswa, yang menggunakan media presentasi interaktif AhaSlides dikombinasikan dengan aplikasi Zoom saat pandemi Corona Virus Desease 2019 (COVID-19). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penerapan media presentasi interaktif AhaSlides. Mengetahui minat belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Sasis Otomotif yang menggunakan media presentasi interaktif AhaSlides. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen (Pre-Experimental Designs) degan desain One-Shot Case Study, untuk hasil dan pembahasan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah semua mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Mesin konsentrasi Otomotif tahun angkatan 2017, dengan teknik penentuan sampel yaitu sampel kelompok. Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan saat penelitian, kemudian dilakukan analisis dan perhitungan didapatkan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut:Â Media presentasi interaktif AhaSlides diterapkan untuk kegiatan pembelajaran, selanjutnya mahasiswa diminta untuk memahami materi dalam halaman slide media AhaSlides. 2. Minat belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Sasis Otomotif yang menggunaan media presentasi interaktif AhaSlides mendapatkan respon 4% netral, 68% setuju, dan 28% sangat setuju. Hasil tersebut termasuk kedalam kategori positif/tinggi, sehingga media ini dikatakan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.Kata kunci: AhaSlides; Minat Belajar; Belajar; Zoom

Maintenance of the domestic air-conditioning system is a basic competency that exists in the refrigeration and air-conditioning expertise program. At present there is no set standard for the time students have to take in one practice training in maintaining the domestic air conditioning system. This study aims to obtain standard time practicum in maintenance domestic air conditioning systems for vocational scholls student. This study describes the standard time results of maintenance work on the domestic air conditioning unit using a quantitative approach with pre experimental design. Data collection uses test and observation instruments, where time measurement uses the stopwatch. The results showed that the standard time for maintaining an ideal domestic air conditioning system for students to achieve competence was 49.18 minutes. The standard timecan be reached after students repeat the practice of maintaining the domestic air conditioning system three times. This research complicates the students' self-confidence is increasing in the practice of maintaining the domestic air conditioning system.

This research aims to describe the implementation of learning from various learning activities and know the response of students. Based on the observation results of anumber of students in automotive basic engineering subjects at Bandung Vocational High School 6the study results are still not in line with expectations. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The population of this study is the teacher ofautomotive basic engineering subjects and all students of grade X TKRO. A sample of 63 students used the study. Research data is obtained with observation sheets to observe the implementation of learning and polls are disseminated by utilizing google forms to obtain student responses. The results of the assessment of learning experts state that research instruments are valid for use. The results of the data analysis show the implementation of automotive basic engineering learning starting from preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities get good category. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of automotive basic engineering studies in Bandung Vocational High School 6has been well underway in accordance with the provisions set out. Grade X TKRO students gave a positive response to the implementation of automotive basic engineering learning.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar mekanisme katup mata pelajaran Pemeliharaan Mesin Sepeda Motor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest.Instrumen pengumpul data menggunakan tes dan lembar observasi keaktifan siswa.Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tingkat keaktifan siswa ketika belajar diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 70%. Nilai tersebut masuk dalam kategori aktif. Aspek aktifitas belajar yang diamati ada tujuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: memperhatikan 70%, mencatat 64%, bertanya 64%, menjawab 61%, mendengar 76%, partisipasi 75% dan antusiasme 74%. Â Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran alat peraga engine cutting sepeda motor mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar mekanisme katup.Â

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan model discovery learning pada KD cara perbaikan panel-panel bodi dengan hot dan cold shrinking. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI TPBO 1 SMK Negeri 8 Bandung sebanyak 27 orang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes (pre test dan post test) dan observasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yang ditunjukkan rata-rata N-Gain. Jumlah peserta didik yang mencapai nilai di atas KKM dari sebanyak 22 orang meningkat 5 menjadi 27. Kesimpulan penelitian menyatakan bahwa penggunan model discovery learning dapat peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dan proses pemmbelajaran yang lebih baik.
