Abstract

Da’wa activities are currently increasingly easier to carry out due to the sophistication of existing technology. Even though the dissemination of da'wah becomes easier, the possibility of slander arising from the da'wah being delivered also increases. Therefore, preaching today is filled with challenges and sincerity. The appearance of facial negotiations when facing a da'wah problem is a very important thing to pay attention to. Because that way we can see the preacher's way of dealing with conflict. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with content analysis techniques. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation study, and literature study. The subject of this research is Gus Baha and the object of this research is the video content of criticism made by Faizal Assegaf as well as the video content of Gus Baha's response to this criticism. The results of this research show that Gus Baha displays a fairly calm, scientific and relaxed facial negotiation in responding to Faizal's criticism. Even though there is a lot of criticism aimed at Gus Baha, Gus Baha will not pay attention to it as long as the criticism is just empty talk. When criticized, Gus Baha tends to show a calm and scientific face.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the framing was carried out by CNNIndonesia.com in reporting on the murder case of Brigadier J, July 11-12 2022 edition. This research uses a qualitative description approach with Robert N Entman's framing analysis method, where Entman's framing analysis includes four stages: Define problem , Diagnose cause, Make moral Judgment, and Treatment recommendation. The results of the research show that, Define problem, disclosure of the murder case of Brigadier J. Diagnose cause is that the police believe that Brigadier J's death was motivated by sexual harassment towards the wife of the Head of the National Police Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. Make a moral judgment where the police emphasize Brigadier J's immoral behavior and temperament which has sexually harassed Ferdy Sambo's wife. Treatment recommendation, CNNIndonesia.com emphasizes two solutions, namely: first, the Police through the South Jakarta Metro Police and the Police Propam Division to continue to investigate the case of Brigadier J's death. Abstract

In implementing Sharia banking in Indonesia, especially in Aceh, several obstacles have emerged, such as the low level of public financial literacy, the conventional bank conversion process, supervision and regulation, changes in corporate culture, and uniformity and harmonization of Sharia banking regulations. This research aims to examine and understand the communication process in the implementation of Qanun No. 11 of 2018 concerning Sharia Financial Institutions and the merger of Bank Syariah Indonesia. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out in-depth and involved various sources of information, including observations, interviews, audiovisual materials, and related documents and reports. The research results highlight the importance of effective communication in dealing with change within an organization or company. Converting a conventional bank to a Sharia bank in Aceh requires a persuasive approach and efforts to create a conducive internal climate, while the Bank Syariah Indonesia merger process shows the importance of thorough communication preparation and an effective branding strategy. Establishing a new organizational structure requires the use of methods such as chair-sharing meetings and performance-based assessments. Adopting a new corporate culture, "BSI One Culture," shows how important continuous efforts are in facilitating employee adaptation and minimizing obstacles that arise. By focusing on open, strategic, and persuasive communication, Bank Syariah Indonesia successfully completed the conversion and merger process, creating operational continuity and a new corporate culture in Aceh.

Abstract

Emansipasi wanita adalah sebuah ruang kesetaraan. Dengan ini, perempuan mendapatkan kekuatan untuk menyetarakan kedudukannya dengan kaum laki-laki yang berhak memiliki kapasistas serta multi peran dalam kehidupan salah satunya adalah menjalan profesi yang dipilih oleh perempuan itu sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat dan mengetahui efek dari eksistensi driver ojek online wanita sebagai bentuk kesetaraan gender. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode wawancara dalam mengumpulkan datanya. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa eksistensi driver ojek online wanita bisa menjadi bentuk kesetaraan gender dilihat dari pola masyarakat yang berubah mengenai pengemudi wanita, namun diantara itu pula masih banyak masalah yang timbul yang dirasakan oleh pengemudi wanita yang dilakukan oleh pengemudi pria maupun customer. Penelitian ini terdapat keterbatasan dimana diantaranya adalah tidak banyak data pendukung yang bisa menunjang penelitian ini seperti jumlah pengemudi khususnya wanita serta data penunjang lain sehingga hasil penelitian ini hanya dari hasil wawancara dari pengemudi ojek online wanita yang ditemui dan teman-teman relasinya. Abstract

An Irish Goodbye merupakan film yang mengangkat tema relasi sosial keluarga. Film yang meraih piala Oscar 2023 ini menceritakan pertemuan kembali Turlough dengan Lorcan, adiknya yang memiliki down syndrome, pada saat kematian ibu mereka. Dalam hal ini terjadi dinamika komunikasi antara Turlough dan Lorcan dalam menjalani hubungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami gambaran disabilitas dan dinamika relasi sosial dalam keluarga yang terbentuk antara Turlough dan Lorcan menggunakan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes yang melibatkan tiga tahap: denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos, untuk mengungkap makna dari tanda yang terdapat dalam adegan. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dipilih dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi adegan, dokumentasi tangkapan layar, dan studi pustaka dari berbagai referensi. Hasil penelitian, ditemukan 13 scene yang menggambarkan tiga temuan. Pertama, stereotipe terhadap disabilitas yang dialami oleh Lorcan digambarkan dengan Turlough yang melihat adiknya sebagai individu yang lemah dan tidak mempunyai logika sehingga ia mengabaikannya. Kedua, relasi keluarga dan kedekatan emosional yang terbentuk antara Turlough dan Lorcan memiliki jarak yang menciptakan konflik serta dinamika dalam relasi mereka. Ketiga, bonding antara saudara yang digambarkan melalui usaha Lorcan untuk memperkuat ikatan emosionalnya dengan Turlough, yang akhirnya menjadi lebih kuat ketika Turlough memahami dan mempercayai Lorcan. Turlough mengabaikan Lorcan karena kondisinya dan menciptakan jarak emosional dalam relasi mereka, keberhasilan upaya Lorcan, memperkuat kembali ikatan mereka dan menciptakan dinamika dalam relasi yang positif.

Abstract

The coffee shop industry is experiencing rapid growth as coffee consumption increases in Indonesia. The focus of this research is Malang City, which is the center of coffee shop growth in Indonesia. Through a cultural studies paradigm approach, this research aims to understand the construction process of coffee consumer lifestyles in Malang City. This phenomenon marks a shift in consumer behavior from necessity to a sub-culture where coffee shops are not only a gathering place, but also a symbol of self-identity and an urban lifestyle. The research used visual methods with 6 participants from two different coffee shops. The data collection process focused on coffee shops, interior design, consumers, and visual elements that influence lifestyle. The concept of Pierre Bourdieu's social praxis theory is used as an analytical framework to understand the construction of lifestyle and the role of symbolic power. The research results show that the existence of coffee shops influences culture and lifestyle in Malang City. Starbucks, as the main agent, shapes the values and standards adopted by local coffee shops such as Amstirdam. Patterns of symbolic violence emerge in consumer clothing standards, depicting coffee shops not only as places to buy and sell coffee, but also as public spaces that shape identity and social norms. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of coffee shops in shaping lifestyle and culture in society.

Abstract

This study finds out the aspects related to the brand positioning of Nadjani who utilizes social media during the Covid 19 pandemic. Using a qualitative approach with narrative analysis and literature study, data collection was carried out as well as source triangulation. The conclusion obtained is that Nadjani's brand positioning narrative during the Covid 19 pandemic is a product that is full color, unique in its design motifs and fashionable for reality, perception and sensation. Comfort for hijab-wearing consumers, modern product design and has its own character for product differentiation, attributes and profile. Through the figure of the owner and a futuristic local brand for maintenance and statements made.

Abstract

A materialistic lifestyle causes individuals to value material things as a goal in life or a form of personal well-being. Instagram social media facilitates a materialistic lifestyle, by showing one's existence through photos or short videos. This research aims to determine the role of Instagram user intensity and perceptions of influencers on the materialistic lifestyle of young adults. The research method used is quantitative with multiple regression analysis techniques. The search for respondents used the accidental sampling method by distributing a scale of intensity of use of Instagram, perceptions of influencers and materialistic lifestyles distributed via social media. There were 103 active Instagram users who were respondents to this research. The research results show that there is a very significant role of Instagram intensity and influencer perception with a value of 0.000 (p<0.05) and a contribution of 19.6% to the materialistic lifestyle. The results of the research imply that Instagram social media has an impact on individuals' views on materialistic values ​​as a life goal.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dalam era digital telah mengubah berbagai bidang kehidupan, salah satunya pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami konsep kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan dan pers, implementasinya dalam era digital, serta mengidentifikasi strategi pengembangan untuk masa depan yang lebih baik. Metode penelitian ini adalah library research dengan pengumpulan data dari sumber primer dan sekunder. Teknik analisis melibatkan analisis isi dan analisis deskriptif untuk menarik kesimpulan dari data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan dan pers didasarkan pada prinsip bahwa keduanya memiliki peran dalam membentuk masa depan generasi muda. Lembaga pendidikan bertanggung jawab untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan, sedangkan pers menyebarkan informasi dan mempromosikan inovasi pendidikan. Hubungan yang baik antara lembaga pendidikan dan pers dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan dan partisipasi masyarakat, serta citra lembaga pendidikan. Strategi untuk pengembangan hubungan, yaitu peningkatan komunikasi dan kerjasama dengan media pers, penggunaan teknologi digital, serta pelatihan manajemen humas. Kesimpulannya, kolaborasi yang kuat antara lembaga pendidikan dan pers sangat penting untuk memajukan pendidikan dan membangun masa depan yang lebih cerah bagi generasi muda.

Abstract

Abstract Propaganda is a communication used by an organized group to create active or passive participation in the actions of a mass audience. The author sees that propaganda occurs because of the existence of a government in an area. The government is the main reason for the transformation of values ​​in society. This happens because there is an activity carried out by the government to convey the government's own policies and objectives. The activities carried out can be in the form of propaganda. This research was conducted with the aim of describing the propaganda, in particular the techniques used as a means of transforming the Sukowiyono Village community. This research uses qualitative research methods using interview techniques as a way of collecting data. Interviews were conducted with religious figures and followers of Kejawen Islam in Sukowiyono Village. The research results show that the transformation of the Sukowiyono Village community gave rise to new Kejawen variations which were formed from the integration of new values ​​and Kejawen. Propaganda techniques are used to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. In the case of the transformation of the Sukowiyono Village community, several types of propaganda were carried out jointly and the media through da'wah was continuously used to disseminate information and government policies.
