One of the biggest causes of death for women in Indonesia is cervical cancer. The incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia was 0.8% or 23.4/100,000 population. Delay in early detection is the main cause of the high incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia. Patients with cervical cancer are generally detected at an advanced stage. This is caused by the awareness of WRA to carry out early detection of cervical cancer through IVA examination which is still very low. To find out the factors that influence interest of of women of reproductive age (WRA) in the Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (IVA) examination during the Covid-19 pandemic in the working area of the Kebun Tebu Health Center, West Lampung Regency. This was a cross sectional study. The population in this study was 459 women who were taken from the target number of IVA examinations at the working area of Health Center of Kebun Tebu  in 2022. The number of samples in this study were 78 respondents. Measuring tool used in this study was a questionnaire. This research was conducted from October - November 2022 at the Kebun Tebu Health Center, West Lampung Regency, Indonesia until the sample and research data limits were met. The cause of infection in postpartum women is due to the perineal wound. Data released from Purbalingga district health office in 2022, Kutawis Health Center ranked second in the incidence of perineal wound infection. Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and red betel leaf are known contains chemicals that are antiseptic and antibacterial. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of VCO and red betel leaf water decoction on the healing time of perineal lacerations of grade II postpartum women in the Kutawis Health Center working area of Purbalingga Regency. This type of research uses quasy experimental design, two group pretest posttest design. The sample of this study are 34 people taken using accidental sampling. The sample was divided into 2 groups. Data analysis using Mann Whitney test. The results of the intervention group obtained p value <0.025. (p-value <0.05). It can be concluded that there is a significant difference between groups using VCO and red betel leaf water decoction. An average wound healing using VCO 6.17 days and the group using red betel leaf decoction on average healed 5.58 days. Based on the research, it is known that there is a difference in the healing time of perineal wounds between treatments using VCO and red betel leaf water decoction. Treatment using red betel leaf is faster wound healing than treatment using VCO. From the results of this study it is hoped that it can be applied independently so that it can accelerate the healing of lacerations.

Endometriosis is a gynaecological disorder characterised by the presence of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. It affects approximately 10-15% of females of reproductive age. Oxidative stress has been identified as a significant contributing factor to the development and progression of endometriosis. In this study, we investigated the effect of green tea extract on the endometriotic implant area and serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels in a rat model of endometriosis. Twenty-six female Balb/c rats were randomly divided into the experimental group (EG) and the control group (CG). All subjects in the EG received green tea extract (3 mg daily) for 14 days. On the fourteenth day, endometriosis was induced in all subjects (both EG and CG). The endometriotic implant area and serum SOD levels were assessed 14 days after induction. The endometriotic implant area in the green tea extract-treated group was significantly lower than that in the control group (p=0.022, RR=0.455, 95% CI=0.065-0.96). Serum SOD levels in the EG and CG were 5.33±0.52 ng/ml and 5.20±0.91 ng/ml, respectively (p=0.507). Green tea extract effectively inhibited the progression of endometriotic implants and increased serum SOD levels in the endometriosis-induced rat model. These findings suggest that the anti-angiogenic and antioxidant properties of green tea may have therapeutic potential in managing endometriosis.

Postpartum blues refer to mood disorders that occur a few days after labor to about two weeks with a peak of instability on days 3 to 5. In 2020, the prevalence of postpartum blues in Indonesia reached 50-70%. This research is an analytical survey using a cross-sectional design. The population in this research consisted of 127 respondents. The research sample was 97 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The variables in this study include independent variables such as parity and type of labor, and the dependent variable is the incidence of postpartum blues. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The analysis of the relationship between variables was done using the chi-square test. The research results indicate that the majority of postpartum mothers (53,6%) were multiparity mothers. The majority of postpartum mothers (68,4%) gave birth by sectio caesaria. The majority of postpartum mothers (56,7%) experienced the postpartum blues. The chi-square test results indicate that there was a relationship between parity with the incidence of postpartum blues with a p-value of 0.010 < α 0.05 and also a relationship between the type of labor with the incidence of postpartum blues with a p-value of 0.004 < α 0.05. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between parity and type of labor with the incidence of postpartum blues. The role of the midwife is necessary to provide support to postpartum mothers so that they can adapt well and accept their new role as a mother.

At RSUD Jayapura, from 2021 to 2023, 62 babies were born to HIV-positive mothers. However, no prior study has evaluated whether all these babies were tested for HIV. Babies born directly into the delivery room without passing through the VCT clinic often face challenges in follow-up, especially with high dropout rates in the Prevention of Mother-To-Child HIV Transmission (PMTCT) program. This study aimed to evaluate HIV transmission in babies enrolled in the PMTCT program at RSUD Jayapura and assess the involvement of healthcare providers (doctors, midwives, nurses, counselors, and lab technicians) in the program. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining quantitative (case-control design) and qualitative (content analysis of in-depth interviews). The quantitative sample included 64 babies born to HIV-positive mothers who participated in the PMTCT program from 2021 to 2023. The qualitative sample comprised 5 healthcare providers involved in the program. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square tests for quantitative analysis and content analysis for qualitative data. Chi-Square analysis showed a significant association with a p-value of 0.00 (<0.05) and an Odds Ratio (OR) of 217.000, indicating a strong impact of the PMTCT program in preventing HIV transmission. In-depth interviews with the VCT head revealed many cases were lost to follow-up, especially those whose families moved out of the city. Babies who remained in the area were mostly HIV-negative by 18 months. Interviews with midwives highlighted that HIV-positive mothers with low viral loads typically delivered via caesarean section, though they faced delayed wound healing and higher infection risks. No discrimination was observed in room usage for HIV-positive mothers.

Adolescence is a phase marked by curiosity and attraction to the opposite sex, which may influence their sexual behavior. According to BKKBN data from 2023, 60% of adolescents aged 16–17 years and 20% aged 14–15 years have engaged in sexual intercourse. A preliminary study at SMAN 1 Blega revealed that among 15 dating students, 4 reported kissing and petting. This study aimed to analyze the influence of parenting patterns, social media, and peer relationships on adolescent sexual behavior at SMAN 1 Blega. Using an analytical cross-sectional approach, the study surveyed 121 out of 158 grade 11 students through simple random sampling. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics, Spearman rank, and logistic regression. The findings indicated significant partial influences of authoritarian parenting (p=0.027; R²=0.208), non-risky social media access (p=0.002; R²=0.292), and peer influence (p=0.011; R²=0.256) on adolescent sexual behavior. Recommendations include replicating planned Generation (GenRe) and counseling teachers are advised to activate the Reproductive Health Information and Counseling Centers (PIK-R)programs tailored for adolescents and strengthening parental communication and supervision to mitigate risky sexual behaviors.Â
