Background: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a condition characterized by chronic respiratory symptoms, including shortness of breath and cough, decreased Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF), caused by airway obstruction. Interventions such as Pursed Lip Breathing and orthopnea positioning can potentially improve PEF in COPD patients. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of Pursed Lip Breathing and orthopnea position on increasing PEF in COPD patients at Kartini Karanganyar Hospital. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 64 COPD patients who were divided into two groups: the intervention group who received Pursed Lip Breathing and orthopnea position every morning for 5 minutes for 3 days, and the control group who only received the intervention according to hospital standards. PEF measurements were taken before and after the intervention using a Peak Flow Meter. Results: The results showed that the combination of the two interventions had a significant effect on increasing the patient's PEF indicating an improvement in respiratory function (p=0.00). Conclusion: Pursed Lip Breathing and orthopnea positioning are effective in improving PEF in COPD patients, so it can be recommended as part of respiratory care.

Background: The increasing number of elderly in Indonesia has an impact on the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, especially hypertension and diabetes mellitus, which has implications for reducing Quality of Life. The Chronic Disease Management Program (Prolanis) organized by BPJS Kesehatan aims to maintain the health condition of participants to avoid complications and improve Quality of Life. Objective: This study aims to determine the description of Quality of Life of Prolanis participants at the Kutawis Community Health Center, Purbalingga. Method: This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample was 49 respondents from 93 Prolanis participants selected using an accidental sampling technique. The research instrument used the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire that assesses quality of life in four domains, namely physical, psychological, social, and environmental. Results: The results showed that the quality of life of Prolanis participants was generally in the moderate category (49%). Based on the domain, most respondents had a moderate quality of life category, namely physical (75.5%), psychological (85.7%), social (71.4%), and environmental (83.7%). Conclusion: It can be concluded that the quality of life of Prolanis participants at the Kutawis Community Health Center in Purbalingga is mostly in the moderate category across all four domains. Therefore, although Prolanis plays a role in maintaining quality of life, further intervention and evaluation are needed to improve participants' quality of life to the high category.

Background: Urinary tract infections that occur in hospitals are mostly caused by the installation of indwelling urinary catheters. Indwelling urinary catheter care is one way to prevent catheter-related urinary tract infections. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of indwelling urinary catheter treatment using 5% chlorhexidine gluconate on urinary tract infections in the Blora Hospital. Methods: This research uses a quasi-experimental posttest-only design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, 12 subjects were recruited. The independent variable is indwelling urinary catheter care, and the dependent variable is urinary tract infection. Data were collected using colony counts and bacterial types on the fourth day. Data were analyzed by using the Mann Whitney test. Results: The results of the study showed that there was no difference in the incidence of urinary tract infections between patients in the treatment group who received indwelling urinary catheter treatment using chlorhexidine gluconate 5% and patients in the control group who received standard catheter treatment (p=0.138). Conclusion: Perineal care agents do not affect the incidence of catheter-related urinary tract infections. Further research should involve a larger number of respondents and consider respondent characteristics such as antibiotic use, diabetes mellitus, and urine production to obtain more accurate results.

Background: Lactation management is an effort made to help mothers achieve success in breastfeeding so that babies can be breastfed properly and correctly, especially exclusive breastfeeding. Lactation management begins during pregnancy (antenatal), after delivery (perinatal) and during breastfeeding until the child is two years old. Implementation of breastfeeding can be done properly and correctly if there is complete information about the benefits of breastfeeding and lactation management. Exclusive breastfeeding is inhibited by several things such as breastfeeding behavior that is less supportive about lactation management, awareness of the importance of breastfeeding. If lactation management is not carried out, it will have an impact on reducing breastfeeding so that it will have an impact on increasing rates of malnutrition and undernutrition which are at risk of increasing infant morbidity and mortality. Objective: This research aims to determine the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding. Methods: This research design is descriptive analytic, which aims to describe (describe) important events that occur in the present. Event descriptions are carried out systematically and emphasize factual data rather than conclusions (Nursalam, 2014). Results: Based on the results of research conducted on "Description of Mother's Knowledge About Lactation Management at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan" it was concluded that the level of knowledge of the respondents was sufficient, namely as many as 17 respondents (56.6%). This is influenced by the age, education, occupation of the respondent and the lack of information about the mother regarding lactation management. For this reason, it is hoped that pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers can increase their knowledge about pregnancy and successful breastfeeding both from health books and from health workers. Conclusion: The results of this research concluded that 9 people (30%) had good knowledge, 17 people (57%) had sufficient knowledge, while 4 people had insufficient knowledge (13%).

Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer experienced by women. In Indonesia, there are 68,858 cases of breast cancer with 30.9% of them in Central Java. The impact on the bio-psychosocio-spiritual aspects of breast cancer patients is anxiety. One effort to reduce anxiety levels in patients is to provide social support. Objective: To determine the relationship between social support and the anxiety level of breast cancer patients. Methods: The research design used is descriptive quantitative with correlational methods and cross-sectional approaches. A total of 60 respondents were selected using the consecutive sampling technique. The Medical Outcomes Study Questionnaire: Social Support Survey (MOS: SSS) was used to measure social support and the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) to measure anxiety levels. Data analysis used Spearman's rank test. Results: There are 54 respondents of 60 respondents who have received social support in the high category, while the level of anxiety they experience tends to be in the low category (65.3%). The results of Spearman's Rank analysis showed a social relationship with anxiety (p-value = 0.021, rcount = 0.298) which means that the higher social support received, the lower the level of anxiety experienced by breast cancer patients. Conclusion: There is a negative correlation between social support and anxiety levels in breast cancer patients. The higher the social support the patient gets, the lower the level of anxiety in breast cancer patients.Â

Background: The principle of nonmaleficence (no harm) means not causing physical and psychological harm/injury to the patient. The principle of nonmaleficence means that health workers in providing health services must always have the intention of helping patients overcome their health problems. Nonmaleficence in hypertensive patients depends on how the nurse or health worker provides assistance or nursing care so as not to cause harm/danger to the patient. Objective: the concept analysis aimed to explore Non-Malefficence pada Pasien Hipertensi. Methods: This concept analysis was carried out with the help of literature about non-maleficence obtained through the Google Scholar and Preplexity databases. The keywords used are "non-maleficence concept" and "hypertension sufferers". The years of publication of books and articles start from 1989 to 2021. Results: An estimated 1.13 billion people worldwide suffer from hypertension, the majority (two-thirds) living in low- and middle-income countries. In 2015, 1 in 4 men and 1 in 5 women suffered from hypertension. Less than 1 in 5 people with hypertension have the problem under control. Conclusion: This concept analysis was carried out using the methods and steps proposed by Walker and Avant. Method of identifying attributes, antecedents and consequences of non-maleficence. This gives rise to the operational definition of mal noneficence, namely a person's moral principles in making decisions to provide treatment/action/therapy with appropriate benefits without causing physical or mental harm, harm or danger.
