Abstract

This research aims to examine the viability of sunflower seeds against different drying methods and fungicide applications. This experiment consisted of two factors with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor is the drying method, namely drying in the sun (control) with an average of 31°C for six days, cake oven and costume oven with temperatures ranging from 36.5-37.5°C for four days. The second factor is the application of fungicides, namely without fungicides and fungicides. Seed quality testing is carried out using the UKDdP method. The experiment consisted of 6 treatment combinations which were repeated three times so that there were 18 experimental units. Each experimental unit used 25 seeds. The results showed that the lowest water content was 6.25% from sun drying and the highest germination rate was 73.33%. The sun drying method and the use of fungicides can produce the lowest water content, and have the highest values in the percentage of germination, vigor index, maximum growth potential, normal dry weight of sprouts, as well as the use of fungicides. It is necessary to test the temperature and drying period using a cake and custom oven to get the right time to maintain seed viability.

Abstract

The contribution of oranges of Gianyar Regency to the orange production of Bali province is around 29.36%. Orange production in Pausan village has only reached 10 tons per year, with the price of oranges ranging from Rp.4,000 to Rp.6,000 per kilogram. The combination of the use of production factors greatly determines the amount of orange commodity production that will be produced, so that the allocation of production factors more optimally. The purpose of this study is to analyze production factors that affect the income of brastagi orange farmers and analyze the amount of income of brastagi orange farmers in Pausan Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency. The location of the study was determined intentionally (purposive sampling), and carried out from January to March 2024. The sample in this study was determined by census method, where the entire population was made respondents totaling 35 brastagi orange farmers. The data analysis methods used in this study include analysis of Cobb-Douglas production function estimation as well as cost and revenue analysis. Data on independent and dependent variables include brastagi orange production(Y), land area(X1), seeds(X2), organic fertilizer(X3), NPK fertilizer(X4), pesticides(X5), and labor(X6). The results found that all factors of production together have an effect on income, but individually do not have a significant effect on income. Land area and pesticide factors have a negative influence on farmers income. Brastagi orange farming income in Pausan hamlet reaches Rp.91,113,517 per hectare. This income per hectare comes from revenues of Rp.115,912,442 minus farming costs of Rp.24,796,774

Abstract

Red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) is a plant that has high economic value compared to several other types of spinach. This can be seen from the high demand for this vegetable in several supermarkets, hotels and restaurants. Based on the climatological aspect, the Indonesian region is very suitable for red spinach cultivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the type of planting media on the growth and yield of red spinach plants and to determine which plant media provided the best growth and yield of red spinach plants. This study used randomized block design (RBD) research method using various kinds of organic fertilizers, namely goat manure with 6 levels K0 (without fertilizer), K1 (10 g goat manure/10 kg of soil), K2 (20 g goat manure)/10 kg of soil), K3 (30 g of goat manure/10 kg of soil), K4 (40 g of goat manure/10 kg of soil), and K5 (50 g of goat manure/10 kg of soil). Plant height, number of leaves, root length, leaf area, total fresh weight of plants, total dry weight of plants The results of goat manure application had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, root length, total fresh weight of plants, weight total crop oven dry The application of goat manure 8 to / ha and 10 / ha gave the best results on total plant fresh weight of 22.17 g and 26.245 g total crop oven dry weight of 4.322 g and 5.342 g

Abstract

According to BPS data, mustard greens increased by 667,473 tons/ha in 2021, and in 2022 to 3,324 tons/ha. The decrease caused by various kinds, one of which is a decrease in land quality. Therefore, research on dosing guano organic fertilizer on mustard greens needs to be carried out with the aim of: 1) knowing the effect of applying guano organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). 2) find out what dose of guano fertilizer is best for the growth and yield. This study used a Randomized Group Design with 6 treatments, namely G0: no guano fertilizer treatment, G1: 4 tons/ha , G2: 8 tons/ha, G3: 12 tons/ha, G4:16 tons/ha, G5: 20 tons/ha. Each treatment was repeated 4 times So that 24 treatment parameters were observed, namely plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, total fresh weight of the plant and fresh weight of the total oven dry plant. The results of this study showed that the effect of applying guano fertilizer dose treatment on mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) had a very noticeable effect on plant height, leaf area, total plant fresh weight, total oven dry weight of the plant and had no real effect on the number of leaves. The application of guano fertilizer dose 480 g / 10 kg of soil gives the best results against the growth and yield of mustard plants with a maximum total fresh weight of 642.5 g, and a maximum total oven dry weight of 35.3 g.

Abstract

The packcoy plant is one of the vegetable plants that is in great demand by the public today because the price is relatively cheap and this vegetable is easy to process into vegetables compared to other types of vegetables. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of doses of rice husk biochar on the growth and yield of packcoy (Brassica rapa L.) and to determine the best dosage of rice husk biochar on the growth and yield of packcoy (Brassica rapa L.). This research was conducted in the Kalpatarugarden, Jln Sedap Malam, Sanur, South Denpasar. This research was conducted from March to May 2023. The data obtained was analyzed using analysis of variance according to the design used, namely Randomized Block Design (RBD). If the analysis of variance shows a significant to very real effect. Then it will be continued with the Least Significant Difference Test (5% BNT). The results showed that the administration of rice husk biochar had a very significant effect on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica rapa L.). The best concentration of rice husk biochar on the growth and yield of pokcay plants was the treatment of 400 g of biochar/10 kg of soil.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying Cow Manure Organic Fertilizer on the growth and yield of green bean plants and determine the dose of cow dung organic fertilizer with the best results. This study was conducted for 2 months starting from December 18, 2022 to February 25, 2023. The method used in this study used a randomized block design (RBD) with six (6) treatments, repeated four times (4), so there were 24 polybags. The treatment used was no organic fertilizer, (P0) = no organic cow manure (25 g/polybag), (p2) = 10 tons/ha organic cow manure (50 g/polybag), (p3) = 15 tons/ ha organic cow manure (75 g/polybag), (p4) = 20 tonnes/ha organic cow manure (100 g/polybag), (p5)= 25 tonnes/ha organic cow manure (125 g/polybag). The results showed that the organic fertilizer treatment of cow dung had a very significant effect on all observed parameters. The application of several types of organic fertilizers has a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of plant leaves, number of branches, leaf area, number of pods, number of filled pods, seed fresh weight, fresh case weight, oven dry weight of seeds oven dry weight and the best dose. Cow dung organic fertilizer which influences the growth and yield of mung bean (Vigna radianta L.) is the treatment of 15 tonnes/ha (75g/polybag) and the yield of seed fresh weight (15.12 g) and seed oven dry weight (8, 59g).
