Abstract

This study entitled the effect of a mixture of planting media on the growth and yield of land kangkung (Ipomoea reptans Poir). The effect of organic fertilizer is treated to increase growth and yield. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the type of planting medium on the growth and yield of land kangkung and to analyze gave the best growth and yield using cow manure, goat manure, chicken manure, vermicompost fertilizer, and mixed fertilizers (cow cage, goat cage, chicken manure, and vermicompost). with 6 levels K0 (without fertilizer), K1 (cow manure 50 g / 10 kg soil), K2 (goat manure 50 g / 10 kg soil), K3 (chicken manure 50 g / 10 kg soil), K4 (vermicompost 50 g / 10 kg soil), and K5 (mixed fertilizer 50 g / 10 kg soil). In the results of this study, all parameters gave good results, and for planting media the best results were using mixed manure 10 tons/ha or 50 g/10 kg of soil polybag for all observed parameters. The application of mixed fertilizer on land kangkung gave a plant height of 4 WAP which was 43.00 cm, the number of leaves was 25.50 cm, leaf area was 641.69 cm, the total fresh weight of the plant was 90.25 g, the fresh weight of the above-ground plant was 72.88 g, the dry weight of the above-ground plant was 7.51 g, and the total oven-dry weight of the plant was 11.55 g.

Abstract

This study entitled the effect of the effect of several types of organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of various types of manure on the growth and yield of mustard greens and to find out which manure gave the best growth and yield of mustard greens. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) method using various kinds of organic fertilizers, with 6 levels P0 (without fertilizer), P1 (cow manure 50 g / 10 kg soil), P2 (goat manure 50 g / 10 kg soil), P3 (chicken manure 50 g / 10 kg soil), P4 (50 g / 10 kg of soil vermicompost) and P5 (50 g / 10 kg of soil mixed fertilizer, namely 12.5 g of cow manure + 12.5 g of goat manure + 12.5 g of chicken manure + 12 vermicompost). ,5 g). The authors collected data from the parameters of plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands) leaf area (cm), total plant fresh weight (g), and total plant dry weight (g). Data is taken from each parameter. The treatment of giving type of organic fertilizer has a very significant effect on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The mixed organic fertilizer treatment gave the best growth and yield of green mustard (Brassica juncea L.) at a total fresh weight of 38.79 g and a total plant dry weight of 7.53 g

Abstract

Food security is one of the problems of national food which is very important to avoid food crisis. Plant pests is one of the obstacles to increase agricultural production, greatly affect the rice (Oryza sativa L.) In the agricultural production is inseparable from the name of the production factors one of which is the use of pesticides but its use is extremely unwise evidenced by the number of victims, as a result of chemical residues. Green leafhopper (Nephotettix sp.) is a member of Family Cicadellidae, Order living in the rice plant. An important role is as vector Tungro virus. Pesticide from neem plant is environmentally friendly pesticides that can be used in organic farming. Insects that feed on the leaves, the leaves of plants or directly affected by the extra spray neem growth will be impaired metabolism, interfere with the process of insect metamorphosis so metamorphosis be incomplete until severe experiencing this mortality. Research do in Banjar Penatahan, Bangli regency, Bali. The study design used was completely randomized design (CRD) each treatment was performed 5 replicates where all the data is analyzed by a Single Variant Data Analysis (ANOVA).Giving different concentrations of botanical pesticides, does not describe an increase in mortality green leafhopper. This shows that the power of the pesticide plant is not only focusing on the mortality of insects alone, but also acts as an anti feedant (prevent appetite) and repelant (reject the presence of insects). Neem leaf extract is a very real influence as a pesticide plant in green leafhopper pest control (Nephotettix sp.).

Abstract

The population of green leafhoppers Nephotettix virescens, from the nursery to the end of the vegetative phase it needs to be monitored and controlled to avoid and suppress the incidence of tungro. Integrated pest control based on bioecology by suppressing the use of pesticides, suitability of varieties and management of natural enemies has the potential to build a sustainable agroecosystem. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of population development of green leafhoppers and various types of predators in several rice varieties so that it becomes important information in determining the types and proportions of varieties, monitoring the density of green leafhopper populations in relation to the incidence of tungro. The study was conducted in Subak Alis Bintang, Sulahan Village, Susut District, Bangli Regency, by using an observation method to determine the presence and development of green leafhopper populations and their predators in IR 66 varieties. The results showed that the pattern of green leafhopper population increased during the vegetative phase (three to six MST) and decreases in the generative phase (seven to eight MST). The level of population density of green leafhoppers is not influenced by the resistance of varieties. In general, the pattern of population density fluctuations of predators does not follow the pattern of population density fluctuations of green leafhoppers in each variety. Based on the index value, diversity of predators above the index value of 0.91 indicates the opportunity for the conservation of natural enemies in biological control by focusing on identifying predatory functional responses to target pests. Therefore also used with various types of potassium fertilizer doses to measure the level of green leafhopper attacks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of providing rabbit manure on the growth and yield of mustard greens., starting from March 10 to April 10, 2021, at Kebun Kalpataru Denpasar Selatan. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment of kandang kelinci D0(without rabbit manure), fertilizer consisted of D1 (25g/5 kg soil), D2 (50g/5 kg soil), D3 (75g/5 kg soil), D4 (100g/5 kg soil) D5 (125g /5 kg of soil). Each treatment was repeated 4 times so that the total number of treatments became 24. The results showed that the treatment of 50 grams of rabbit manure (D2) gave the best growth and yield compared to other treatments of rabbit manure for all observation parameters such as plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight of plants, total dry weight of plants, fresh weight without plant roots, dry weight without plant roots.

Abstract

Bali is one of the grape-producing regions in Indonesia, and grape cultivation is carried out in the North Bali area of Buleleng Regency. Grape growers in Bali began to plant other grape varieties, namely green grapes (Vitis vinifera L. var. Muscat Saint Vallier). This grape variety originates from France and grows successfully in the tropics. Currently, there needs to be more information about the yield potential and quality of green grape varieties. This study aims to determine the productivity and quality of green grapes at several harvest periods and locations. The research was conducted from January 2021 to September 2022 at three sub-district locations: Gerokgak, Kalisada, and Seririt. The research was conducted at six locations, namely Gerokgak 1, Gerokgak 2, Gerokgak 3, Kalisada 1, Kalisada 2, and Seririt. Data collection was carried out during three pruning to harvest periods: January–March, April–June, and July–September. Harvest period and planting location show a significant influence on green grape productivity. Observations on grape productivity in different years showed no significant results, and there was no interaction between location and harvest period. The harvest period for two consecutive years shows that the July–September harvest period gives the best yields. The quality of the yield of green grapes shown in the fruit obrix at both locations at different harvest periods shows that the obrix of this variety remains the same.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cow biourine liquid fertilizer on the growth and yield of mustard greens. This research has been conducted on Jln. Banteng Baru behind the PDIP office No.4, Renon Village, South Denpasar District. Denpasar City. This study took place for 1 month 2 weeks from the time of seedling, starting on 19 February – 26 March 2021. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) with the treatment of liquid fertilizer consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications, while the treatment was cow biourine. , so that 24 experimental units can be obtained. Concentration of cow biourine: K0= control, K1=100ml cow biourine/900ml water, K2=200ml cow biourine/800ml water, K3=300ml cow biourine/700ml water, K4=400ml cow biourine/600ml water, K5=500ml cow biourine /500ml of water. The results showed that the concentration of bovine biourine was given to mustard greens. The results showed that K4 treatment (400ml cow biourine/600ml water) on the growth parameters of mustard greens had a very significant effect on plant height, leaf area, total plant fresh weight, total oven dry weight of plants and only had a significant effect on leaf number. The concentration of cow biourine liquid fertilizer from 400ml cow biourine/600ml water resulted in the best growth of mustard greens, namely total plant fresh weight: 137.5 g and total plant oven dry weight: 18.40 g.

The purpose of this study is 1). To know the effect of certain types of manure on the growth and yield of plant pakcoy 2). To find out which manure provides the best growth and plant output. Abstract

Sampah rumah tangga merupakan permasalahan yang belum dapat diatasi dengan baik dan benar hingga saat ini. Sampah yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas rumah tangga dapat berupa sampah organik dari sisa-sisa makanan serta sampah anorganik dari sampah plastik. Desa Belumbang yang merupakan desa wisata perlu memperhatikan aspek lingkungan agar tetap terjaga dan lestari. Dengan adanya kegiatan wisata di Desa Belumbang perlu didukung dengan kondisi alam dan lingkungan yang terjaga kebersihannya. Kebersihan di Desa Belumbang dapat terwujud apabila masyarakat dapat menyadari pentingnya mengelola sampah dengan baik yang diawali dengan proses pemilahan secara mandiri. Metode dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yakni, metode perencanaan dan observasi, metode penyuluhan, dan metode kuisioner. Responden dalam kegiatan ini terdiri dari 20 orang yang merupakan kader kebersihan desa. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Belumbang yakni adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pemilahan dan pengolahan sampah rumah tangga dari sebelum diberikan edukasi sampai dengan sesudah diberikan edukasi melalui penyuluhan, diskusi, dan demonstrasi kegiatan. Adapun kegiatan diawali dengan seremonial yang mencakup penyerahan bibit cabai dan benih ikan nila dan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sesi penyuluhan, sesi diskusi dan sesi demonstrasi kegiatan. Peningkatan pemahaman pada aspek pengetahuan yakni dari 66.7% menjadi 87.5% dan aspek perilaku dari 50% menjadi 71%. Persentase tersebut menunjukkan antusiasme dan kesadaran masyarakat akan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini sehingga memberikan kebermanfaatan dan nilai tambah dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk menciptakan lingkungan desa yang lestari dan berkelanjutan. Abstract

The title of this research is “Growth Response and Yield of Tomato Stem Cuttings (lycopersicum eesculentum Mill) to Shallot and Honey Extracts. Tomato (Lycopersicum Eesculentum Mill) is a type of vegetable that has high demand in the market because it is liked by almost all Indonesian people. Cutting aims to optimize the formation of a new root system. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) with various concentrations of onion and honey extract as stimulants with 5 levels. B0M0 : Red onion extra concentration 0ml + 0 ml honey, B1M4 : 40ml red onion extra concentration + 60 ml honey, B2M3 : 60ml red onion extra concentration + 40 ml honey, B3M2: 80ml red onion extra concentration + 20 ml honey, B4M1 : Red onion extra concentration 20 ml + 80 ml honey, B5M0: 100 ml red onion extra concentration + 0 ml honey, B0M5: 0 ml red onion extra concentration + 100 ml honey. In the results of this study, all parameters gave the best results and for giving the concentration of onion and honey extract gave very good results, namely by giving a concentration of 60% or red onion extract 60 ml/40 ml of honey. The concentration of onion extract gave the highest plant value, namely plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, number of flowers planted, number of fruit planted, weight of fruit planted, fruit diameter.
