Abstract

Matematika disekolah dasar masih mengalami hambatan permasalahan. Diantaranya yaitu hasil belajar siswa yang masih dikatakan belum sepenuhnya maksimal, salah satu dari penyebabnya yaitu menggunakan metode ceramah sehingga rendah keaktifan proses pembelajaran.Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada materi penjumlahan bilangan cacah di sekolah dasar. penelitian kuantitatif desain eksperimen pre-Eksperimental. one grup Prites dan posstest design. Populasi 77 siswa Kelas IIIA, IIIB, IIIC. Sampel siswa kelas IIIC yang berjumlah 27 siswa SD Assunniyah kencong-jember.Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara guru, penyebaran angket serta diberikan pritest dan posttest. Analisis data melalui uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, dan selanjutnya dilakukan uji paired t-test. Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of grade II students at SDN Sendang Laok in the addition and vertical subtraction material through the application of the Discovery Learning model, assisted by the Number Adventure Board teaching aid. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) study, based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, and was carried out in two cycles, including the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 22 grade II students at SDN Sendang Laok in the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through learning outcomes tests, observation, and interviews, then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The investigation revealed a significant increase in learning outcomes. The average score of students increased from 10.68 in the pre-test stage with a learning completeness of 0%, to 50 in Cycle I with a completeness of 32%, and reached 84.09 in Cycle II with a classical completeness of 90%. In addition, student activity during learning increased from 35% in Cycle I to 79% in Cycle II. The use of concrete teaching, the use of aids that supported understanding of the concept of place value, the application of Discovery Learning that encouraged active student involvement, and the giving of rewards that increased learning motivation all contributed to this increase in understanding. Thus, the application of the Discovery Learning model, assisted by the Number Adventure Board teaching aid, has been proven effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of grade II students in vertical calculation.

Abstract

A needs analysis revealed low student mathematical modeling skills, non-student-centered learning, and the unavailability of Student Worksheets appropriate to students' cognitive developmental stages. These conditions prompted the development of a Concrete Representational Abstract (CRA) approach-based student worksheet, relevant to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 Quality Education, to support quality education and student competency development. This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective CRA approach-based student worksheet to support junior high school students' mathematical modeling skills. This research is a research and development project using the Plomp model, which consists of three phases: preliminary research, prototyping, and evaluation. Product effectiveness was tested using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. Subjects were seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Tapung, Kampar Regency, Riau Province, with 25 students each in the experimental and control classes. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests, then analyzed using the Aiken index, percentages, and t-tests. The results showed that the CRA approach-based student worksheet was valid and effective in supporting students' mathematical modeling skills. The average posttest score for the mathematical modeling skills of students in the experimental class was 71.14, higher than that of the control class at 63.29. The t-test results showed a calculated t-value of 1.88 > the t-table of 1.68. Thus, the CRA approach-based student worksheet can be an innovative teaching material that supports quality mathematics learning and is relevant to achieving SDG 4.
