Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of student management at SDN Demangan 1 Bangkalan. A qualitative descriptive method with a tendency for analysis was used. The research subjects were students and teachers of SDN Demangan 1 Bangkalan. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results showed that the management at SDN Demangan 1 is very good. This school is the only elementary school in East Java, especially in Bangkalan, that has an athlete class program. In addition, recently, SDN Demangan 1 has also been running a literacy program for students who are less literate

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Banyuajuh 4 in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), particularly on the topic of life cycles of living organisms. The problem was identified as stemming from the predominance of conventional teaching methods in classroom instruction and the limited availability of learning media capable of adequately representing scientific concepts. Although numerous studies have examined the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model and diorama media, these two aspects have generally been investigated separately. Their integration within the context of IPAS instruction at the elementary school level has received relatively limited attention in the existing literature. Therefore, this study seeks to address this research gap by combining both approaches in a single instructional framework. The objective of this study was to improve students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with natural environment diorama media. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted over two action cycles. The research participants consisted of nine third-grade students. Data were collected through learning achievement tests, observation sheets, and documentation of learning activities. The findings revealed a consistent improvement in students’ learning outcomes across each cycle of implementation. The percentage of classical learning mastery in the pre-cycle stage was only 22.2%, which subsequently increased in Cycle I and reached 88.9% in Cycle II, exceeding the predetermined success indicator threshold of 80%. These results indicate that the integration of the PBL model with three-dimensional concrete media has the potential to serve as an effective instructional strategy for enhancing the quality of IPAS learning in elementary schools. Furthermore, the findings may provide valuable guidance for educators in designing learning experiences that are more active, meaningful, and aligned with students’ cognitive developmental characteristics. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas III SDN Banyuajuh 4 pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS), khususnya pada pokok bahasan siklus hidup makhluk hidup. Permasalahan tersebut diidentifikasi bersumber dari dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar serta keterbatasan ketersediaan media pembelajaran yang mampu merepresentasikan konsep secara memadai. Meskipun kajian mengenai model Problem Based Learning (PBL) maupun media diorama telah cukup banyak dilakukan, kedua aspek tersebut pada umumnya dikaji secara terpisah. Pengintegrasian keduanya dalam konteks pembelajaran IPAS di jenjang sekolah dasar masih relatif jarang mendapat perhatian dalam literatur penelitian, sehingga penelitian ini hadir sebagai upaya untuk mengisi kesenjangan kajian yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model PBL yang diintegrasikan dengan pemanfaatan media diorama lingkungan alam. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan mengacu pada model Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus tindakan. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 9 peserta didik kelas III, dengan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui instrumen tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan peningkatan yang konsisten pada setiap tahapan siklus yang dilaksanakan. Persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada tahap pra-siklus hanya berada di angka 22,2%, kemudian mengalami kenaikan pada siklus I, dan pada siklus II berhasil mencapai 88,9%, sehingga melampaui ambang batas indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan sebesar 80%. Capaian ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi model PBL dengan media konkret tiga dimensi berpotensi menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar. Selain itu, temuan penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan bagi para pendidik dalam merancang pengalaman belajar yang lebih aktif, bermakna, dan selaras dengan karakteristik perkembangan kognitif peserta didik.

Abstract

This classroom action research (CAR) is motivated by the critical need for conceptual media innovations to stimulate fine motor skills and socio-cultural comprehension among primary school students who tend to remain passive. This study aims to enhance the psychomotor skills and creative thinking of fourth-grade students at SDN Tanjung Jati 2 Bangkalan in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning through the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Pop-up book media themed around the local wisdom of the Rokat Tase’ tradition. The research methodology follows the Kemmis & McTaggart spiral model conducted across two action cycles, comprising planning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages with 15 students as research subjects. Data collection was comprehensively carried out using activity observation sheets, a product assessment rubric based on four core aspects of creativity, student worksheets (LKPD), and student response questionnaires. The findings revealed a notable improvement in the quality of students’ products from Cycle I to Cycle II across various dimensions of creativity. The most substantial progress was observed in originality and elaboration, while fluency and flexibility consistently demonstrated high levels of achievement. Improvements in product quality were also accompanied by enhanced sociocultural literacy skills, higher cognitive learning outcomes, and highly positive student responses to the learning process. These findings suggest that instructional practices supported by individualized scaffolding can effectively foster students’ creativity and optimize their learning outcomes. In conclusion, the integration of the geographical context of the Pantai Batu Poron area into the PjBL model is proven reliable in boosting individual creative capacity and academic comprehension meaningfully, allowing the classroom action to be successfully concluded. ABSTRAK Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya inovasi media konseptual untuk menstimulus kreativitas motorik halus dan pemahaman sosiokultural siswa sekolah dasar yang cenderung masih pasif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan psikomotorik dan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas IV SDN Tanjung Jati 2 Bangkalan dalam pembelajaran IPAS melalui penerapan model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media Pop-up book bertema kearifan lokal tradisi Rokat Tase’. Metode penelitian dirancang mengikuti model spiral Kemmis & McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus tindakan, meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 15 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara komprehensif menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas, rubrik penilaian produk berbasis empat aspek utama kreativitas, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), serta angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kualitas produk karya siswa dari Siklus I ke Siklus II pada berbagai aspek kreativitas. Perkembangan paling menonjol terlihat pada aspek keaslian dan perincian ide, sementara aspek kelancaran dan keluwesan tetap menunjukkan capaian yang tinggi. Peningkatan kualitas produk siswa juga diikuti oleh perkembangan kemampuan literasi sosiokultural, hasil belajar kognitif, dan respons belajar yang sangat positif. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran yang disertai bimbingan personal mampu mendukung pengembangan kreativitas dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara optimal. Disimpulkan bahwa integrasi konteks geografis wilayah Pantai Batu Poron ke dalam model PjBL terbukti andal dalam melejitkan daya cipta individual serta pemahaman akademis siswa secara bermakna, sehingga tindakan kelas dihentikan secara tuntas.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar IPS pada materi keberagaman budaya di kelas IV UPTD SDN Sendang Laok disebabkan oleh keterbatasan buku paket, hambatan membaca siswa, dan pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Discovery Learning berbantuan media Pop-Up Book serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi keberagaman budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2025/2026 dengan subjek 24 siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. Pada Siklus I, ketuntasan belajar klasikal mencapai 46% dengan nilai rata-rata 66,25. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan tindakan pada Siklus II melalui penguatan kerja kelompok dan penyempurnaan instrumen evaluasi berbasis visual, ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 79% dengan nilai rata-rata 90,4. Selain itu, aktivitas siswa pada berbagai indikator pembelajaran juga mengalami peningkatan. Dengan demikian, penerapan model Discovery Learning berbantuan media Pop-Up Book terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa pada materi keberagaman budaya.

Abstract

Pembelajaran norma di sekolah dasar masih cenderung bersifat teoritis dan kurang dikaitkan dengan konteks kehidupan nyata sehingga pemahaman siswa terhadap materi norma belum optimal. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada materi norma melalui inovasi edukasi norma berbasis wisata lokal Pantai Talango dengan model Cooperative Learning tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media video pembelajaran dan permainan ular tangga. Penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek 35 siswa SDN Tlangoh. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, tes lisan, dan tes tulis, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan rata-rata nilai dan persentase ketuntasan belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa secara signifikan. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal meningkat dari 28% pada pra-siklus menjadi 71% pada siklus I dan 91% pada siklus II. Selain itu, siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran, mampu bekerja sama dengan baik, serta memiliki kepedulian terhadap lingkungan di kawasan wisata lokal. Dengan demikian, model TGT efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi norma berbasis kearifan lokal.

Abstract

The learning process of science (IPAS) in elementary schools still faces several challenges, particularly in teaching abstract concepts such as the life cycle of living things, which often result in low student engagement and learning outcomes. In addition, the limited use of interactive digital learning media has made it difficult for teachers to create meaningful and student-centered learning experiences. This study aims to: (1) develop a valid Life Loop interactive multimedia based on the results of the validation questionnaire; (2) develop an effective Life Loop interactive multimedia reviewed from the learning outcomes and the results of observations of teacher and student activities; and (3) develop an interesting Life Loop interactive multimedia based on teacher and student response questionnaires. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) development method with the ADDIE research model with 32 students as research subjects. The results of the study show that the interactive multimedia developed is included in the very valid category, with validation results from media experts of 95%, material experts of 82%, and learning design experts of 87%. The effectiveness of interactive multimedia is proven through large group trials, where the results of observations of teacher activities obtained a percentage of 100% with an active category, while student activities reached 96.80% with an active category. In addition, the results of the evaluation test showed that 27 students who took the test had achieved individual learning completion. The level of interactive multimedia interest is also very high, as shown by the results of the teacher response questionnaire of 98.33% and the student response of 95.46%, both of which are included in the very interesting category. Based on the overall results, the Life Loop interactive multimedia is declared suitable for use in science (IPAS) learning for Grade III students at SDN Junganyar 2 Socah Bangkalan on the topic of the life cycle of living things.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of grade II students at SDN Sendang Laok in the addition and vertical subtraction material through the application of the Discovery Learning model, assisted by the Number Adventure Board teaching aid. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) study, based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, and was carried out in two cycles, including the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 22 grade II students at SDN Sendang Laok in the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through learning outcomes tests, observation, and interviews, then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The investigation revealed a significant increase in learning outcomes. The average score of students increased from 10.68 in the pre-test stage with a learning completeness of 0%, to 50 in Cycle I with a completeness of 32%, and reached 84.09 in Cycle II with a classical completeness of 90%. In addition, student activity during learning increased from 35% in Cycle I to 79% in Cycle II. The use of concrete teaching, the use of aids that supported understanding of the concept of place value, the application of Discovery Learning that encouraged active student involvement, and the giving of rewards that increased learning motivation all contributed to this increase in understanding. Thus, the application of the Discovery Learning model, assisted by the Number Adventure Board teaching aid, has been proven effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of grade II students in vertical calculation.

Abstract

Rendahnya pemahaman matematika siswa kelas V SDN Sendang Laok pada materi membandingkan karakteristik bangun datar segitiga menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Hal tersebut dipicu oleh pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional, minimnya interaksi, serta kurangnya pemanfaatan media interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis game melalui Smart TV dengan model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) serta mengetahui peningkatannya terhadap keaktifan dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kurt Lewin yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2025/2026 dengan subjek 15 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dari Siklus I ke Siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal meningkat drastis dari 33,3% (5 siswa) pada Siklus I menjadi 86,6% (13 siswa) pada Siklus II. Peningkatan ini didorong oleh optimalisasi jaringan internet untuk media Smart TV, penguatan kolaborasi kelompok heterogen, penerapan waktu berpikir (wait time), serta pemberian reward untuk meningkatkan motivasi. Kesimpulannya, integrasi model TGT dan media game interaktif melalui Smart TV efektif menciptakan ekosistem belajar yang menyenangkan dan meningkatkan pemahaman matematika siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the limited availability of teaching materials in schools and their insufficient alignment with students' learning needs, which has contributed to the low level of students' creative thinking skills. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT)-based E-LKPD for Indonesian language learning to enhance elementary school students' conceptual understanding and creative thinking skills. The developed product was evaluated in terms of its validity, effectiveness, and attractiveness. Product validity was determined through expert validation, while its effectiveness was assessed based on students' conceptual understanding and creative thinking test results. This study employed a research and development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, which consists of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The results of the study show that the percentage of validity of E-LKPD based on learning design validation is 91.7%, teaching material validation is 93.3%, and material validation is 91.7%, all of which are included in the very valid category. The effectiveness is reviewed from the creativity of students classically reaching 100% of students in the minimum creative category, and the completeness of learning outcomes classically reaches 100% with complete criteria. The attractiveness was reviewed from the teacher's response obtained a percentage of 96.7%, while the student response reached 95%, both in the very interesting category. Based on these findings, it was concluded that E-LKPD teaching materials based on Culturally Responsive Teaching in Indonesian language learning to train the understanding of concepts and creative thinking skills of elementary school students were declared valid, effective, and interesting.
