Abstract

This study attempts to examine wether the attitude to work an family roles ofprofessional men and women in Surakarta, follow the pattern suggested by adultdevelopment theories. The results indicate that there were no significant different betweenthe scroes of men and women participants in work role during their life cycle.Nevertheless, there are some different role in the family (parental, marital, and homemaker) a long their life cycle

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of : 1 ) Return on Assets ( ROA ) to the stock price on the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010-2012 ; 2 ) Return On Equity ( ROE ) to the stock price on the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010-2012 ; 3 ) Net Profit Margin (NPM ) on stock prices in the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010-2012 ; 4 ) Earning per share (EPS ) to the stock price on the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010-2012 ; 5 ) Price Earning Ratio ( PER ) on stock prices in the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010-2012 ; and 6 ) ROA , ROE , NPM , EPS , PER simultaneously on stock prices in the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010-2012 .This research was conducted using secondary data . The population in this study are listed banking industry in Indonesia Stock Exchange ( IDX ) of 28 companies , the samples taken were 84 observations by purposive sampling technique . The method of analysis used by multiple regression analysis with first tested the classical assumptions include normality test, multicollinearity , heteroscedasticity test , and hypothesis testing used is a simultaneous significant test ( Test F ) , partial significant test ( the self- t ) .The results of this study prove that : ROA no significant effect on the stock price on the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010 - 2012 , ROE no significant effect on the stock price on the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010 - 2012 , NPM significantly influence stock price on the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010 - 2012 , EPS significantly influence stock prices in the banking company listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010 - 2012 , PER no significant effect on the stock price on the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010 - 2012 , ROA , ROE , NPM , EPS and PER simultaneously significant effect on stock prices in the banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange th period 2010 - 2012

Abstract

Revolusi dan evolusi perkembangan teknologi informasi dan sistem informasi memicu transformasi dalam semua bidang dan hal ini kemudian menimbulkan fenomena tentang e-lifestyle yaitu mulai dari e-mail, e-banking, e-shopping, e-book, e-wallets, e-learning, e-news, e-commerce, e-trading, e-election, e-business, e-market, e-service dan e-cards. Di satu sisi, e-lifestyle memberikan banyak kemudahan tapi di sisi lain ini menimbulkan ancaman terutama dikaitkan dengan jaminan keamanan di semua transaksi yang terkait e-lifestyle. Terkait ini, jika aspek keamanan tidak mendapatkan prioritas perhatian dari semua pihak, maka akan terjadi fenomena: ‘don’t trust anyone, don’t trust anything’ dan kepercayaan akan menjadi “blind trust”. Hal ini tentu sangat dimungkinkan karena di cyber economy ada berbagai kasus yang mendasari misalnya ‘phising’ (kegiatan pengiriman e-mail palsu yang di dalamnya terkandung link ke sebuah situs web, yang bisa mengarahkan seseorang untuk menyerahkan identitas pribadi), atau ‘clickjacking’ (yaitu kode jahat yang tersembunyi di balik tombol klik di sebuah situs yang dikunjungi oleh seseorang). Aspek keamanan menjadi sangat penting karena fakta perkembangan e-lifestyle di Indonesia pada umumnya dan adopsi e-banking khususnya masih berada pada tahap pertumbuhan

Abstract

This study examined the correlation between social desirability with the magnitude of the individuals’ intensity to fake their responses on personality measurement in the context of job selection. Social desirability bias is defined as the tendency of individuals to give a response in a certain manner that will be viewed favorably by others. 90 students participated in the quasi experimental under within-subject design with two occasions. At the first occasion, participants were asked to complete the five-factor personality scale in an honest way (neutral condition) whereas in the second occasions they were asked to complete as if they are applicants who follow the employment selection (motivational condition). Intensity of faking was operationalized by the differences between both conditions. Data analysis suggests three findings: (a) personality measurement using self-reported techniques was vulnerable to faking when applied to employment selection. (b) There are individual differences in the amount of faking. (c) Social desirability can explain these individual differences, with the effect size between 2% to 20%. This study recommends that the using instrument to measure personality should be modified before it was applied to the selection process with respect to content of indicators and the impact of social desirability

Abstract

This study aims to examine the significant influence of women’s style on the demand ofcosmetic consumption in Surakarta. The frequency of cosmetic consumption in terms of its kindsand price significantly influences the demand of cosmetic consumption, Thus, it was confirmed. Inpartial (r), the price of cosmetics is the most dominant variable in determining the demand ofcosmetics. Every a 1 % price increase could raise the cosmetic consumption of 0.891 (inferiorgoods), but it’s kind could raise the cosmetic consumption of 0.753, and its frequency could raisethe cosmetic consumption of 0.188. Through autocorrelation, multicollinearity, andheteroscedasticity test, the result of this study showed that there was no real difference. Theinfluencing model of frequency of cosmetic consumption in terms of its kind and price on thedemand of cosmetic in double regression equation could be used the significant influence ifindependent variables on its dependent.

Hypothesizing in this research is anticipated there is related amongconsumer attribute covering gender, age, work and earnings to product attribute covering promotion,quality of, tidiness and price at Bookstore Gramedia Surakarta by significant Result of research indicates that there are relation among gender with promotion, quality, price,tidiness. There are relation among age with promotion, quality, price, tidiness, promotion, quality, priceand tidiness. There are relation among work with promotion, quality, price, and tidiness. Calculation of Contiguity among C with Cmaks indicate that related degree sequence amongconsumer characteristic (gender, age, earnings and work) with product characteristic (promotion, qualityof, tidiness and price) having tightest relation is earnings storey with quality, this matter is proved fromvalue contiguity of C with smallest C maks.

Abstract

This research in first year aim to to analyse influence signifikan among cultural factor, social factor, personal factor, and psychological factor to buying decision of batik product at Kampoeng Batik Laweyan Surakarta. Research done at chosen region that is: at Kampoeng  Batik Laweyan Surakarta. internal issue in this research is what there are influence which signifikan among cultural factor, social factor, personal factor, and psychological factor to buying decision of batik product at Kampoeng Batik Laweyan Surakarta.  Independent variable of this research are culture factor (X1), social factor (X2), personality factor (X3), and psychological factor (X4). And for dependen variable that is buying decision of  batik product at Kampoeng Batik Laweyan Surakarta (Y). This research use primary and secundary data. Primary data obtained from technique of survey field by spreading quetioner at consumer buying batik at Kampoeng Laweyan Surakarta, while data sekunder obtained from various source publicized. Result of research indicate that the 1) variable of culture factor have the influence which signifikan to buying decision of product , social factor variable have the influence which signifikan to buying decision of product, variable of personality factor have the influence which signifikan to buying decision the product, and psychological factor variable have the influence which signifikan to decision buy the product 2) result of analysis test the F of variable of culture factor, social factor, personality factor, and  psychological factor  together have the influence which signifikan to buying decision of product 3) result of calculation to assess the R2 obtained  78,4% variation changing to decision product explained by variation changing of culture factor, social factor, personality factor, and  psychological factor. While the rest equal  21,6% explained by other factor which don’t observation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between consumer characteristics andproduct attributes. Dimensions of consumer characteristics, are age, education, occupation,and income consumers. While, the dimention of product atribute are price, design, facility andlocation. This research’s setting is in the property industry. The research uses chi-square as atool of analysis. The results show that there is a relationship between consumer’s characteristicsand product attribute. Education level has the highestimpact to product attribute.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji ada tidaknya pengaruh yang signifikan antara kualitas pelayanan jasa dengan keputusan pasien berobat rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Moewardi. Dugaan awal yang dikemukakan pada penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh signifikan antara kualitas pelayanan dengan keputusan pasien di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Moewardi. Semakin baik kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan oleh pihak rumah sakit, maka akan semakin tinggi tingkat kepuasan yang dirasakan oleh pasien. Begitu juga sebaliknya, semakin buruk kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan pihak rumah sakit, maka semakin rendah tingkat kepuasan yang dirasakan oleh pasien.Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan pasien di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Moewardi yang berjumlah 100 orang. Data responden diperoleh dengan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara langsung kepada pasien dan dianalisis dengan pengujian validitas dengan menggunakan metode Pearson Product Moment, pengujian reliabilitas dengan metode Alpha Cronbach. Alat pengujian yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis adalah alat uji yang dapat menguji ada tidaknya perbedaan rata-rata antara empat kelompok sampel yang saling independen terhadsap suatu variabel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji Anova atau F-test menghasilkan nilai f hitung sebesar 4.532 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,005. Karena probabilitas signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka model regresi dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi kepuasan pasien atau dapat dikatakan kualitas pelayanan, tempat, dan harga secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien. Dari hasil penghitungan menggunakan SPSS 13 menunjukkan besarnya nilai koefisien determinasi r2 = 0,124. Hal ini berarti 12,4% variansi kepuasan pasien yang dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel kualitas pelayanan, tempat, dan harga. Sedangkan sisanya (100% - 12,4% = 87,6%) dijelaskan oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian.

Abstract

This research check about influence of change of working capital to change of profitability, whereprofitability proxied entrust in the form of some profitability ratio for example: GPM, OPM, NPM,ROI and ROE. Purpose is performed this research to test influence of change of working capital tochange of profitability from 50 manufacturing business which enlist in BEJ. Result of research indicatethat statistically change of working capital have an effect on to change of profitability, where from ratiosrepresenting proxy of the profitability which really influenced by MK is GPM and OPM. This Matteris proved with t of count obtained for the GPM and OPM were 2,340 (bigger than t of tables) orpursuant to its probability is obtained by p-value for the GPM and OPM were 0,021 (smaller than0,05).
