Abstract

Supply Chain Management is a set of approaches for the efficient integration of suppliers,manufacturing, warehouse and storage, so that goods are produced and distributed in the rightamount, the right location, the right time, to minimize costs and provide service to the customersatisfaction. At this time many companies are implementing Supply Chain Management to improvethe competitiveness of the company to another. Supply Chain Management is a strategic competitivetool for companies that make bersainganya logistical problems as a strategy to win the competition.The purpose of making this paper is to investigate the role of Supplay Chain Management inproduction systems and operations within the company that allows you to provide value to consumers in terms of availability and speed of service. So that consumers will feel the advantages of theproduct, although physically relatively similar to other products.

Abstract

The study aimed to examine the influence of factors in finance (firm size, ROI, financial leverage,EPS, proceeds, and current ratio) and non-finance (firm’s age, auditor’s and underwriter’s reputations,and sort of industry) on underpricing. Referring to the purposive sampling method, the number ofsamples in this study was 49 firms from 1999 to 2003. Data analysis used t test, F test, Rtest, anddouble linier regression with a 5 % level of significance. The test of financial variable influence on underpricing. The F test showed that the financialvariable influenced underpricing simultaneously. The independent variable in the model could explainthe dependent variable at 22.8%. The test of non-financial variable influence on underpricing,significant variables were the auditor’s and underwriter’s reputations, and sort of industry. The firm’sage variable influence on underpricing was insignificant. It means that the non-financial variableinfluenced underpricing simultaneously. The independent variable in the model could explain thedependent variable at 35.7%. The F test of financial and non-financial variable influences onunderpricing simultaneously.

Abstract

Meningkatnya harga minyak dunia yang  telah melebihi $100 per barel menyebabkan harga-harga relatif mengalami peningkatan yang pada akhirnya juga berdampak terhadap perekonomian nasional. Akibat meningkatnya harga minyak dunia tersebut, pemerintah akhirnya menaikkan harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) non subsidi berupa pertamax.Pengaturan langkah pembatasan BBM Bersubsidi diatur dengan Peraturan Menteri ESDM No 12 tahun 2012 dan yang terbaru Peraturan Menteri ESDM No. 1 Tahun 2013.Meskipun kebijakan pembatasan BBM Bersubsidi ditujukan untuk memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat luas, upaya konversi tidak terlaksana dengan lancar dan mudah.Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat menunda adopsi masyarakat terhadap pemakaian pertamax ini.            Penundaanterjadi ketika seorang individu memutuskan untuk tidak menggunakan produk inovatif terlebih dahulu.Dan individu ini ada dalam kondisi aktif, menunggu waktu yang dianggapnya tepat untuk mengadopsi Pertamax.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji sebuah model yang menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penundaan suatu produk inovatif yaitu Pertamax pada masyarakat target konversi energi. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan deduktif karena memfokuskan pada pengembangan hipotesis yang didasarkan pada suatu teori. Penelitian ini menggunakan survei karena memperhatikan sejumlah faktor yang menjelaskan penundaan Pertamax. Faktor-faktor tersebut adalah kepercayaan terhadap pemerintah, pengetahuan, persepsi komunikasi pemasaran integratif, persepsi risiko, persepsi keunggulan relatif, sikap ke arah penundaan, niat menunda dan penundaan. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara personal secara mendalam dan pengisian kuesioner.Responden adalah masyarakat pengguna BBM bersubsidi di wilayah Yogyakarta.Alat analisis data menggunakan structural equation modeling (SEM).Manfaat penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan untuk menentukan kebijakan yang bisa ditetapkan oleh pemerintah untuk mensukseskan pemakaian Pertamax di masyarakat, karena dari hasil penelitian ini dapat dijustifikasi faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat seorang konsumen untuk mengadopsi Pertamax dan langkah-langkah apa saja yang bisa dilakukan oleh produsen (Pertamina) dan Pemerintah untuk mengatasi faktor yang menyebabkan penundaan adopsi Pertamax. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model penundaan adopsi pertamax bisa diterima

Abstract

Emulation level which progressively tightened to cause every organization should be able to give superior value to customer. Organization should be able to give the service quality such as those which wanted by the customer, not solely pursuant to specification of organization. If this matter happened, hence customernot even fulfilled its requirement, farther customer will feel delight. Outcome of delight customer is customer loyalty.

Abstract

Unlearning stripped result old learning to give space for new information and new attitude. Unlearning is undoubtedly for individu or organization to receive new knowledge (herdberg,1981), increase innovation performance (pighin Marzona,2011) and increase the company abbility to facing  crisis (Starbuck, 1995), this article give six preposision that connect the literature from micro level and macro level use the mediation variable, multi level moderation to explain the fenomena in organizational behavior that don’t have enough support in empirical, individual and organizational unlearning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and (1) analyze the influence of organizational culture on employee performance (2) analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance (3) analyze the effect of work safety on employee performance (4) analyze the influence of organizational culture, job satisfaction, and work safety on employee performance and (5) formulate a strategy to improve employee performance that is appropriate to be implemented in PT Bakrie Construction. The selected respondents were employees of PT Bakrie Construction. In this case the researcher took a sample of 115 respondents. Data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) and to determine the performance improvement strategy used Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results of this study indicate that (1) Organizational culture does not significantly influence employee performance, but indirectly affects performance through job satisfaction. (2) Job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance (3) Occupational safety has a significant effect on employee performance (4) Job satisfaction together has a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture does not significantly influence performance, but indirectly affects employee performance through job satisfaction (5) The alternative strategy that can be done by PT Bakrie Construction in improving employee performance is to improve the welfare of its employees.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the influence of transformational  leadership style on performance,  organizational citizenship behavior, and subordinates attitude toward the leader. The research design used in  this study is survey. Respondents of this research were 140 subordinates that worked in three companies in livestock industry that has international and national market share. Random sampling was use to determine the respondents based on employee list. Data was analyzed by  simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that there is an increase explanation capability aplication of transformational  leadership addition on transactional leadership to performance, organizational citizenship behavior, subordinates attitude towards the each leader were 2,3%, 8,3%, and 70,4% respectively.  The results of this research lead to the conclusion that transformasional leadership addition gave stronger explanation of transactional leadership capability to predict  performance, organizational citizenship behavior, and subordinates attitude towards the leader. As many as 17.1% variability of performance could be explained by addition transformational leadership on transactional leadership, while it was 12,3% dan 72,4% on variability of organizational citizenship behavior and attitude of subordinates respectively.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is aimed to find out how far the improvement of store operation excellence, the increase of store communication effectiveness (visual merchandising), area trading optimization, focused marketing activity and community involvement have been built in clothing stores in Tegal city so that the retailers can win market competition.This study used a sample of 100 clothing stores in the city of Tegal as respondents. Respondents' answers to the closed questions about the variables studied in this study were then analyzed by using Multiple Regression Test while the answer to the open question was analyzed qualitatively.The results of this study indicate that increased communication effectiveness in the shop, focused marketing activities and community involvement significantly influence the strategy to win the clothing store retail market in the city of Tegal. For that it should be clothing store retailers can further improve these three variables to win more competitive market.Of the five variables above, the community involvement variable has the greatest effect for retailers to win the competition market with a score of 0.251. So a retailer to be more active in social activities by providing compensation to the poor and orphans. Keywords: Market winning strategy, excellence store operations, visual merchandising, area trading optimization, focused marketing activities and community involvement.

Abstract

This research aim to build awareness of small entrepreneur in known central industriesnamily in Krajan, Mojosongo, and Jebres Solo in throwing away waste result of produce. The benefitof this research is similar of behavior of environmental consciousness collectively that is betweenpublics and entrepreneur to realize area balance. Population of Research that is small entrepreneur inindustrial sentra known in Krajan, Mojosongo, Jebres. Data collecting method by the way of indepthinterview entangles two keyperson that is owner and plant lessee. The Result of research showedexistence of industrial sentra known triggers a number of consequences and appearance a number ofrisk opportunities, that is from smallest to the biggest threat is destruction of environment. Findingresult of indepth interview indicates the importance of building awareness model of behavior inthrowing away waste result of produce with emphasis on general behavior theory.

Abstract

This research objective is to find out the correlation between organizational commitment andorganizational climate with the job satisfaction. Job satisfaction functions as a dependent variable on this research. There are two variablesfunctioning as independent variables, those are the commitment and the climate of organization. Thehypothesis proposed in this research is divided into one major hypothesis, that is the correlation betweenorganizational commitment and organizational climate with the job satisfaction. Two minor hypothesisproposed in the study are the positive correlation between organizational climate with work satisfaction,and the positive correlation between organizational climate with the job satisfaction. The sample of this research is included three hundreds employees of Muhammadiyah University ofSurakarta, acquired by random sampling technique. Data is collected through questionnaire methodand analyzed by regression method. The result of this research indicates that there is a significant correlation between organizationalcommitment and organizational climate with the work satisfaction, while the dominant free variableand the commitment variable becomes the major contributor in affecting the job satisfaction. Theresearch also indicates that there is a positive and significant correlation between organizationalcommitment and the job satisfaction, in which the continuous and the normative factors become thedominant. This research also proves that there is a significant correlation between organizational climatewith the work satisfaction. The dominant factors are conformity and organization clarity. The other result of this research indicates that there is a very significant difference betweenorganizational commitment, organizational climate and the job satisfaction on many work units wherethe employees work.
