Abstract

Order picking is a process to fulfill customer order, with fast timing and provide high customer satisfaction. The order picking process is the highest cost in both manual and automatic systems, so it is necessary to improve efficiency and productivity. This study is aims to improve the productivity of order picking by shortening the distance. By choosing heuristic method using the application of interactive warehouse program, it is found that heuristic routing method can shorten picking distance. So, the routing heuristic method can increase the productivity of picking orders.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the current state of the system and facilities, machinery and equipment of horizontal winding machines from the safety, technical and environmental aspects in order to provide proposals for repair or improvement of current conditions and mitigation efforts Risk, especially in the scope of horizontal winding machine at PT XYZ, which is a fabrication company that produces tranformers and electric tranformer care services.  The method of analysis used in this research is Risk Reduction Management (RRM) consisting of two main phases: risk assessment and risk reduction of the security of a machine. Risk assessment involves a risk reduction followed by risk evaluation (risk analysis) and other risks. Based on the risk evaluation can be proposed risk reduction proposal. Based on the RRM analysis is found the potential risk of electrical system potentially occurring short-circuit and potentially uncontrolled mechanical objects, hand-pinned and uncontrollable engine rotation. To make the machine safe, proposed improvements to the electrical system (foot switch cable, cable fireplace, and periodic panel cleaning), as well as smoothing the mechanical system (making warning, inspection, protective fence, protective equipment, and emergency stop). Some of the recommendations can be well implemented by the company.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Z-Score value tothe stock returns of the mining companies listed in IDX for period of 2009-2013.The research design used in this study is quantitative approach. From apopulation of 37 mining companies, only 33 companies selected as the samplewith purposive sampling method (non probability sample). The method ofanalysis used in this study is panel data regression using Eviews version 8statistics software. The research will conducted in descriptive analysis throughAltman Z-score method. Based on the Z-score it will be analyzed the impact to thereturn of each stock. The results show that generally the stock return is influencedby the Z-Score value. The higher the Z-Score, the more valuable the stock return.Mining sector listed in IDX generally in the „grey area‟. To prevent loss, investorsuggested to invest only in the „safe zone‟ stocks.Keywords: Altman Z-Score,bankruptcy, stock return, mining, panel dataregression

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the relationship between Knowledge Management on performance in the banking services industry (BPD). This study uses the SEM (Structured Equation Modeling) method using PLS software based on primary data from the questionnaire. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that Knowledge Management has a significant effect on performance. This can be seen based on strong inter-dimensional relationships, where Knowledge Management has a very positive impact on performance. This means that if the implementation of Knowledge Management gets better, it will have a good impact on the company's performance.

Abstract

Measuring company performance using Balanced Scorecard method (BSC) begins with SWOT analysis by elaborating internal factors and external factors of company. From the results of this analysis it is known conditions in the current maintenance department and what strategies should be applied. Employee performance is one of the benchmarks of success of a company so serious attention to the management of human resources is absolutely necessary. During this time, performance measurement conducted by PT. BICC BERCA Cables only assesses the employee's softskill and is subjective. Therefore, there should be a comprehensive or comprehensive measurement of HR performance as in Maintenance Department. The purpose of this research is to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that can represent the achievement of human resource performance, to know and analyze the result of HR performance measurement, and to get improvement proposal to improve IKK that does not meet the expected target and identify IKK that can represent human resource performance. The results of HR performance identification resulted in 10 KPI consist of Hard Skill and Soft Skill. The results of the analysis found that several KPIs need to improve their performance, which is related to MTTR Energy cable from 3 hours to 2.7 hours (8.33%), Expense spare part from Rp 138,274,851 to Rp 125,000,000 (9.6%) per month, Repair electronic component, electrical and mechanical from Rp 30,000,000 to Rp 40,000,000 (25%), Training from 2 kalx meniadi 3 times a month (50%) and Improved Score Matrix from 70 to 75 (7.1%).

Abstract

Distribution center has an important role in an industry's supply chain management to facilitate logistics management requirements so that the product distribution process becomes smooth and fast. The purpose of this study is to determine the best location that can be used in determining the location of the distribution cente in pharmaceutical industry.  This research uses the center of gravity method to calculate optimal location that will be considered. From the results of this study, the calculation using the Center of Gravity method found that the location of the selected distribution center was at the coordinates (-6.257108; 106.7315), the settlement area of the village of Jurangmangu Timur. The available area according to warehousing rules does not allow the construction of the distribution center in residential area of Jurangmangu Bintaro village, empty area is available around 4 KM west of T8 Pakulonan Alam Tangerang Selatan, this area provides warehousing by offering a combined trading center, office and integrated food and beverage plaza with shelter have advantages as distribution center. The new proposed distribution center location is located 14 KM south and 13 KM from the north of the available warehouse, the new suggested location is closer to and located between current distribution locations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas layanan dan kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan, serta pengaruh kepuasan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Data diperoleh dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara acak terhadap pelanggan bolt yang tersebar di Jabodetabek. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis jalur (path analisis). Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa 1) kualitas pelayanan secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan Bolt, 2) kualitas pelayanan secara langsung berpengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Bolt, 3) kualitas produk secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepusan pelanggan Bolt, 4) kualitas produk secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Bolt, dan 5) kepuasan pelanggan secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Bolt.

Abstract. Costumer satisfaction is really important, because the customer willcome back to use the service. Customer satisfaction is also related to the quality ofservice received by the customer of a company products or services. The problemof service quality in a test lab PT MUTU is situated upon a description ofcustomer satisfaction regarding the analysis period of completion and certificatesdelivery time are still below standard PT MUTU against laboratory testingservices and there is a waste of time waiting for customers. Service qualityimprovement methods to the analysis period of completion and the delivery time acertificate is the DMAIC and lean approach, where the results of the improvementseen in the sigma level obtained. The tools used SIPOC, pareto diagram, CTQ,logic tree, two proportion test, DOE, p-chart, minitab-16. Abstract

Company shall give full attention to the quality of the products. In the electronics industry, quality control is the key to gain the loyalty of the customer. This is the basis for making improvement at the production activities, especially in controlling the quality in order to reduce the problem of scratch on the cover bottom using the six sigma DMAIC method. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factor that will cause defect to the product. The aimed target is to reduce the lower problem of defective products cover bottom 50%, it also to get the best result where previous defective products amounted to 8183 ppm has downed to 291 ppm and the level of the previous sigma 3,89σ rose to 4,94σ, the target is 4,14σ. This was result an exceed achievement from the Company’s target more than 50%. Six Sigma is the most effective tools at the present time, this will affect to eliminate defects, cut the time of making the product, eliminate unnecessary costs and the principal concept of science to support the sustainability of business which is focused on improving quality and customer satisfaction. The key success of improving quality depends on the ability to identify and solve the problems. This application may be useful and align with the company's philosophy, so that it can be expected to get the final outcome of the company.

Abstract

Abstract. Field Program has strategic role in improving the income poor farmersin the land of Papua. Work motivation, working environment and work disciplinewill help escort in program activities. Research to know the influence ofmotivation of work, and workplace against discipline of work. Study on NationalSociety Empowerment Program Rural Agriculture in Papua Province and WestPapua Province. Independent variables consists work motivation and Workenvironement, with work discipline as dependent variable. The sampling methodused is saturated and sample of respondents who provide the answer as many as58 people of respondents. The method of analysis used in this study is multiplelinear regression. The research results showed indicate the presence of thepositive significant effect or influence of working environment in partial againstdiscipline of work. The two of variables consits work motivation and workenvironment jointly showed significant effect to work discipline. Workenvironment give stir the very great work discipline.
