Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Sabang dengan tujuan menemukan konsep ruang pemukiman tradisonal serta nilai-nilai tradisional dalam pengaturan, penataan pemukiman dan lingkungan baik secara makro dan mikro. Penelitian ini adalah induktif kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan penelitian fenomenologi untuk menemukan makna pada apa yang tampak pada konsep ruang permukiman tradisonal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa permukiman tradisional Desa Sabang lebih menekankan pada unsur keseimbangan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam yang berdasarkan pada Nilai-nilai sosial, budaya dan kegiatan ekonomi. Sehingga permukiman ini, dibagi atas tiga bagian berdasarkan fungsinya yaitu ruang sebagai aktivitas wisata sejarah, ruang sebagai aktivitas wisata alam dan ruang sebagai wisata kuliner yang tercermin pada permukiman tradisional Desa Sabang. Nilai-nilai inilah yang mempengaruhi interaksi antara alam dan manusia di ruang permukiman tradisioanal sebagai basis wisata Desa Sabang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penentuan sewa tanah bengkok sebagai peningkatan pendapatan perangkat desa yang digunakan Desa Tawangrejo, yaitu dengan menggunakan model lotre sebagai penentuan sewa. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaiamana penerapan sewa model lotre yang dilakukan oleh pihak kantor desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi kasus, teknik yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan informasi yaitu dengan wawancara sebagai metode untuk mencari data. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa praktik penyewaan yang dilakukan oleh perangkat desa dengan menggunakan model lotre sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan penghasilan. Yaitu dengan menyewakan tanah bengkok yang diberikan kepada perangkat desa sebagai tunjangan selama menjabat.

Abstract

Food production is important to support food sufficiency. Meanwhile integratedfarming is a farming system purposed to optimize production factors in increasing yieldand also to eliminate agricultural waste, ideally it becomes zero waste. The researchpurpose was to measure food production from farm management which applied integratedfarming. This research result is used to predict food sufficiency in the region level. Theresearch was done at Batu and Malang Regency, East Java. The research subjects arefarmers who applied integrated farming, namely applying cultivation of crops andlivestock in one management and they use the waste from livestock as input of farming,vice versa. Primary data was taken by structured and indepth interview. The research showed that integrated farming can produce high yield of vegetable and dairy cattle. Meanwhile their usage of each farm waste can reduce (save) the farm cost. The success ofintegrated farming to increase yield at farm level can be used to predict food sufficiency atthe region level. If the implementation is getting wider at the region, they also can increasetheir food production. By using simulation, data of food production at farm level can beused as prediction of food production map at region level.

Abstract

Crackers is one of food product which is known for centuries in many forms. Thisis caused by the variety of flavors, and its simple processing. Generally, crackers isprocessed traditionally, so it is not surprising that some crackers producers simply processthem. Crackers is a famous and popular snack for Indonesian. The purpose of this researchis to know the most critical steps during the production and distribution process,identifying the factors that affecting product quality, and to know the best physical andchemical characteristic. The data of this research comes from questionnaire data and checklists of three crackers industry In three residents (Mangli, Kalisat, and Arjasa) in Jember.Organolepticness data and the chemical characteristic data come from the product of thoseregencies. The criterion of product flaw widely spread from the smallest to the biggest.They are thickness, crack, the ripeness and the color. The factors that affect the quality areraw materials, weather, employers, the engine, drying process, and cooking process. Basedon the analysis of organolepticness, it shows that based on the flavor of the crackers, themost favorable crackers is produced in Mangli. Based on the color, the most favorablecrackers is produced in Arjasa. Based on the crispness of the crackers, the most favorablecrackers is produced in Mangli. While the chemical analysis shows the highest watercontent of the crackers is produced in Mangli because the high content of fiber, while thehighest crackers ash content is produced in Arjasa.

Abstract

The overripe Robusta cherries had potential as a source of anthocyanin. The aim ofthis reseach was to investigated anthocyanin stability which extracted from cherries.Anthocyanin was extracted used ethanol and aquadest with ratio 1:1. Extraction wasrepeated 3 times untill the residue was colorless. After that this extract was kept at differenttemperature 5, 25 and 45 °C for 4 weeks. The stability was evaluated by content and lostanthocyanin, Hue color, pH and antioxidant activity. The result showed that during storageanthocyanin stability of all sample decreased. Sample which kept at 5 °C had the beststability with anthocyanin content 3.26 %,lost anthocyanin 26.55 %, Hue color 146.12, pH5.01 and antioxidant activity 16.26 % after 4 weeks. The least stability was obtained at samlple which kept at 45 °C with anthocyanin content 1.30 %, lost anthocyanin 29.02 % Hue color 124.92 ,pH 5.03 and antixidant activity 6.60 %.

Abstract

Cassava is always been economically valuable agriculture commodity since it can be produced into a lot of agroindustry product such as cassava crackers. In order to survivein competing business circumstance, cassava crackers producers should produce better,cheaper and faster product. This research is aimed to study the contractual relationshippattern which can be categorized into five dimension satisfaction, trust, communication,mutual interdependency and commitment. Research finding states that although there was a long term relationship among agents, yet there wasn’t any supply chain.

Abstract

Citrus was could to increase farmer prosperity, to arise regional and national economics. Therefore, it needs research about citrus marketing in Jember Regency. This objective of the study was (1) to identify and analyze channel of siam Citrus marketing in Jember Regency; (2) to identify and analyze citrus marketing efficiency. The study was conducted in selected areas of Umbulsari, Jember Regency, East of Java. The determination of research area was based on purposive sampling method. The method of data analysis used in this study was marketing efficiency analysis. The result of research indicate that (1) There are three category that showing channel of siam citrus marketing, there is : (a) from farmer to PP I (compiler merchant) then to PP II (consignor merchant) last to PBLK ( market), (b) from farmer to PBLK through of PP II, (c) from farmer directlyto PBLK (market). (2) Second (2nd) channel of siam citrus marketing is efficient channel. Others there was still imbalance distribution of marketing margin, profit and marketing cost, as well as the ratio of profit to marketing cost of the market actors.

Abstract

Institution is a rule of the game and organizations that play an important role in regulating the use and allocation of resources in an efficient, equitable and sustainable [1][2][3][9]. Institution will provide an important change in terms of industrial and agricultural sectors in tobacco plants. The research aims to identify prospects existence of formal and informal institutions against the tobacco industry in Gresik. The research data isprimary and secondary data. Research sites focused on Gresik. Technical analysis of data is using descriptive analysis and game theory. The results showed that the existence and role of formal and informal institutions will provide a new euphoria in the tobacco industry in Gresik. This is indicated by an effort to increase awareness of the importance of communication between economic actors in the tobacco industry.

Abstract

The yard is a piece of land with certain the boundaries existing residential buildings on it that have the functional relations, both economic, biophysical and socio-cultural with its inhabitants. Utilization of their yards need attention are really considering the amount of donation provided by the yard for the welfare of farmers. These benefits include food selfsufficiency to maintain stability, increasing incomes and improving nutritional status, but there are still many who do not effectively utilize the yard. In connection with the development of garden land there are some things that should be asked is whether to use their yards to be successful in increasing revenue, labor productivity, improve cost efficiency and improve the allocation of results of operations of the yard. This research was conducted in villages Dawuhan, Situbondo district, county Situbondo. Data collection began on July 15, 1998 until August 28, 1998, by taking the primary data and secondary data. The study area is based on the consideration that the district Situbondo people already aware of the potential of land owned by the yard to increase revenue and as a source of nutrition, and the village is Dawuhan III championship race TOGA (Family Medicine Plant) in East Java in 1997.
