Abstract

Forecasting is a statistical analysis to obtain an overview the development of event in the future. Forecasting performed on time series data, is a series of data observation data that affected by previous data. In addition, time series data is also affected by the location of research, it is called spatial correlations. This correlation can be analyzed by cluster analysis method. Cluster analysis aims to group objects based on similar characteristics. Variability of rainfall in Jember Regency depends on time and space so that there is a spatial correlation. Cluster analysis is expected to form groups that optimal in the data so that the forecasting results more optimal. Selection of the best forecasting models in this study is determined by the smallest RMSE value.

Abstract

Let G be a simple, connected and undirected graph and r, k be natural numbers. An edge coloring that uses k colors is a k-edge coloring. Thus a graph G can be described as a function c : V (G) → S, where |S| = k, such that any two adjacent vertices receive different colors. An r-dynamic k-coloring is a proper k-coloring c of G such that |c(N(v))| ≥ min{r, d(v)} for each vertex v in V (G), where N(v) is the neighborhood of v and c(S) = {c(v) : v ∈ S} for a vertex subset S. The r-dynamic chromatic number, written as χr(G), is the minimum k such that G has an r-dynamic k-coloring. In this paper, we will study the existence of r-dynamic k-coloring when G is shackle of wheel graph. As we know, that a shackle operation of H denoted by shack(H, v, n) is a shackle with vertex as the connector. We also can generated shackle graph with edge connector or subgraph as the connector.

Abstract

Robust Regression is a regression methods were used to analyze the data that contains some outliers. This regression is a statistical model were easy to influenced to small changes in the data. This method is often used for data analysis on additive model. In a modeling of two ways table, it has been known AMMI (Additive Main and Multiplicative Interaction) which can be used to analyze the stability of genotypes at several different environments by combining the additive model of main effect and multiplicative model of interaction. AMMI models used for data with normally distribution. AMMI models will against the same problem if there are outliers in two ways table. Because of that problem, it is necessary a robust method in decompotition of interaction matrix including robust SVD and Robust PCA. This study analyzed data on two-way tables that contain contain outliers by using approach of robust SVD and approach of robust PCA. The results of this study on both methods will be compared the goodness of model through the comparison of biplot of each model.

Abstract

In the era of knowledge economy, Intellectual Capital is an important factor for corporate competitive advantage and higher Financial Performance. This study aims to examine the mediating effect of Competitive Advantage on the influence of Intellectual Capital on Financial Performance. The study was conducted on 31 innovative manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Innovative manufacturing companies are companies that demonstrate a commitment to conducting research and development activities. The data analyzed was data from 2011-2016. Data analyzed used Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). The mediating effect of Competitive Advantage was tested used Sobel Test. The result of this research concludes that Intellectual Capital has positive and significant influence on Competitive Advantage, Intellectual Capital has positive and significant influence on Financial Performance, and Competitive Advantage has negative and significant effect on Financial Performance. Competitive Advantage significantly mediates the influence of Intellectual Capital on Financial Performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, Profit Margin on Sales, Return On Equity and Basic Earning Power on debt policy. The sampling technique utilized in this research is purposive sampling. There are 10 manufacturing companies in food and beverages sub sector which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2016 taken as the samples of this research . Data analysis technique that used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of statistical tests show that institutional ownership, Profit Margin on Sales and Basic Earning Power have a negative and significant effect on debt policy. Return On Equity has a positive and significant effect on debt policy. Managerial ownership has a positive and insignificant effect on debt policy.

Abstract

The challenge of the demand dynamic for international market standard and quality becomes logical consequences for all parties to pay a serious attention. Specific attention should be addressed not only to cultivation technique but also to the institutional management in every chain of Besuki Tobacco Na-Oogst cultivation. This research is conducted to formulate the strategy to develop the insititution amongst policy makers and farmers association of Besuki tobacco Na-Oogst in Jember Regency. The analysis method applied in this research is descriptive analysis using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to count for stakeholders’ perception related to the the development of institutional cultivation business of Besuki tobacco Na-Oogst in Jember Regency. Data are obtained by conducting in-depth interview and focus group discussion amongst all parties related including farmers, farmers’ association, exporters, exporters association, and the local government. The findings shows that the main priority factors to develop institution is the access to policy making from the government and the business players. Farmers are the most prioritized in the institution development of Besuki Tobacco Na-Oogst. The access to information and knowledge is crucial to increase productivity and to sustain the production as well as the market access. The effectiveness and the producers’ sustainability in the institutional management along with the market players and the policy makers are the result of the interrelation amongst three matters, bonding, bridging and linking. This becomes crucial in the national and international market access to generate positive sum game to collaborate, achieve and increase profit and to share benefit and loss.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and obtain in-depth data or information about the potential and problems of MSMEs Tenun Ikat in Kediri, so as to determine the right strategy in the framework of its development. The study used primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through field survey by giving a questionnaire and conducting interviews to 15 Tenun Ikat businessmen in Kediri. Secondary data is obtained from various sources of publication. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The result of SWOT analysis shows that the position of MSMEs Tenun Ikat Kediri is in diagram 3, meaning that MSMEs Tenun Ikat Kediri faces a huge market opportunity to be developed, but on the other hand it faces internal constraints / weaknesses. The focus of corporate strategy is to minimize internal weakness of the company, so as to seize greater market opportunities. Therefore, the weaknesses that currently still become an obstacle to the development of MSMEs Tenun Ikat Kediri need to interfere from several parties, whether entrepreneurs, local government, relevant agencies (Regional Planning Board, Department of Cooperatives and SMEs, Industry and Commerce) Banking and Universities.

Abstract

As the ASEAN community has made agriculture as the main sector of economic development, the agriculture in developing countries could have important direct and indirect implications for economic development. “Social capital” refers to the relationships of trust, communication, and institution or cooperation that facilitate collective action in a community. This paper explores whether social capital might be a reason that can make agricultural production increase in ASEAN 3. Perhaps social capital can give contributions to the cooperatives for their fellow members as well as their leadership. Institutions are important because it is the agency or organization that carries out activity. In the community, several institutions can be found which has the function of regulating the behavior and attitudes of its citizens that is the guideline for them when having interactions with one another. The institution is a pattern of activity that is formed to meet the various needs of human life. Our preliminary result show that the social capital especially in the institutions in ASEAN 3 can make a good environment for agriculture as the main sector of economic development in ASEAN 3. This paper used a descriptive analysis for answering the preliminary as development of agriculture forwards is required revitalization of social capital and transformation of agriculture sectors.

Abstract

E-filing is a service of charging and delivering Letter of Notification (SPT) electronically to Directorate General of Taxes, by utilizing internet communication channel. The purpose of this research is to test and analyze some factors that influence satisfaction of the e-filing users. That factors are quality of the system and quality of the information. The indicators of quality of the system are accuracy, database content, ease of use, ease of learning and realization of user requirement. Quality of the information indicators are relevance, informativeness, forma, content, accuracy, currency, timeliness, usableness, and clarity. The population in this study are all personal tax payers in Kediri, the sampling technique is judgement sampling with a total of 200 samples. Data collection using questionnaire. Data analysis technique using SPSS. The results of the research shows that system quality and information quality has been proved significantly has positive influence to the satisfaction of e- filing users.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan akuntabilitas Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Desa pada aparatur desa Mandesan dalam menentukkan tingkat kredibilitas yang dimiliki melalui pengelolaan keuangan desa. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, serta menggunakan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi dalam mengumpulkan data yang dibutuhkan. Dengan model analisis interaktif untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh. Studi menemukan bahwa tingkat kredibilitas aparatur desa Mandesan dapat dinilai melalui pertanggungjawaban dalam mengelola keuangan secara optimal. Dengan diterapkannya asas pengelolaan keuangan yang mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri No.113 Tahun 2014, dan adanya kejelasan sasaran anggaran yang berorientasi pada masyarakat dengan ketercapaian realisasi yang mendekati nilai anggarannya. Serta terjadi upaya melakukan peningkatan kualitas aparatur desa melalui pemantapan administrasi keuangan secara konsisten, akuntabel dan transparan.
