Abstract

Nutrition knowledge is principal issues related to various nutritional problems that occur in Indonesia. Maternal role in children’s growth and development is very dominant, that is in caring for and educating them. Parenting patterns applied by the mother can affect the growth of the children, especially the nutritional status. Goals to be achieved in this study are: 1) to inquire nutrition and health knowledge of mothers with malnutrition children; 2) to examine food and health parenting pattern applied by mothers with malnutrition children and 3 ) to analyze the relationship between nutrition and health knowledge and parenting pattern implemented by the mother. The method used in this study is the Cross-Sectional. The results show that more than half of mothers’ nutrition and health knowledge is in medium category. More than half of mothers’ food parenting pattern is in fairly good category. Whereas, mothers’ health parenting pattern is in good category. Toddlers’ nutritional status, as measured using anthropometry, is generally in normal category. Spearman correlation test results state that there is a positive and significant relationship, and thus it can be concluded that the higher the mother's nutrition knowledge score, the better the food parenting pattern.

Abstract

Improvement in teachers' teaching performance can be achieved by improving school leadership and school climate. This study aims: (a) to investigate the school leadership, school climate, and teacher’s performance, (b) to know how great the influence of school leadership and school climate on teacher’s performance. The study shows that the school principal leadership of State Vocational School (SMK) in Indramayu Regency, which includes dimensions of personality, decision-making ability, ability to communicate, motivate and delegate an authority, provides fair influence on performance. School climate also has fair influence on the performance of teachers. Teachers’ performance is in fair category. School leadership has a positive effect on the performance of teachers but is not enough (less fair) to motivate the performance. The school climate has less fair influence on teacher’s performance and can motivate the performance. School leadership and climate provide a significant positive impact on teacher’s performance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat pengalaman berarsitektur, tingkat kreativitas desain, dan kontribusi pengalaman berarsitektur mahasiswa terhadap kreativitas desain arsitektur. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data, untuk pengukuran variabel pengalaman berarsitektur, menggunakan teknik angket, sedangkan pengukuran variabel kreativitas desain memakai tes. Populasi adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman berarsitektur mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori cukup tinggi, sedangkan sedangkan kreativitas desain mahasiswa tergolong rendah. Uji hipotesis, memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pengalaman berarsitektur mahasiswa dengan kreativitas desain arsitektur mahasiswa, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,66 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Kontribusi pengalaman berasitektur terhadap kreativitas desain mahasiswa sebesar 43,76%, sisanya ditentukan oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

Employability Skills terminology is widely used in many countries it is the basic skills needed in the 21st century. This study aims to look at the relationship between career choices employability skills among vocational skill student. This study participated by 106 third year vocational students in vocational colleges participated in this study. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential. The findings of the relationship employability skills with career choices recorded value is .742, which also proved a strong relationship between these variables. In conclusion, the employability skills are need to be improved by applying more effective by the vocational training to ensure they are eligible for employment after graduation. The study also proved that the employability skills of students affect them more likely to choose a career in the same field with the course they have chosen

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kreativitas ,kecerdasan entrepreneur, kecerdasan kompetitif terhadap kinerja pimpinan Universitas Negeri Manado.Sampel penelitian sebanyak 96 Pimpinan Jurusan/program studi dan dosen. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif . Analisis jalur digunakan untuk menganalisis data secara inferensial dan deskriptif . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif kreativitas terhadap kinerja ,(2) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif entrepreneurship terhadap pimpinan, (3) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif kecerdasan kompetitif terhadap pimpinan,(4) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif kreativitas terhadap kecerdasan kompetitif,(5) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif entrepreneurship terhadap kecerdasan kompetitif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kinerja pimpinan Jurusan /Program studi supaya berdaya saing tinggi dan unggul ,perlu meningkatkan kreativitas , kecerdasan entrepreneur dan kemampuan kecerdasan kompetitif.

Abstract

This study is aimed to know the description of Cooperative Learning Methods Jigsaw Techniques and its influence on Student Learning Achievement of the student in Economic Education Program 2006, Faculty of Social Sciences Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung. This study is a descriptive verification study with explanatory survey method and cross sectional method based on time period. The data are presented in  primary and secondary data with the data collectted through observation, library research, and questionnaire. The analysis technique is regression analysis with SPSS computer software as the tool 12. Based on the findings obtained by statistical tests shows that there is a positive influence of Cooperative Learning Methods Jigsaw Techniques with students’ Learning Achievement. It can be concluded that achievement is influenced by the Method of Cooperative Learning Jigsaw Technique.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop activities and result student learning outcomes inMechanical Engineering Basic using Cooperative Learning Model Type Jigsaw II on XTP1 students atSMKN 6 Bandung. Research method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists ofthree cycles. The study conducted by learning begins with pretest and posttest each cycle. Average yieldfor the specialist group activity each cycle as follows: Cycle I 44.16% (being), increase in cycle II to56.83% (being), cycle III to 86% (very high). Then the average home group activity for each cycle asfollows: cycle I 37.5%, increase in cycle II to 69.79% (high). Increased again the third cycle to 93.83%(very High). From the activity affect students’ learning result in each cycle of learning, especially pretestresult and posttest scores : pretest cycle I 48.91 and posttest 63.78 (up 14.84). 61.89 cycle II pretest andposttest 78.78 (up 16.89), 72.56 cycle III pretest and posttest 86.89 (up 14.33). Based on Analysis ofresearch data obtained in the field I nt can be concluded that the application of Cooperation LearningModel Type Jigsaw II can be increase the activity learning and learning result outcomes in subjectMechanical Engineering Basic of XTP1 at SMKN 6 Bandung.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze difference of the results of students learning the practice of productive, that is: learning strategy between with music and without music, student who has high motivation even hard with learning process of with music and without music. Interactions between learning strategy with student learn motivation by music. This research is experiment research with factorial 2x2 designs. Population student X grade Tata Boga major tourism group of vocational high school in West Sumatra. The sample is taken by multistage random sampling. The Data is analyzed descriptively and ANAVA two way analyzed and continued by Tukey test. The findings research shows that (1) the result of student learning the practice of productive group with learning music is higher than without learning music. (2) there is interaction between processes using music with student motivation learning that giving difference influence to the productive practice student learning (3) the result of group of students learning the practice of productive who have high motivation by learning music is higher than without learning music, and (4) The result of a group of students learning the practice of productive who have low motivation with learning music is lower than without music.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan:(1) kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek sesuai kurikulum 2013, berorientasi Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia dan Standar Industri Bidang Perbaikan Motor Listrik; dan (2) mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar PML yang dibelaj arkan dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dan Model Pembelajaran Langsung. Metode penelitian Riset and Development (RD). Penelitian diawali penyempurnaan perangkat pembelajaran hasil peneliti tahun 2013, dilanjutkan validasi ahli dan uji coba luas. Populasi dan sampel siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri dan Swasta di Jawa Timur.Kelas eksperimendibelajarkan dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dan kelas kontrol dibelajarkan dengan Model Pembelajaran Langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validasi perangkat pembelajaran pada kategori sangat valid dan valid. Rata-rata hasil belajar ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa kelas eksperimen berbeda signifikan dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Problem solving skills are something essential to achieve success in various activities in everyday life. To train students’ intellectual to have them problem solving skills, the students are given the opportunity to explain the answer with its own language. Beside that they should be given the opportunity to behave as an expert and should be given the emphasis on qualitative issues as well. One of forms in training problem solving skills is by problem solving tasks. The results of research showed that the level of student mastery of problem solving tasks is good category, while the average level of student mastery of math concepts is medium category. Large contribution from the mastery of problem solving tasks of mastering math concepts at 82.9%. This shows that the mastery of problem solving tasks can contribute to student mastery of math concepts. Based on the coefficient of determination can be stated that the level of mastery of problem solving tasks can be used as a reference in predicting students' mastery of math concepts.
