Abstract

Increasingly expensive price of quality woods and difficulties of workmanship, it makes people switch from wood to lightweight steel as a roof truss. The use of lightweight steel as truss becomes popular because of the fast workmanship dan durability of the material. Many cases show that lightweight steel truss at school and house collapsed and caused a fatality. This lightweight steel truss study was carried out on a full scale with a span of 6 m and a slope of 300, while the loading test pattern at the placement points of battens was like truss in the community. The goals of this study to measure and observe several parameters including weight, maximum capacity, stiffness, ductility, price, length of work, and failure pattern. From testing, the result shows that lightweight steel truss has dead weight, maximum capacity, stiffness value, ductility value, price, working time, and failure pattern respectively of 21,3 kg,734 kg, 91,18 kg/mm, 2,97, Rp 1.740.000, 2 days, and failure pattern is buckling on the diagonal top chord. The result of this research indicates that lightweight steel truss can be used in the community with the limitation of using metal roof coverings instead of concrete or ceramic and the distance between the truss max 1,2 m.

Abstract

At this time, plastic is a material that is needed by the wider community and its impact is also extraordinary after the plastic is used in everyday life which can cause serious problems if the management is not done properly. The problem of plastic waste does not only occur in the city of Semarang, but also in other cities, so that the Ministry of Environment and Forestry to impose a program to use paid plastic bags in the short term. But this is only to deal with problems in the short term. In the long run, it will not solve the problem of "plastic waste", because the policy actually encourages people to buy plastic which, of course, will add a new burden on the community to buy it. The results showed that the compressive strength of light brick with the model / type of BN s.d. B10.0 with 10 variations of the mixture of the addition of plastic waste starting from (1.0 to 10.0)% to the weight of Portland Cement (PC) there is a decrease in the average compressive strength. The lowest was the addition of 10.0% plastic waste with an average compressive strength of 9.88 kg / cm². The regression equation obtained Y = 0.042 X ² - 1.177 X + 18.84 with a correlation value R ² = 0.934, meaning that the addition of plastic waste ranging from (1.0 to 10.0)% of the weight of Portland Cement (PC) has the effect of "very strong "against the compressive strength. So we can get a picture that by adding the addition of plastic waste affects the compressive strength decreases. So that it can be investigated with other compositions by adding Fly Ash and sand made with a mixture ratio of 1 PC: 2 Aggregate (Sand and Fly Ash), with the hope that this Fly Ash waste can also be used for lightweight brick building elements

Abstract

It is hoped that the study of air quality monitoring in the area around the road can provide input to the Policy Provider regarding the number of motorized vehicles and road geometry planning so that air quality continues to meet health standards. The tool used in this study is a CO meter. Data was collected for 1 week on roads in Semarang by recording the number of vehicles passing within a certain period of time on roads with various road slopes and the amount of CO levels in the air. The data from the measurement results are compiled and then analyzed, namely analyzing the relationship between the amount of CO content in the air and the number of vehicles on the road with a certain slope. From the results of the analysis, the results will be obtained how much influence the number of passing vehicles with CO levels in the air on roads with certain slopes. The resulting output is a graph of the relationship between CO levels and the number of vehicles on various road slopes. The results showed that there was an increase in the amount of CO to the number of vehicles for the variation of the road slope of 0.5%, 2% and 5%. A significant increase in the amount of CO occurred during peak hours, namely 7.00 - 8.00 and 16.00 - 17.00 hours even exceeding the established threshold of 15,000 μg / Nm3.

Abstract

One of the computer applications that can be used in project management control is the Microsoft Project application. With Microsoft Project , information related to activities that fall into the critical trajectory and allocation of resource placement can be known, so that the project does not experience delays and a decrease in work productivity. Based on the results of the analysis using the Microsoft project, it is found that activities are included in the critical trajectory, namely: pile work, soldier pile, excavation, excavation fireplace, brickwork installation, work floor, pile cap and superstructure work. The results of the analysis show the need for the number of workers from the 1st month to the 8th month: 31, 43, 43, 40, 37, 31, 10. The needs of the foreman are: 2, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2 , 2, 1. For crane operator resources in the 1st month and 2nd month is as many as 3 people. Subcontractor 1 and subcontractor 2 require as many as 1 person in the resources of the 2nd month to the 3rd month. A mason is needed from the 2nd to the 8th month: 12, 9, 8, 7, 7, 6, 2. Resource analysis for the head mason every month: 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1. Analysis of the allocation of resource placement can be carried out in several stages if a graph of the resources fluctuates or does not comply with the principle of resource allocation.

Abstract

The Kaligawe Genuk area is the main route for the North Coast (Pantura) of Java.The area is the gateway to the city of Semarang from the east direction. Since 2005,this area has frequently had floods caused by tides (tidal floods) and rainfall. TheCentral Government, supported by the Semarang City Government, built the KaliTenggang and Sringin Polder systems from 2016 to 2019. In terms of capacity, thissystem is not yet perfect for dealing with floods, and it requires efforts so that thesystem can be operated optimally. This study activity aims to simulate rainfall flowrate, the pump capacity, and the retention pond. The simulation results will becomethe basis for the development of the polder system operational manual. Theimplementation method collects secondary rainfall data, reviewing the condition ofa catchment area, retention pond, and pump station. Focus group discussion withstakeholders done in the Kaligawe Genuk area. The location of the activity is morefocused on the Kali Sringin area. This study produces tables and graphs of pumpcapacity simulation, retention ponds, and an operational manual for the SringinPolder system. It is hoped that this guideline will become the basis for the poldersystem's sustainable operations.

Abstract

Innovation in the world of construction is something that is indispensable, one of theinnovations in the construction sector is precast. The use of precast is expected to beable to reduce project costs to accelerate the duration of work. But in fact, theproducts of innovation in the world of construction have not been fully able to havea positive impact, both in terms of cost, quality, time, waste, on project development.Products of innovation are usually not necessarily in accordance with the wishesand needs of the customer. The purpose of this research is to analyze thecomparison of products in terms of time, cost, quality, waste, and in terms of K3Lbetween projects using precast walls and projects using the lightweight brick wallmethod. This research was conducted by (1) conducting a project simulation if theproject did not use precast, (2) comparing a real project with a simulation project interms of cost, quality, time, waste, and K3L. The use of precast in the Cordovaproject when compared to a simulation project that uses lightweight bricks results in(1) in terms of time saving 36,84 % on the simulation results project (2) in terms ofcosts can be reduced by Rp. 101.488.543,99 (3) in terms of quality precast materialhas The quality is better than the lightweight bricks (4) in terms of waste, in thesimulation result project it creates more waste (5) in terms of K3L, the use ofprecast is more environmentally friendly than the simulation results project.

Abstract

In Indonesia, infrastructure development is carried out on a large scale. With alarge infrastructure development, it must be balanced with good quality structuralwork performance. On the basis of this, it is necessary to analyze the qualityperformance of reinforced concrete structures in the construction projects of Hotels,Mall and Apartment Tentrem. The research objective was to analyze the qualityperformance from the aspects of strength, density, and dimensions of reinforcedconcrete structures work; analyzing the factors that cause construction defects inreinforced concrete structures work; and find the right strategy in dealing withconstruction defects in reinforced concrete structures work. The research methodused is the method of field inspection, interview and literature method. From thisresearch, the quality performance that does not match the requirements is thedensity aspect. Construction defects in the density aspect are caused bythe formwork that is hollow and there are gaps between the formwork joints, theaddition of water to the fresh concrete mixture, the way to use the vibrator machinedoes not meet the requirements. Abstract

The rapid development of road project development cannot be separated from the cost problem which often experiences cost overrun. This swelling can occur if a project management and control is not going well and does not meet the project target. The study was conducted to see the dominant factors that caused the cost overrun by the contractor for the implementation of the Karanganyar District Budget in Central Java Province which took place in 2017 and 2018, by distributing questionnaires to contractors. The results of the respondents collected were 36 respondents with 27 respondents. The questionnaire was processed by data processing using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 25 program. Reliability testing of 36 questionnaires showed that there were three unreliable questionnaires. In addition, the validity results of several variables in the questionnaire were obtained, namely one invalid variable. In addition to the validity and reliability tests, parametric statistical tests and multiple linear analysis were also carried out, then the results of the dominant factors that led to the implementation of Cost Overrun were schedule due to the influence of weather, disasters, poor cost control, not taking into account unexpected costs, and interest rates. bank loans, as well as the proportion of dominant cost overruns that occurs between 1% -5%

Abstract

Risk is a consequence of uncertain conditions. Risk will always exist in every construction project because basically a construction project is a unique, dynamic and risky activity. The purpose of this research is to analyze the risks in the construction project of the North Ring Road Brebes - Tegal and the purpose of this study is to identify risks, conduct risk level assessments and handle high risks that affect the project. This study uses two data, namely secondary data and primary data. Primary data, namely risk identification data, risk level data and risk response data. Secondary data, namely organizational structure data. The data that has been obtained are then analyzed using the Probability and Impact Matrix (PIM) method and followed by calculating the risk level value. Based on this value, the category and ranking of each risk is then determined. In the last stage, analysis of the handling of the highest risk is carried out. The results of the risk identification analysis of this study obtained 33 risks, then the results of the analysis using the Probability and Impact Matrix (PIM) method obtained 3 (three) high risks, namely incomplete design data, conflicts of interest with residents, inadequate project information (soil testing and reports survey). Ten risks fall into the moderate category and 20 other risks fall into the low category.

Abstract

Flight safety is very much determined by the performance of navigation aids, as well as thecorrectness of flight procedure guidelines. The BBKFP Center as the only aviationequipment calibration service agency has a strategic role for aviation safety in asustainable manner. The purpose of this research is to map the performance of BBKFPand the assessment of users of calibration services to provide recommendations, inparticular, the future calibration service development strategy, and the management ofcalibration of aviation navigation equipment in general. The research method uses a casestudy with the Importance-Performance Analysis method approach to measuring the extentof the relationship between the level of user satisfaction and the performance of flightnavigation tool calibration services based on 12 standard service indicators. The resultsfound that the highest level of service was the standard document calibration process of100% and the lowest level of service was timeliness of service by 64%. The factor that stillneeds immediate improvement is the timeliness of service and the Management System andService Procedures. While the factors that must be corrected but not immediately theircharacteristics include Complaint Services; Demand-Supply Balance, Service Rates,Service and Internal Supervision Meeting.
