Abstract

Abstract. A research on the application of learning models Creative Problem Solving in the material buffer solution which aims to improve (1) the activities of teachers, (2) the activity of students, (3) the ability to think creatively, (4) learning outcomes, and (5) students' response to learning. The study design was a classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles consist of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects were students of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin with the number 36. Data were collected through observation, testing the ability of creative thinking and cognitive achievement test. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that (1) the activities of teachers has increased score of 12.33 (very good), (2) the activity of students has increased score of 17.33 (very active), (3) the ability of creative thinking of students for each indicator: ( a) fluency increased by 39.06%, (b) originality increased by 39.46%, (c) flexibility increased by 23.79%, (d) elaboration increased by 36.46% (4) the cognitive learning students classical increased by 25%, affective learning outcomes of students increased by 23.68% (excellent), and psychomotor learning outcomes of students increased by 16.3% (highly skilled), and (5) student of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin responded positively to the learning model of learning by using Creative Problem Solving.Keywords: creative thinking ability, learning outcomes, creative problem solving

Abstract

Abstract. A research on the application of blended learning in the material solubility and solubility product. This study aims to determine (1) the formation of students' mental models after using blended learning, (2) the difference between the results of student learning through the implementation of blended learning and conventional learning material is applied to the solubility and solubility product of high school students of class XI Science PGRI 4 Banjarmasin, (3) students' response to the application of blended learning and conventional learning material that is applied to the solubility and solubility product of high school students of class XI Science PGRI 4 Banjarmasin. The research method used was a quasi experiment. Research sample are high school students of class XI Science PGRI 4 Banjarmasin which consists of class XI IPA 1 as the control class (n = 27) and class 2 as class XI Science experiments (n = 25). Data collection techniques and the value of using student response test and questionnaire techniques. Statistical analysis using ANOVA test path. The results showed that (1) the formation of students' mental models after using blended learning on material solubility and solubility product for the better, (2) learning outcomes between students who learn the material solubility and solubility product using high Lebing blended learning compared with students who learn the material solubility and solubility product using conventional learning, (3) blended learning received a positive response from the students of class XI Science 2 SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin on material solubility and solubility product.Keywords: blended learning, mental model, learning outcomes, solubility and solubility product.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to know how ChemBird media usage get effect on the interest and the organic chemistry academic achievement in STKIP YAPIM Maros biology student. This research used descriptive quantitative approach which in a true experiment. Biology students with academic year 2015/2016 were population with 51 students as a sample through random sampling technique used. Data collection techniques used observation method, documentation, questionnaire and test. Data analysis technique used multivariate analysis. The result showing is that, the average of posttest result in biology class I (experiment) reach 54,73 and biology class II (control) reach 47,69 thru Manova test. Then, it concluded that there is no effect ChemBird media usage on the students’ interest, but there is influence it on academic achievement.Keywords: chembird media, interest, academic achievement

Abstract

Abstrak. Miskonsepsi bilangan kuantum dan konfigurasi elektronik telah teridentifikasi terhadap pesertadidik SMA Negeri Kota Banjarmasin melalui studi deskriptif. Sebanyak 129 peserta didik kelas XI IlmuAlam di 4 (empat) SMA Negeri Kota Banjarmasin menjadi responden dengan menggunakan Instrumen UjiMiskonsepsi yang telah divalidasi. Instrumen Uji Miskonsepsi terdiri atas 46 butir pertanyaan yang terdiriatas 10 butir soal berbentuk pilihan ganda tanpa alasan dan 36 butir soal berbentuk pilihan ganda denganalasan setengah terbuka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan telah terjadi miskonsepsi bilangan kuantum dankonfigurasi elektronik pada peserta didik kelas XI Ilmu Alam di 4 (empat) SMA Negeri kota Banjarmasin.Berdasarkan data hasil implementasi, miskonsepsi tipe-1 dengan persentase lebih dari 20% terjadi padasubkonsep bilangan kuantum magnetik dan hubungannya dengan koordinat Cartesius (x, y, z),menentukan set bilangan kuantum, dan konfigurasi elektron unsur transisi. Sedangkan miskonsepsi tipe-2dengan persentase lebih dari 50% terjadi pada subkonsep bilangan kuantum magnetik dan kaitannyadengan koordinat Cartesius (x, y, z), bilangan kuantum magnetik spin (terutama untuk elektron takberpasangan dalam orbital), menentukan set bilangan kuantum suatu unsur, energi orbital 3d dan 4s, danpenulisan konfigurasi elektron untuk unsur dengan nomor atom > 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwapenyebab utama terjadinya miskonsepsi bilangan kuantum dan konfigurasi elektronik pada peserta didikadalah guru dan buku teks kimia yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk menghilangkan ataumemperkecil miskonsepsi secara teoretik khususnya untuk konsep bilangan kuantum dan konfigurasielektronik, direkomendasikan pentingnya sosialisasi atau suatu kegiatan untuk menegaskan konsep yangbenar terkait konsep bilangan kuantum dan konfigurasi elektronik tersebut.Kata kunci : miskonsepsi, bilangan kuantum, konfigurasi elektronik.

Abstract

Abstract. Quality of teaching materials is needed in learning. One of the teaching materials development techniques is development of teaching materials based on the learning model. Learning models that can be applied in teaching materials development are Advanced Organizer with SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) vision. The research development model used is 4D and implemented in SMA Negeri 1 Kuala Kapuas on colloid material. The sample in this research consisted of 12 students of XI IPA for small group test, 28 students of XI IPA 3 and 28 students of XI IPA 4 for limited field-testing. Data collection techniques use expert validation sheets, learning result tests, observation and response questionnaires. The validity of teaching materials by experts obtained an average score of 3.5 with very good category (valid). Legibility test results are very good, student responses in very good category, and observation of teacher and student activity in active category. The effectiveness of teaching material is high category in small group test and limited field-testing in XI IPA 3 and modium category in XI IPA 4. It shows the teaching material based on Advanced Organizer with SETS vision on colloid material for high school students has valid, practical and effectively used in the learning process. Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang inovasi pembelajaran IPA pokok bahasan cara menangani limbah dengan pembuatan video pengolahan limbah. Penerapan cara belajar ini diharapkan berdampak positif dalam membangun prestasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa (2) meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini  menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran 2 SMKN 1 Pugaan yang berjumlah 31 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa instrumen tes tertulis tipe soal essay yang berjumlah 5 dan lembar penilaian video buatan siswa, serta instrumen non tes berupa lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) motivasi belajar siswa meningkat berdasarkan skor rata-rata aktivitas siswa dimana pada siklus I siswa sangat aktif masih <75% menjadi >75% siswa sangat aktif pada siklus II dengan asumsi tingginya aktivitas belajar menunjukkan tingginya motivasi belajar siswa. (2) prestasi belajar siswa meningkat dari 80,6% siswa tuntas individual dengan nilai > 60 pada tes akhir/evaluasi belajar pada siklus 1 menjadi 100% pada siklus II. (3) Penilaian pembuatan video pengolahan limbah yang dilakukan siswa juga mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari rata-rata nilai per kelompok 2,81 dengan kategori cukup baik pada siklus I menjadi 3,34 pada siklus II.Kata kunci: Pembuatan video pengolahan limbah, cara menangani limbah,  motivasi, prestasi

Abstract

Abstract. The activity of students of class X MIPA 6 of SMAN 7 Banjarmasin on the learning of the Fungi concept in the 2016/2017 school year is still relatively low, even though their learning outcomes are in accordance with the KKM (≥70). The teacher has implemented various ways to increase student activity. Student activities will affect student learning outcomes. Classroom Action Reseach (CAR) as an effort to improve the quality of teaching and the learning in classroom also indirectly plays an important role in improving the quality of education. This research aimed to improve student activity and learning outcomes, as well as describe the responses of students in class X MIPA 6 of SMAN 7 Banjarmasin in the academic year 2017/2018 on the learning of the Fungi concept through the implementation of a combination of PBL and NHT learning models. Research subjects were 34 students with 14 male students and 20 female students. This research was carried out in 2 cycles with 2 meetings per cycle. This results indicated that student activities that were observed increased from cycle-I (83.5) to cycle-II (89). Cognitive learning outcomes of students assessed through posttest increased from cycle-I (80%) to cycle-II (92%). The learning outcomes of the process were assessed through LKPD, questions and answers about NHT, and the product increased from cycle-I (72.08) to cycle-II (82.70). Affective learning outcomes: 1) character behavior were observed increased from cycle-I (77.74) to cycle-II (92.64), 2) social behavior were observed increased from cycle-I (71.88) to cycle-II (91.84). Psychomotor learning outcomes were observed increased from cycle-I (74.66) to cycle-II (86.03). The response of students to these models showed a positive response (98%). The implementation of a combination of PBL and NHT learning models can improve student activity and learning outcomes on the concept of Fungi.

Abstract

A study concerning the learning material salt hydrolysis, solubility and solubility product, as well as colloidal IA school in class XI PGRI 7 Banjarmasin. This study aims to develop teaching skills (pedagogy) via reflection, the teacher's role, cognitive and affective learning outcomes of students. Student teacher candidates will experience the transition from student to teacher. The researcher as a student teacher candidates recognize the need to form teacher competence (pedagogical, personal competence, social competence, professional competence) in the final period of the course. The establishment of these competencies do research through Action Research uses instructional strategies Numbered Heads Together (NHT) and improvement through self-reflection, aided by experienced teachers. This research method using action research design with 14 meeting. Each meeting consists of planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. Subjects were high school students of class XI IA PGRI 7 Banjarmasin with the number 34. Data were collected through observation, reflection, questionnaires, and interviews. Data were analyzed with descriptive interpretive techniques. The results showed that the ability to teach researchers had better change based on data from the observer who observed since the beginning of the meeting until the last meeting learning lessons. Transition prospective student teachers become teachers in conducting action research can be used as one way to develop teaching skills. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gaya belajar dan kecerdasan ganda mahasiswa baru program studi pendidikan kimia ULM. Jenis penelitian adalah survei. Adapun aspek yang diteliti adalah gaya belajar dan kecerdasan ganda. Teknik pengambilan data dengan purposive sampling. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan kimia dengan sampel berjumlah 38 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen angket gaya  belajar. Adapun hasil penelitian antara lain  mahasiswa program studi pendidikan kimia memiliki kecenderungan gaya belajar audiotorial dibandingkan gaya belajar visual dan gaya belajar kinestetik. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian itu adalah audiotorial sebesar 35 poin, gaya belajar visual sebesar poin, dan gaya belajar kinestetik sebesar 33 poin. Mahasiswa program studi pendidikan kimia juga memiliki kecenderungan pada dominasi kecerdasan ganda pada kecerdasan linguistik. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 52,63% kecerdasan linguistik dan 47,36% kecerdasan logis-matematis. Penyebabnya karena lingkungan belajar mahasiswa sehari-hari terampil berinteraksi sosial, aktif menyampaikan pendapat.

Abstract

Abstract. This study is aimed to determine the improvement of students' process skills, student learning outcomes, teacher activities, student activities and student responses to the application of guided inquiry learning model. This study applies classroom action research design by using 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and evaluation, as well as analysis and reflection. The subject of this study was students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 11 Banjarmasin. There were two instruments used in this study: 20 questions of process skills and learning outcome test by using objective question type and non test instrument. The results of this study showed that (1) An increase in the skills of students at 23.86% (2) An increase in student learning outcomes was 11.7% (3) An increase in the activity of the criteria of good teachers in the first cycle to the criteria very well in the second cycle (4) An increase in the activity of students of both criteria in the first cycle to the criteria very well in the second cycle (5) the student showed a positive response to the application of guided inquiry learning model.Keyword : science process skills, student learning outcome, Guided Inquiry
