Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to improve the activity and the learning outcomes of students of SMPN 1 Muara Uya, through guided inquiry approach. This research was conducted in two cycles to a class which consist of 27 learners. Collecting datas technique were conducted through observations by teachers and collaborators along the learning prosess and achievement test given in the end of learning. Data was analyzed qualitatively. Activity level learners expressed by categories high, medium, and low, while the learning outcomes expressed with mastery and inmastery. This research concluded that: 1). involvement of learners in the learning process as active 2). teacher activity is quite active with a mean score of 2.75 and 3.0 in the first cycle, whereas in the second cycle with a mean of 3.0 and 3.6 in good categories 3). student learning outcomes increased from 85.2% in the first cycle and 100% in the second cycle exceeds 75% of the criteria that have been established. So, implementation of inquiry approach can improve the activity and learning outcomes of students in learning science in the eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Muara Uya.Key words: guided inquiry approach, learning activities, learning outcomes

Abstract

Perilaku ramah lingkungan merupakan perilaku dalam meminimalisir dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Pengetahuan tentang pencemaran lingkungan dan agama akan membentuk manusia berperilaku ramah terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan tentang pencemaran lingkungan dan agama yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di UIN Antasari. Responden berasal dari mahasiswa Prodi Tadris Kimia Angkatan 2017/2018 dan 2018/2019. Sampel merupakan sampel jenuh dengan jumlah responden 20 mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode  deskriptif dengan studi korelasional dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dan korelasi sederhana. Berdasarkan analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang simultan antara pengetahuan tentang pencemaran lingkungan dan agama terhadap tindakan ramah lingkungan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Has done research on the application of the model STAD on the material of natural resources and environment in the fourth grade student of SDN 9 Tanjung. Classroom action research is intended to increase student's understanding of the relationship of natural resources and the environment and increase positive attitudes fourth grade students of SDN 9 Tanjung to the environment. This study uses a classroom action research model of Kemmis and Taggart spiral from one to the next cycle. Each cycle includes (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflections. The results showed that: (1) model with cooperative learning type STAD can improve student learning outcomes in the matter of natural resources and environment marked by increasing exhaustiveness student learning by 50%. (2) The application of cooperative model type STAD can improve students' positive attitudes to the environment. Key word : cooperative model, STAD, natural resources and environment

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kebutuhan perangkat pembelajaran kimia tingkat SMA yang berbasis budaya Suku Asmat. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah deskripsif kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi kasus. Sumber data terdiri atas informan, tempat (peristiwa), dan dokumen. Teknik atau metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Wawancara, (2) Observasi langsung, (3) Studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif yang meliputi tiga komponen yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, penarikan simpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  1) telah diidentifikasi sebanyak 3 kompetensi dasar kimia yang strategis diajarkan secara terintegrasi dengan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis budaya Suku Asmat; 2) telah diidentifikasi sebanyak 3 konsep kimia yang strategis diajarkan secara terintegrasi dengan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis budaya Suku Asmat yaitu mewarnai tubuh saat upacara adat – asam basa – praktikum, makanan olahan dari sagu – koloid – ular tangga, dan tas tradisional “noken” – karbohidrat - LKS; dan 3) sekolah menghadapi beberapa kendala dan hambatan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran kimia berbasis budaya Suku Asmat. Kesimpulannya pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis budaya Suku Asmat sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran kimia.

Abstract

Abstract. The research development of bilingual teaching material chemistry with contextual approach to the subject matter household chemical materials was studied. The aim of this research development was produced the product bilingual teaching material chemistry with contextual approach to the subject matter household chemical materials to support bilingual learning strategies and according to contextual learning steps. The model of the development refered to Dick & Carey model approach system. Expert tes subject was lecturer of FKIP UNLAM Banjarmasin, they were 3 lecturers of chemistry department as expert of matter and 2 lecturers of english department as expert of english. Meanwhile tryout subject were students of grade VIII in Junior High School 1 Banjarmasin year 2012/2013, they were 15 students of grade VIII that determined by randomly as small group tryout and 31 students of grade VIII A as field tryout. Data collection techniques were used a questionnaire sheet validation for expert of matter and english, observation sheet, achievement test, and students response. All of the data of the research were analyzed descriptively. The result of the research indicates that has been developed a bilingual teaching material chemistry with contextual approach to the subject matter household chemical materials which is valid and effective for increasing conceptual comprehension and english competence of students.

Abstract

Abstract. Implementation of TGT model and GI on food in the digestive system concept B class VIII SMPN I Paringin expected to increase the activity and student learning outcomes. In addition, this research purpose to increase the activity of teachers and students' response to the learning model of TGT and GI. This type of research is a kind of action research Classes (Classroom Action Research). The study consisted of two cycles, and each cycle consisted of two meetings with the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of class VIII B SMPN 1 Paringin totaling 20 people, 9 men and 11 women. Results showed increased activity of teachers of the first cycle of 94% to 96.25% in the second cycle in the excellent category, the learning activities of students has increased in the first cycle TGT learning model by 77% and the learning model GI of 75.84% while in the second cycle TGT learning model by 95% and GI learning model by 96%. Learning outcomes of students also increased from the action, which is an average result of learning the first cycle of 68.25%, and in the second cycle of 98.95% with a classical KKM 76. While the expected 85% of students completed can also be achieved, it this can be seen in the first cycle of 70% and the second cycle has reached 90%. Response / feedback class VIII B SMPN 1 Paringin responded positively to the learning model of TGT and GI.Keywords: Activities Learning, Learning Outcomes, Learning Model, TGT, GI.

Abstract

Hal penting yang ingin ditingkatkan berkenaan pembelajaran yaitu methods dan insight. Metode meliputi pengetahuan profesionalisme guru yang akan terlihat dalam rancangan pembelajaran dan penerapannya. Insight merupakan hal-hal yang tidak nampak dalam rancangan pembelajaran, unpredictable, terjadi spontan dalam pembelajaran, dan guru harus mengambil keputusan (decision). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah peningkatan pengelolaan pembelajaran secara reflektif, dengan cara menganalisis pembelajaran berdasarkan salinan percakapan selama proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian 'Penerapan Transcript Based Lesson Analysis (TBLA) Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Pembelajaran Kimia Di SMA Negeri 7 Banjarmasin'. TBLA merupakan salah satu cara dalam Lesson Analysis yang merupakan bagian dari Lesson Study. Adapun langkah-langkah penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Merencanakan research lesson, (2) Implementasi pembelajaran, meliputi: observasi, refleksi, transkripsi (instant transcript), (3) Analisis pembelajaran melalui full transcript yang diperoleh melalui rekaman audio dan video. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas 12 MIPA-2 SMAN 7 Banjarmasin secara bersiklus. Berdasarkan hasil TBLA siklus 1 dan 2 terlihat kecenderungan transkrip percakapan secara klasikal masih didominasi oleh guru. Adapun dampak positif penerapan Lesson study antara lain: membantu guru mengkritisi pembelajarannya berdasarkan hasil reflektif, membantu guru dalam memantau aktivitas peserta didik secara lebih detail, karena bantuan observer dan meningkatkan kolaborasi guru dalam team teaching.

Abstract

Abstract: Teacher centered, monotone class dan less interaction between teacher and students were the trend of learning activities. By these situation students become passive learners, less motivation, loss of concentration, and easily bored. In some material such as The Characteristics of living things, students’ achievement is getting lower. Through this research, Researcher tries to cope with the problem by conducting Class Action Research. In this research, Group Investigation is implemented to learn Caracteristics of living things material. The research was established in two cycles, the first cycle consists of two learning activities, and the second cycle consists of one learning activity. The purposes of the study are (1) practicing teacher ability, (2) increasing student activity, (3) increasing students’ achievement, (4) detecting student respond. The subject are 37 students of the 7th grade A class of SMPN 27 Banjarmasin. Data was collected by observation, test administration, and questionnaire. Analyzing data was conducted by qualitative descriptive. The research showed that (1) Practicability of lesson plan in the first cycle is 96,44% (good), and in the second cycle is 100% (good); (2) Students learning activity in the first cycle is ranging from 81,48% to 100% for the positive activities and 9,27 % for the irrelevance activities. In the second cycle students learning activity is ranging from 96,30% to 100% for the positive activities. (3) In the first cycle, students achievement is 76,75 on average with the class mastery 75,68%, and in the second cycle increase to 81,08 with the class mastery 100%; (4) Students give positive respond to the learng activities.Key words: students achievement, Group Investigation Models, caracteristics of living things material

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to find out the misconception of students in learning the concept of chemical equilibrium and its causes in terms of students and teachers. The method used is quantitative and qualitative method with research design in the form of descriptive survey study. The subject of research is determined by purposive sampling technique. Technique of collecting data by written test using Three-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Instrument and non-test by conducting interview. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics with percentage and criticize their misconceptions. The result of the research shows that there are students' misconception of the concept of low-grade dynamic equilibrium, the concept of homogeneous equilibrium and heterogeneous medium criterion, the concept of medium-weighted equilibrium constant, the concept of quantitative relationships among components in medium-balance equilibrium reactions, the concept of moderate-weighted equilibrium, the concept of chemical equilibrium in industrial processes Medium criteria. The causes of student misconceptions originating from students themselves are preconception, associative thinking, abstract concept comprehension, student ability and wrong student reasoning. The causes of student misconceptions that come from the teaching teacher are the excessive use of verbal language and the small vowel, the teacher does not provide a profound explanation and emphasis on the concept and error of the teacher's explanation.Keywords: misconceptions, Three-tier, chemical equilibrium

Abstract. Today the field of proteomics become one of the scientific disciplines that the spotlight of science. The integration of proteomics and bioinformatics studies linking between the database and technology. Databases are very helpful in the field of proteomics research. Database integrated into the proteomics experiment, aimed at determining the identity, characteristics, and interactions of proteins. An application form The GDPE is a web-based application with a relational database based PRIDE XML format. Protein sequence database provides peptide sequences that will be matched with tandem mass spectrum by search engines. Proteomic study the use of advanced tools called MALDI stands for Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization, with this tool will be known about the structure and function of a protein. The technique used in the study of proteomics analysis of which is in the form of 2D electrophoresis gel so as to separate, identify and measure the molecular weight. Another technology is highly sensitive mass spectrometry, and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).Keywords: proteomics, database, proteomics technology
