Abstract

LPG gas stove is a tool used to convert the chemical energy of fuel into heat energy that is used for the cooking process. The use of magnetic can be affect efficiency of LPG gas stoves. The purpose of this study to determine the influence of the magnetic field and the distance of the installation of the fuel lines to the efficiency of LPG gas stove, so that can be seen optimal location of installation of magnets on the fuel line. Variations installation from the stove inlet is 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, and 120 cm. In this study, using a magnetic 5000 gauss. The observed data is the fuel consumption, cooking time savings and efficiency. The results of this study indicate that the installation of magnets in the fuel hose at a distance of 60 cm from the stove inlet is the most optimal with an efficiency of 55%. So that compared with a standard stove without magnet there is an increased efficiency of 89.65%.

Abstract

Tanah gambut berserat merupakan tanah organik yang terbentuk akibat pelapukan tumbuh tumbuhan yang tergenang air di daerah tropis; akibatnya sebagian serat masih jelas terlihat pada struktur tanah gambut berserat. Tanah gambut  berserat  mempunyai  sifat  fisik  dan  teknis  yang  jelek,  yaitu:  kadar  air dan  angka  pori  yang  tinggi,  spesific gravity dan daya dukung yang rendah serta pemampatan  yang besar dan tidak merata. Oleh sebab itu, banyak metode perbaikan tanah gambut berserat yang telah diterapkan di lapangan. Akan tetapi, metode yang telah diterapkan tersebut belum  memperhatikan  dampak  lingkungan  yang  terjadi  serta  ketebalan  lapisan  tanah  gambut  berserat  yang  harus diperbaiki.  Berdasarkan  hal tersebut,  penting  dilakukan  analisa  terhadap  metode  perbaikan  yang telah diterapkan  di lapangan  sehingga  pemilihan  metode  perbaikan  tanah  gambut  yang  dilakukan  tepat  dan  berwawasan  lingkungan. Metode  perbaikan  tanah gambut  berserat  yang telah diterapkan  meliputi,  pengelupasan  lapisan gambut,  pembebenan awan, galar kayu, cerucuk kayu dan stabilisasi seluruh lapisan gambut. Semua metode yang telah diterapkan tersebut (kecuali   stabilisasi)   ternyata   mempunyai   dampak   yang   cukup   besar   terhadap   lingkungan   serta   hanya   mampu dilaksanakan  pada lapisan tanah gambut dengan ketebalan maksimal empat meter. Sedangkan metode stabilisasi lebih berwawasan  lingkungan  dan lebiih murah dibandingkan  metode lainnya dan mampu diterapkan  pada lapisan gambut dengan ketebalan  sepuluh meter. Untuk tanah gambut yang memiliki ketebalan  lebh dari sepuluh meter, penggunaan tiang pancang dengan lapisan anti korosif merupakan pilihan yang terbaik.

Abstract

The long-term goal of this research is to participate in promoting the use of information and communication technology / Information Technology / Communications (ICT) in education. While the target is to create a good E-learning information system, with an attractive interface, simple and simple but can be understood easily by all users, both teachers and students as a media-based learning information and communication technology. This system is made with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Standardization which is a worldwide standard. By designing systems that comply with this standardization or obtain validation from the W3C, the system can be accessed by using various versions of different browsers and devices (responsive templates).

Abstract

PT. Metalindo Bumi Raya is a mining company operating on the island of sebuku. Speedboat Port PT. Metalindo Bumi Raya has a problem of speedboat schedule information system, making it difficult and slow in the process of reporting passenger data, drivers, schedules, fuel purchases, spare parts purchases. The development of information technology is currently growing very rapidly and the need for computer technology is increasingly in demand by the company, in line with the existing system problems when it needs to be balanced with the existence of a system that can monitor the speedboat schedule of employees and information on the use of fuel at PT. Metalindo Bumi Raya. Methods built for Research Implementation of Speedboat schedule and fuel usage at PT. Metalindo Bumi Raya uses several stages of research that identify problems, planning, data collection, system analysis and system design. Making the implementation of speedboat schedule reporting system and fuel consumption at PT. Metalindo Bumi Raya uses delphi 7, and MYSQL as database. Reporting of data reporting of passenger data, driver, schedule, fuel purchase, sparepart purchase at PT. Metalindo Bumi Raya will be able to walk more easily so it can help the officers in carrying out their duties.

Abstract

liquid-liquid extraction in a mixer tank was widely used to reach a certain mass transfer rate. Mass transfer rate in a mixer tank extractor is declared as mass transfer coefficient. This research intends to learn how mass transfer coefficient does in a mixer tank extractor and variables that influence mass transfer coefficient.  Determination of mass transfer coefficient in a mixer tank extractor is a function of mixer rate and characteristic of physical system.  This system study about water – acetic acid – methyl acetic between CMC as a phase concentration in a solvent.  The influences of  variable to mass transfer coefficient in a equation of non-dimention group is; Sh=7396.05 Re0.82 Sch -0.35.For whirlmixer, rate is between 1 to 4 circle/s and solvent viscosity is between 1 to 6.18 cP, and for whirlReynold, rate is between 2500 to 1000 and whirlSchmidt is between 689.655 to 4262.07.

Abstract

Regional development engineering in coastal areas, tidal land reclamation, delta area reclamation and port planning, tidal knowledge is very important. Tides mainly occur due to the gravitational forces of the moon, sun, and other planets. The influence of different gravitational forces can be predicted precisely because the rotation and revolutionary movements of the earth, moon, sun, and other planets take place with very high order. The tidal period every day is mainly determined by the rotation of the earth with a 24-hour period. Influence of the sun even though its attraction is only half that of the lunar pull, its influence should not be ignored As understood months around the earth with a period of about 29.5 days. When the position of the moon-earth-sun is in line, the tidal forces of the sun and moon strengthen each other. At that time spring tide occurred. Whereas if the sun-earth forms an angle of 90 degrees, then the minimum tides occur (neap tide). The two conditions are about 7 days old, according to the moon's revolution. Because of the influence of the inertia of the mass of water, the spring and neap tide occur between one and three days after these extreme conditions occur. In short-term studies often researchers take extreme conditions, namely during the tidal peak and peak tide (spring tide), because it does not require a long time compared to researching during a longer tide period. The research approach that will be carried out is whether the tide and peak peaks still occur 1-3 days after the full moon and the dead moon, whether there is a change in the height of the tide and ebb during a certain period due to global warming. As a result of global warming, it is also an effect on the water level of the Barito River. There was a decrease in the maximum water level which previously was around 3 m, now only around 2 m, the minimum water level previously around 2 m was now below 1 m. This will affect the hydrotopographic conditions of tidal swamp land, land that was previously type A can change to type B and so on. The highest tides on the Barito River often occur in the dead months, namely the 1st and 29th of the Hijri.

Abstract

The scarcity of LPG gas that often occurs in Indonesia often makes Indonesian citizens uneasy. This scarcity led many researchers to conduct research that could reduce the dependence of Indonesian citizens with LPG gas. In this study, researchers conducted tests related to the use of premium steam as fuel. This test is carried out by varying the air supply, where this supply has been determined at 2 km/cm2 , 3 km/cm2 and 4 km/cm2 , in addition to the air supply this test also performs fire temperature measurements using thermocouples and data logers, where the location of the thermocouple has been located at points 1 cm, 3cm and 5 cm from the mouth of the nozzle. Based on the test results, the shape of the flame from variations in the air supply obtained the best and stable results were in the 3 km/cm2 air supply, while the other for the 2 km/cm2 air supply was found to be unstable fire and for which the 4 km/cm2 fire air supply looked large and unstable. Whereas for the highest temperature of the three placement points the thermocouple is located at the top point with a distance of 5 cm from the mouth of the fire with an average temperature of around 900oC and the lowest temperature is at 1 cm from the nozzle mouth, where the temperature is at 400oC to 550oC, in addition The temperature stability is in the air supply of 3 km/cm2

Abstract

BeatME is made by utilizing digital technology and network technology to make it easier for humans to channel their creativity in the field of music. With this convenience, it is expected that people who have always wanted to play music but are constrained by ability, knowledge, tools, cost, time, and location, can realize their desires and produce works. The BeatME game control system is a tool made by using Arduino as a game controller named. Based on the results of tests that have been done, it can be concluded that the device can send and receive data for communication with the Bepay game. And also equipped with a vibrating sensor and infrared to add the impression of drawing in its use. It is expected that with this test can be played by beginners and who are already accustomed to the game Bepay to become an interesting entertainment.

Abstract

Peranan jasa konstruksi dimasa sekarang dan nanti akan semakin terasa kebutuhannya oleh semua pihak, sebagai Unsur produksi yang melaksanakan proses konstruksi untuk menghasilkan suatu bangunan. Terkait dengan keselamatan kerja jasa konstruksi merupakan salah satu sektor yang mempunyai resiko kecelakaan kerja yang tinggi, sehingga diperlukan langkah-langkah perbaikan menuju keselamatan yang terbaik. Selain peraturan dan perundang-undangan juga diperlukan penelitian tentang kecelakaan kerja yang meliputi jenis, penyebab dan sebagainya.Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi pada pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi gedung di Kalimantan Selatan. Gambaran ini didasarkan pada identifikasi kecelakaan kerja yang didasarkan pada keterangan cedera, ragam kecelakaan, sumber cedera, kondisi dan tindakan berbahaya, akibat dan lokasi kejadian, waktu kejadian dan usia pekerja yang mengalami kecelakaan kerja. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi masukan bagi pemerintah dan kontraktor.Penelitian ini didasarkan pada data yang diperoleh dari survey dengan mengajukan sejumlah pertanyaan dengan metode contoh acak sederhana (simple random sample), dimana responden adalah kontraktor kelas A yang berdomisili di Kalimantan Selatan, serta PT. JAMSOSTEK yang berkenaan dengan pengajuan klaim asuransi kecelakaan kerja oleh kontraktor.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, anggota tubuh yang sering mengalami cedera ialah tangan dan kepala, jenis kecelakaan yang sering terjadi ialah terbentur dan terpukul, sumber cedera yang terbanyak ialah perkakas kerja tangan dan peralatan lain seperti tangga, perancah. Kondisi berbahaya yang banyak menyebabkan kecelakaan ialah pengaturan, prosedur yang tidak aman dan pakaian perlengkapan tidak aman. Sedangkan tindakan berbahaya oleh pekerja yang banyak menyebabkan kecelakaan ialah melalaikan penggunaan alat pelindung dan tidak serius dalam bekerja. Akibat kecelakaan bagi pekerja menyebabkan cedera, dan lokasi kejadian kecelakaan sering terjadi di dalam lokasi proyek. Waktu yang rawan terjadi kecelakaan pada waktu siang hari yaitu pada pukul 12.00 – 18.00, usia pekerja yang sering mengalami kecelakaan kerja ialah 31 tahun – 35 tahun.
