Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of operating cash flow, investment cash flow, and financing cash flow on firm value in financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). This study uses panel data with 51 financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from the 2014-2018 period. The analysis method used is multiple regression analysis with a fixed effect model. Partially the results of the study indicate that operating cash flow has a positive and insignificant effect on firm value. Investment cash flow has a negative and significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile, funding cash flows have a negative and insignificant effect on firm value. However, simultaneously operating cash flow, investment cash flow, and financing cash flow have affected positive and significant on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect quality of information and perceived ease of use on Online purchasing decisions mediated by consumer confidence in e-commerce application users in the city of Banda Aceh. The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence quality of and perceived ease of use on online purchasing decisions mediated by consumer confidence in e-commerce application users in the city of Banda Aceh. The sampling method in this study used purposive sampling with a sample of 160 respondents. Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) is used as a method of analysis to determine the effect of the analyzed variables. The results of this study indicate that the variables of Information Quality, Perceived Ease of Use and Consumer confidence have a significant effect on Online Purchasing Decisions. Furthermore, the consumer confidence variable partially mediates between the quality of information and the perceived ease of use of Online purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of content, accuracy, format, timelines and ease of use on fintech-based application satisfaction, in this case used a fintech-based application called LinkAja as material for research. This research is quantitative in nature and data is obtained through questionnaires distributed through the online media WhatsApp. The samples taken were 60 respondents using non-probability sampling technique, namely convience sampling, while the data analysis technique used hypothesis test, classical assumption test, reliability test, and validity test. The results of this study indicate that the content and format variabels have a significant effect on user satisfaction, while the variabels of accuracy, timelines and ease of use have no significant effect on user satisfaction of the LinkAja application.  The implication is that in order to increase user satisfaction, it is hoped that the company will always maintain quality and innovate its features as well as beautify its appearance by following the latest trends in order to compete against other similar applications.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Band Awareness and Perceived Quality on Customer Satisfaction mediated by Brand Equity on smartphone users. The sample used in this study was 394 students of  Syiah Kuala University using probability sampling techniques. Then, the data collection used in this study was study uses data collection equipment, namely a questionnaire (-questionnaire). This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a method of analysis to determine the effect of the variables involved in mediation testing in this study. The results of SEM analysis shows that Perceived Quality and Brand Awareness have a positive effect on Brand Equity. Brand Equity, Brand Awareness, and Perceived Quality have a positive effect on Customer Satisfaction. Brand Equity acts as a mediator of the relationship between perceived quality and customer satisfaction as well as the relationship between brand awareness and customer satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, tangibility, company size, and asset turnover on capital structure in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study uses panel data with 27 Property and Real Estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from the 2014-2018 period. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis with fixed effect models. Partially the results of the study show that profitability has a negative and significant effect on capital structure, tangibility has no effect on positive direction on capital structure, company size has a positive and significant effect on capital structure, and asset turnover has no effect on positive direction on capital structure on property companies and real estate in Indonesia. In this study only profitability is in line with the pecking order theory. While the variable tangibility, and company size are in line with the trade-off theory.

Abstract

Financial distress adalah tahap dimana terjadinya penurunan kondisi keuangan perusahaan sebelum terjadinya kebangkrutan ataupun likuidasi. Ada banyak faktor yang mungkin dapat menyebabkan financial distress pada suatu perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial, likuiditas dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap financial distress pada seluruh perusahaan perhotelan, restoran dan pariwisata yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2015-2019 yang sekaligus merupakan populasi dalam penelitian ini. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 16 perusahaan pada periode 2015-2019 sehingga diperoleh 80 data observasi. Proksi pengukuran Financial distress yang digunakan adalah interest coverage ratio (ICR). Penelitian ini memakai analisis regresi logistik dengan bantuan STATA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap financial distress, sedangkan kepemilikan manajerial dan likuiditas secara partial tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap financial distress. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi dalam menambah bukti empiris dalam literatur keuangan perusahaan serta sebagai bahan pertimbangan bagi investor dalam keputusan investasi.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of supply chain social sustainability towards performance supply chain mediated by supplier and operational performances. Micro and small manufacturing enterprises within Banda Aceh city are used as population. It consists approximately 2.871 businesses in Banda Aceh, but only 351 are taken as samples. The sampling technique uses Probability Sampling and the type of sampling is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data was collected through survey using questionnaire. The Structural Equation Modeling is used on analytical method to determine the effect of variables involved. The result shows that operational performance plays major role on social sustainability of supply chain towards performance supply chain while supplier performance has no effect at all on micro and small enterprises in Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure on company performance. Capital structure is measured by Long-term debt to total asset (LTDA) and Short-term debt to total asset (STDA), while company performance is measured by Return On Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Tobin's Q. The purposive sampling technique is use to analize the Data of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2018 period. It was found that capital structure has a negative significant effect on company performance as measured by ROA and ROE, and capital structure has a positive significant effect on Tobin's Q. Capital structure that measured by Longterm debt to total assets (LTDA) and Short-term debt to total assets (STDA) also has an inverse non-linear U-shaped relationship to company performance as measured by ROE and Tobin's Q.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of information asymmetry, firm size and free cash flow on earnings management in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the periode 2015-2019. By using purposive sampling technique, samples of 19 companies was obtained. The analytical method used in this study is panel data regression analysis using Eviews 10. The results show that firm size has a significant positive influence on earnings management, while information asymmetry and free cash flow does not significantly influence on earnings management. The result of this research also show that there is a simultaneous influence between information asymmetry, firm size and free cash flow on earnings management.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to measure the effect of Functional Value and Emotional Value on Purchase Intention Mediated by Purchasing Attitudes on Consumers of Packaged Drinking Water Products in Banda Aceh City. The samples of this study consist of 200 respondents who consistently consume the packaged drinking water. Data collection tools used in this study was questioners and Google form. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. AMOS Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used as the analysis method to determine the effect of the variables involved. Based on the results of the analysis that has been conducted, it indicates that Functional Value and Emotional Value have an effect on Purchasing Attitudes, Purchasing Attitudes have a positive effect on Purchase Intention and Purchasing Attitudes partially mediate the relationship between Functional Value and Emotional Value on Purchase Intention.
